  1. Really? Everything I have seen, outside of sales and later price reductions, has been the games listed at RRP which is identical to Nintendo. Nintendo have sales on it. They have permanent price reductions. The only thing they don't do that Sony does is the gift for accepting the paywall. The difference is, Sony games lose their value quicker than Nintendo ones, and that's why first party games stay at RRP longer.
  2. Only Steam manages to get away with it. Sony and MS don't and they do the same. Outside of sales (which also happen on the eShop funnily enough), the games stay at RRP. Yes, there is now the Plus scheme that gives free, old, games, but that's not relevant in regards to the topic at hand. Nintendo do sales, they do special offers, just like the others. I find it ridiculous that Nintendo get slated when the others do the exact same thing, but they instead give older games for free to convince people to get into their ridiculous multiplayer paywalls.
  3. We're not going to find her buried under your house, are we?? :p
  4. The lists going around are fake
  5. Got a couple new Joe pics. Yes I look tired in them, that's what happens when you haven't slept since September
  6. A better pic of 720
  7. We all know who is the cause of this, @ReZourceman :p
  8. Did I? That'd have been stupid of me
  9. 1. Yes 2. Of course I do. 3. Lies.
  10. Should we change this topic to show off our Halloween costumes? The party I'm going to isn't until tomorrow but he's a taster of mine
  11. Shows various items and areas. No plot stuff as far as I can tell
  12. New trailer. Looks amazing
  13. X & Y are pretty much out of the way now, so I'm going to start hunting again! Gotta catch 'em all!
  14. The thing with the DS is that it tapped a then un-tapped market, one that has now been oversaturated and shifted to smartphone purchases of Angry Birds, Candy Crush Saga and other mindless time killers. Things like Brain Training and Nintendogs are what pushed the DS, and the 3DS versions of those have fallen completely flat You know nothing of lack of free time, my friend. :p I haven't left the house at all this month due to XY.
  15. No, a Mega Stone is found there
  16. Agreed. Problem is, I'm not sure what Nintendo could do. If they went with any of the suggestions people post online: larger price cut, go third party, put software on smartphones etc., it would kill the company.
  17. Artistic license
  18. Really is what they need to do
  19. Given Shin'en's knack for getting amazing graphics in a small filesize, I am looking forward to this game
  20. I think it's potentially doable. Mario is a decent draw...if they push Mario Kart to February it could happen too. It probably won't, but there is potential.
  21. Well that makes sense considering the data it's sending.
  22. You don't see the considerable stat changes happen anymore. It's automatically calculated all the time. We'll never again see say +30. Ok, you can have 255 (252 if you use Super Training) Effort Points in a stat. For every 4 Effort Points, it is equal to a +1 at Level 100 meaning that fully EV trained Pokémon in a stat has a stat 63 higher than an identical counterpart that hasn't been trained. At lower levels, it's calculated to be a fraction. In previous games, when you did this, you saw the increase when you levelled up, so you would see massive increases of +30 or so on the odd occasion. Nowadays, it's calculated after the end of every battle, and you don't see it physically increase unless you're constantly checking the stat screen.
  23. Not true. As of Black & White, all EVs are recalculated into the stats after every battle
  24. I wasn't going to get Golf or Baseball...but damn that's tempting
  25. 3 weeks ago, and yes. The issue is that they have a Pikachu that can talk in this game, and they're worried about that.
