  1. Gorgeous 11 days!
  2. I forgot, so sue me :p
  3. Apparently this game has a camera feature, so you can take photos of your Pikmin, which can then be shared on Miiverse Loads in the Miiverse community https://miiverse.nintendo.net/titles/14866558073045809156/14866558073045809163

  5. You mean things change in the business world? You mean games get delayed? Whoa, that has never happened before. Come on... All I was saying is that the launch window wasn't extended, just that games had been delayed out of it.
  6. I do agree that it should be added, don't get me wrong. However, I'm maintaining that it shouldn't be if it's a gimped experience, which latency would cause if all players didn't have a top notch connection since prediction algorithms for 3D platformers have never been perfected.
  7. Have you played Brawl online? It really shouldn't be used as an example of how to do online.. Just because online has taken over local doesn't mean local should be ignored/ditched. It's ridiculous that it is and I think it's part of what keeps killing games for me. I'm all for adding online, but not at the expense of any other part. I don't care if that's where "gaming is going", it shouldn't be. It's like how so many developers are aiming for the "cinematic experience". It's just going to bite them in the ass down the line. Considering the level of interactivity required in the platforming, it really is...
  8. I agree with everyone else. Loading screens aside, Lego City is probably one of the most fun games I have ever played
  9. Ghost data could work, but then people would complain about that and not co-op. The thing is, Nintendo wants it to be perfect and latency would cause issues with this. Prediction algorithms can only go so far. Plus, it'd elongate the development cycle and make the game have to be delayed if they were to attempt it and for it to be good. Don't get me wrong, I'd love both, but I find local far more fun. Nintendo have always been about the local play and they're never going to sacrifice local for online. It'll always be them choosing local.
  10. If you like 2D Mario and can't be arsed to get NSMBU, I recommend New Super Luigi U. It's a great challenge in places and really makes you have to think fast. If you do get NSMBU, then I recommend it as DLC, too
  11. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, while brilliant, were so linear. Super Mario 3D World's levels are really no different to the Super Mario Galaxy ones that didn't really feature the gravity mechanic. I'm personally fine with either, though it's worth noting that Super Mario Sunshine is the 3D Mario disliked the most. People commonly went on about the subspace levels and how cool they were. Galaxy and 3D World are a result of those levels
  12. Me not wanting new stuff to be revealed every day doesn't mean I don't want reveals every now and again. Please stop taking it to extremes
  13. Yeah, highly likely
  14. Really like how improved the Pikmin are. Someone posted this comparison on GAF Someone noted that the character is called Pikmin and Olimar, and is guessing that maybe the Pikmin 3 characters will be alternate costumes
  15. Todays picture OLIMAR CONFIRMED These pics worth it now, @Ashley? :p
  16. I remember it happening all the time back then. It's just due to the internet not being as big, many didn't notice. However, Nintendo have ALWAYS been one to delay games
  17. Well Nintendo lists it in their first party games so I count it
  18. I apologise. It seems I forgot to finish my thought. Could have sworn I did though.
  19. Funnily enough, I wasn't referring to the release of games as marketing. Please refrain from putting words in my mouth. Well New Super Luigi U retail for one. It counts. I keep forgetting to change the 10 to 9 in regards to Game & Wario's release though, so for that I apologise. Mario & Sonic, while developed by Sega, is funded and published by Nintendo. Sonic Lost World is also being published by Nintendo, but doesn't really count The original Wii Party sold 8 million units. It's irrational to just assume it will do Game & Wario style sales and flop. I'm not saying it'll sell crazily, but at this point you cannot make assertions either way
  20. I too shall be getting the Wii U version
  21. August 15th on the Wii U Europe eShop for €14.99
  22. I have completed the game and noticed no issues other than a couple of very minor Americanisms
  23. I disagree. The plaza is pretty cool
  24. They are doing a big marketing push, releasing 10 first party titles between now and the end of the year
