  1. Bring back Gladiators, definetly a quality programme of the past.
  2. So so so fecking true. i mean what else could you be doing apart from on the Internet for Christ Sakes. Also people who text talk not becasue they use it to abbreviate but to do it to seem cool. Like when poeple consistently use the word "kewl". Trues me damn insane. Also when people assume things are good just becasue of a brand and then go and mindlessly buy it without thinking about getting some other alternate product that is just as good. e.g teh iPod Also on the above point when people buy things just becasue it is popular and they don't really need it. A person I know bought a 20gb iPod and only ahs like 200 songs. Irratating as hell
  3. The 21st for console. 28th for PC version
  4. Hmmm, would Nintendogs topped the charts had only one version beein released (i.e. does Nintedendogs claim top spot if you combine all 3 versions sales?)
  5. Plenty of games for the ole cube
  6. Hm, how well dya think would the PSP have done within the gaming public (I say this because quite a lot of casuals see PLaystation or GTA and buy it immdeiatly and do not actually consider what the PSP can actually bring for them)if cheesecakes and doughnuts weren't available for it? Did anyone on these here boards simply buy it for them?
  7. Konami (of Europe) has announced Pro Evolution Soccer Management (working title) which, er, as you can probably guess is a spin off from the PES series that kicks it into the football management genre. It's in development for PS2 and "enjoys compatibility with the hugely successful Pro Evolution Soccer 5", says Konami (of Europe). PES Management's being produced by Akiyoshi Chosokabe, a member of Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka's Pro Evolution Soccer development team, and we're told involves players to experience the highs and lows of managing a top-notch football club. You'll be able to manage any club from six European leagues and have to balance the day-to-day running of your chosen side, which includes the likes of player selection, training methods, and transfer dealings. Not surprisingly, you'll oversee every aspect of your team's performance. Coaching staff must be picked to help out too and PES 5's player database is being employed which you can scour for talent before singing on the dotted line. Data from Pro Evolution Soccer 5 can also be used in Management "for the creation of 'Dream Teams', which can then be swapped and used in both games", Konami reveals. Pro Evolution Soccer Management is due in 2006. Screens: Im not sure whether it's a good idea or not. As surely they could have just put this management mode into the next PES on the next gen consoles? Liking Yvonne the assistant though Rio looks as dumb as ever :p
  8. Here's the link: http://gc.advancedmn.com/article.php?artid=5196 An extremly good article if a little dated.
  9. Wow, that song is amazing. Uber L33t :awesome:
  10. Keep in mind that Nintendo did not make this. They just published it, the team responsible for making it was the team responsible for Mary Kate & Ashley's Sweet 16 so you couldn't really expect it to be that good :/
  11. Test The Nation is on the BBC1 now. It's testing your English this time. If you want to play along you can print a scorecard from here http://www.bbc.co.uk/testthenation/scorecard.shtml Should be better than more pointless ones they did previously like who knows the most about 2004. Or you can take it here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/testthenation/english/index.shtml
  12. He shouldn't have done though, was pretty harsh in comparison to what other players sometimes got away with. I feel really sorry for Beckham, his kid's in hospital ill and Romeo said he's be glued to the screen wathcing his Dad play. And Beckham said he'd win the match for him. : / England should've had an extra penalty too.
  13. Or hopefully the DS!
  14. Aye, if it had been the pokemon people wanted (e.g. just pokemon GBA adventure, starting out, catching, training, gym, 3d-ified) then it would've scored well more than 90, not 2 points more than Collesuem. Also, I agree about the environment looking like Collosseum. I mean some of the locations are just rehashes, nothing new added at all, same Pirate (sp) town, same bit with the floating platforms with the floating platform bit. Dissapointing, but it is Genius Sonority making it, I think Colosseum was their first ever game. I think.
  15. Nope, I'm bloody confused. Although if you meant that Defoe is not starting and Crouch is instead then you're probably right. But I don't think that's what you were chatting about
  16. 17. So, as things stand, it looks like Sol is going to take Rio's plce in the starting line up. If we win about Sven they will be saying Sven is finally taking note and is now willing to drop players based on club form. Or If we lose it will be more evidence of Eriksson's indecisiveness :/
  18. Hmm? Curse that not working blink smiley
  19. Two sex scenes and a shower scene and a brief nude dance (unlocked in the extra's part) Cannot believe nothnig has been said about it, especailly as GTA for one did not actullay have sex scenes that were normally accessible. Did UK tabliods actually go to town on GTA or was it just teh Americans?
  20. Any Celtic out there how do you rate this keeper as according to rumour Arsene Wenger is ready to table a bid for Celtic keeper Artur Boruc when he becomes available at the end of the season. (Daily Mirror) Another controversial rumour is that Ronaldinho has told Barcelona chiefs the club needs Chelsea's Frank Lampard to win the Champions League. (The Sun) Can't see ole Frank going anywere, more like ole Ronald going to Chelski :/
  21. Y is much easier as you just slide your thumb up and over it
  22. NGC is better written but for paying £4 you get a magazine and generally a flimsy book that you'll never use. Cube however, be it less of a magazine than NGC you cannot argue with free DVD fotages of Cube games... That said, why buy magazines when you can just read and stream of the ole Internet?
  23. Tetris, Tetris, Tetris! Also, the Wario games and of course Pokemon Red!
  24. GamesTM. Generally single console magazines are more one minded and obviously slightly biased. GamesTM just smacks of quality. A very proffesional magazine for those who are over the "PS2 SUXXXX!" and can appreeciate each console for there own worths and merits.
  25. Drogba had a really really good match for Chelsea. Involved in all 4 goals and did some wonderful skill to get round Hypia. Don't get me wrong, I hate the guy (shouting at his own fans, fool) and his tatty hair but I knew he couldn't be as bad as he has performed for the phenomenal amount of money Chelsea paid for him. 24mil?
