  1. An old friend died yesterday Haven't seen her for a couple of years...one of those cases where when they start a family they disappear for most friends, which sucked. It's a bit of a shock, as it was so sudden. One of my best friends was engaged to her for a while and he's not handling it well, going to be there for him as much as possible.
  2. Patch notes:
  3. Big Blue. They be trollin' :p
  4. First party wise, Nintendo's output has been the best it has been in such a condensed period in years. I disagree on hardware, considering how before this gen, it was mostly the weakest one that came out on top.
  5. It really is. My friend's amiibo has taken up his habit of taunting after every kill, and all mine have a habit of rolling like crazy The next waves of amiibo from the Super Smash Bros. Collection will soon be available to pre-order from the ‪#‎NintendoUKStore‬! Make sure to check out the amiibo store hub from the times listed below to secure your order. http://store.nintendo.co.uk/amiibo.list Wednesday 15th April from 3pm Greninja & Jigglypuff Thursday 16th April from 3pm Dark Pit, Ganondorf, Palutena & Zero Suit Samus @Hero\-of\-Time you may want to see this
  6. Nintendo UK Store bonus http://store.nintendo.co.uk/games-wii-u/kirby-and-the-rainbow-paintbrush/11095320.html
  7. Give it a month after launch and most games are cheap to buy
  8. I disagree. We've seen lots of awesome use for it. However, people seem to want this huge massive killer use for it to "justify", but it doesn't need it. It has many awesome, albeit small, uses. It isn't a revolution as they intended, sure, but it's certainly an evolution and I struggle going back to games without it.
  9. I'd argue that the marketing is the big thing that they messed up. Everything else, even if it's deemed "bad" by people here, could be ignored. Power, for example. However, if everything was the same as it was but they had properly marketed it with a cool thing to show off the GamePad, it'd have done so much better
  10. In Smash, you can train them up as custom fighters that work differently to the AI. They actually learn from you and adapt to your play style. Then, they are saved there. Akin to that, Mario Party 10 uses them to save customisations
  11. Yeah, when they use it to unlock stuff, sure, but don't forget that amiibo aren't just for unlocking content.
  12. Just not GAME's asking price. Yikes :p
  13. I never said it was a good price. You're putting words in my mouth and then you are attacking me because of the false things you claim I say. Please desist.
  14. GAME UK have added the Yoshi amiibo for £19.99 individually, a three pack for £49.99 or the bundle and all two for £79.99 Prices only visible on mobile site
  15. Do we really need to explain economics again? Indeed. Had so many things come on or after launch now. It's such a shame.
  16. Yeah, I'm expecting RRP and NUK price to be £12.99 for them
  17. ShopTo added the Yoshi amiibo. £16.85 each
  18. Microsoft can absorb the loss and play the long game. They also have third party support to help offset it. Nintendo cannot absorb the loss and don't have third party support NX is also not being revealed until next year, meaning likely 2017 release, and may not even be the home console.
  19. It remains to be seen if that is the new baseline for the PS4. It's had a couple of good weeks due to game releases and new bundles. I don't see Nintendo doing a price cut, personally. Nintendo are not going to cut into any potential profits just to get more systems out there. That's not good business.
  20. Totally agree
  21. Just to clarify, I'm not saying that there isn't an issue. What I have been saying is that, knowing production length and so forth, it's not an easy a fix as people are insisting it should be. It's easy to say that it should be fixed, and complain when it hasn't yet, but any plans they put forth shortly after launch are only just going to start to show fruit.
  22. Indeed. My concern is the lack of pipe shortcuts etc. Hopefully we can do them
  23. Not really, as it relies on a lot of hardware that's not theirs.
  24. For the love of god. -_- No.
