  1. Seems they're scrambling to think up other stretch goals now haha
  2. And it's funded. Incredible
  3. Yeah, I feel the same about a lot of games. Aaanyway, back on topic. Still trying to get into DK64 but it's just not gripping me :/
  4. German law and Youtube streaming is weird
  5. They also told people that they'll be releasing more cool products throughout the year
  6. I want that light but don't want to be screwed on something cooler later :/
  7. This Majora's Mask Light is now available on the #ClubNintendo Stars Catalogue! 6000 Stars
  8. Happens often. I have many late nights, often needing music playing with my work. Besides, they're heavy sleepers, especially as my dad is deaf. Plus, I have my own TV and Virgin Media box in my room so it's illogical for me to bring friends in there, but I have many times.
  9. Yeah, we have the exact same situation, though I sometimes cook for the family too...out of choice because I enjoy it. It's not right for certain people to have a go saying we don't know freedom just because they were under restrictions when they lived at home that people like us don't have.
  10. That's what he does. I'm giving up arguing with him. He's more stubborn than me and that's saying something. Plus, when people say things he disagrees with, he says they are lying.
  11. No, it has been known to on other things before, it's just streaming services are the topic of discussion... Note the use of the word seldom rather than never
  12. It could be because your Internet speed was determined so they put it at a lower bitrate which didn't fluctuate whereas mine, due to being a higher speed, went to a higher bitrate which then dropped. It was very frustrating when it happened. I was sceptical about streaming beforehand, but the issues with Netflix just confirmed my suspicions and with that and my network certification, with latency I can see how gaming can have many issues with it. Nice revisionist history you have
  13. I have 154mbps broadband, and it is very reliable and seldom drops, and even I had pixilation issues while watching Daredevil on Netflix and it happened at least once per episode. It's not an issue that goes away suddenly. It exists. It's a massive issue with streaming content and if it were to happen with games, you'd be screwed. Also, waiting 10 years won't change the fundamental issues with streaming interactive entertainment. You cannot change the laws of physics and that's what will hold it back
  14. There's a difference between watching a streamed movie and streaming something interactive though, and latency/laws of physics make it so it will never be a decent replacement. It's probable streaming will exist with standard distribution where you can pay for instant but flawed gratification or you can buy the game to get top quality, no issues etc., but streaming will not replace anything in gaming and every attempt so far has failed, and I have no doubt that PS Now will fail
  15. No further location tests have been announced. Had some last week
  16. Probably 2pm
  17. I do have 100% freedom.
  18. It's more that people don't understand that others can have different levels of independence to what they had when they lived at home
  19. Considering most ISPs, especially in America, have bandwidth caps...streaming is not an option at all. It's astonishing that people can't see the massive glaring issues that exist with streaming and just spout the bull that "it's the future...honest"
  20. Not to mention that the latency issues will kill so many games. Until we break the laws of physics, just a tiny bit of latency would kill any Mario game. VC isn't a system selling feature. It's a bonus. They don't expect people to buy a console for Virtual Console. Streaming them is a horrible idea...anyone with an ounce of sense can see this.
  21. They need to hurry up and announce the Wii U one. Looks so good
  22. The funny thing is that streaming Virtual Console titles would take up more bandwidth than simply downloading them
  23. To be fair, many people who move out on their own don't have several of those bits due to either having a flat and so needing to consider neighbours or renting meaning they can't build extensions or redecorate.
  24. Yes. Yes I do to all except the selling of the house, or the kitchen one but that's because that's not sanitary...that's where I prepare my food.
