Yeah it really didn't detract at all but seeing as it was quite a big flaw from an aesthetic point of view I wanted to point it out. Moving on.... What does everyone want to see in Resistance 3 (assuming there is one) for me personally I think the bosses needed a bit more depth to them, they looked awesome, animated well, but there wasn't much gameplay. The leviathon went down a bit easy. Erm...... there isn't much for them to improve apart from cascading water really

I don't think stealth is a great game mechanic but I really liked my run-through of MGS4 when I finally got the stealth-camo. Getting past the room with 3 gekkos and the rolling thee legged camera things without being spotted was awesome, adrenaline fueled yet slightly strenuous. You can't beat the first run-through where you experience the cut-scenes for the first time and you mix the style of play around, shooting and noob sneaking.

YESSSS!!!!!! Finally won a Motorstorm track that was pissing me off so much lol! Awesome stuff, came down to the last corner, there were 3 or 4 cars that were ploughing towards the finish line, I managed to drift and boost explode over the line to win by 0.005 seconds! Intense stuff, got a trophy called Close Call too.

But if you walk through water and nothing happens then something is wrong no?! I am just saying it is a graphical error!

Does Gears style gameplay lend itself to competitive online as much as a good FPS game?

No I really like this game, and I really don't care much about this detail, but we were talking about graphics and I'm pointing out that this part is poor. It really wouldn't detract from the gameplay, there are no enemies in the parts where the waterfalls are and they are only small, you probably only pass through 2 of them - the fact is, they are poor. It emphasises the fact you are in a game. Have you played it? The effects are so bad - I'm saying that they could have done something with it, actually make it act like water - the actual jets are very small so if you pass through it I would expect some vision blurr or something - and the whole 24 hours thing isn't relevant. That's just obvious. I'll get a video up

You only need the gameplay kit which gives you 6 levels of metal gear, the paintinnator(sp) 'license' and all the music and stickers etc that go with it. The other stuff is just costumes.

But if you're seeing through the eyes of someone - and you're looking through water - how come he has perfect vision through it? It's like nothing is there.

As I mentioned before the water that cascades down in the first level is shocking for 3 reasons: It doesn't leave a water impression on the camera (Metroid Prime had that for heavens sake) Hale walks through it like it wasn't there, no slow down or grunt Worst bit though is that if you look up into it the effect disappears because it is only 2D lol

I thought every bit of MGS4 looked equally as good, you're making me want to play it for the 4th time lol. (Although one of those was a piss take run with the bandana and stealth camo) Resistance 2 probably did get incrementally better, Cocodrie was impressive along with the other stuff near the end.

Go back a couple of pages and we were discussing it I think. But yeah glad you liked it, it is a good campaign but probably not something I will play through again, I'm enjoying the online mode too much. The more you rank up, the funner it is.

FFS I get so annoyed when reviewers piss all over Motorstorm: PR. It is AWESOME. They really could not have made it much better! The tracks are insane, gives you great sense of speed and the crashes are brilliant. Sorry but the reviewers are arseholes. Just because it is a sequel it should not be marked down by that much, no way. It improves everything and has split-screen added... How can it possibly be lower? Grrrr!

I'm now creating a Crash Bandicoot level remake. Anyone remember: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg8zjpp7DIA Road to Nowhere? That's the target I've set myself, in a way Crash levels are ideal for making in LBP - not too complicated, quite linear and not many planes to move around in plus cool little platform objects that are makeable.

Well getting into a beta is a buzz and makes you feel cool for getting in it, but doing well at it seems a bit pointless. I've now found great enjoyment with Resistance 2 because I win quite a lot now and it is just brilliant.

Really doesn't sound like my kind of game, cartoony visuals (sorry, not my thing), dumbed down difficulty and bosses that can't kill you... I loved the Two Thrones but it looks like they've taken a detour with the franchise. Is it kind of like Zelda in that it isn't episodic but instead there are just multiple ways of telling the tale?

I don't usually pre-order because of the high prices, but If I see somewhere that lists it for £30 I'll probably lap it up.

It can be found for £20 in some online stores. And it is much better than playing with a milk carton. However, the new Dual Shock will send shivers down your spine it is so good.

Definetly lol, I'm glad I bought one now. It really shakes up the way we play games. In all seriousness though I think idea will be embraced by all companies next gen.
