I played the demo (on cousins 360) and was surprised how good the graphics were. The platforming stuff is pretty good but shooting tigers is lame. I really didn't get it so basically I just took up positions where they couldn't get me, like under a log. Comical actually, just seeing the tigers happily queue up right in my face for me to pump them with lead.

Well I did buy the thing second hand, it is 40GB. It is the only problem with it.

Please tell me that the hard disk is the problem! Basically I've had errors occur where data corrupts itself, downloaded videos rarely reach full playback before they get corrupted, and when downloading demos in background it fails to install sometimes (most times).

I think Economics is great, very interesting and useful imo.

So I have to choose My A Level subjects pretty soon. I'm thinking at the moment English Lan & Lit (1 A level) Economics History Chemistry Critical thinking (core module) now everyone has different opinions on what subjects are easy/hard/interesting/boring but I just wondered what everyone here makes of these. you probably won't change my mind but hey. I'm certain on Economics and English, and the core module on critical thinking. Thing is there aren't a lot of other subjects that interest me so Hist and chemistry are kind of the next best thing atm. I don't want to take something like Psychology partly because I forget how to spell it but also because it isn't recognised at the top Unis.

Turned out to be crap cause it didn't work... Oh well. And damn my PS3 is SHIT! I've lost all of my single-player game data cause it's corrupted. Brilliant. So that's why I put so much time into the festival. And I couldn't find my mic to talk to Cooky whilst we kicked a few butts (mostly got mine kicked). At least some of the races were good. I seem to either do really well or really crap.

I was going to say it was barely a review lol. Obviously you got carried away by mentioning fun and cool things instead of gameplay elements and sound (basically all the aspects of a game review). Oh well, you can't go wrong with the phrase '____ shits on ____ from a great height'

Yeah like that and Second Sight, which was also great. This is sandbox though so very different too. My only worry is that Sandbox games do stuggle to make missions different and interesting. I mean you can go almost anywhere at any time so it's hard to change the scenery into a normal FPS sort of level where you haven't been in a linear kind of way. It can be done if you can enter a building or part of the city for that mission only.

Yeah, I know it can draw similarities but I think it was mentioned 3 times too many. And I wouldn't worry that none of the money that you pay for second-hand games goes to the company that made it because 1 copy won't make a difference. Plus it was probably bought from that store, or another store anyway.

Read the review. Was amusing even if it wasn't totally well written. I thought you were putting too much emphasis on the GTA comparison, but maybe that was what you were going for? Anyway good read

Hehe, that's what you paid £40 for! Just had a quality idea Cooky. For one or two races should we just park our monster trucks on the finish line of The sharkmouth level so that no-one can get past? That would be quality to see who would win lol!

Hehe, I completed Fallout 3 a while back before tropies came out I did loads of quests and stuff too! WWE games for me are a bit mind-numbing if I'm being honest. There really isn't a lot. I've only got a couple of PSN games maybe I should try out some more.

Hmmm. I don't know what I've missed. I don't fancy Dead Space or Mirrors Edge, Underworld may be a decent game but none of them are screaming for my attention.

I am having a period where I have got bored of my games. I've lost stats on Resistance, I cba to play LittleBigPlanet and Motorstorm is too damn difficult and time-consuming. I need something else, but I don't think Saints Row is it. I don't know what 'it' is.

They probably don't have the funds to create a new console that can compete on the graphics/multimedia front, and I very much developers would want to have to make games for another console. It won't happen.

Durren Brown I came on to say the same thing.... That guy is crazy! Seriously the only person that makes me believe there is something supernatural or whatever. It says there aren't actors but how can they not be? There is no way that before the show he writes what will happen - Ebay dress???? WTF if you take another 1000 people there is so little chance one of them has bought a dress on eBay. Weird. He's the closest thing we have to Jesus, even if he's just a terribly good con artist. Bizarre thoughts I know but: The table could have been magnetic The lights went dark so the box may have been hauled up and someone else could have written on the cards... Still doesn't explain it all

Yeah I guess, but more Films are story driven and well written than in games. Half Life 2 is an exception, Alex was very good, I found the developer commentary interesting. Episode 2 Ending was brilliant and sad at the same time. Can't wait for the 3rd.

Thing is, and I haven't played this, games rarely evoke any real emotion. Unless Elika(sp) is a very deep character that you can understand and appreciate why the Prince would love her so much then it is almost pointless. You've worked hard to do something and if it ends in such a way you should understand and feel it. Easier to portray this stuff in films than in games.

Oh well, they're only a few quid. Been playing more Motorstorm and it's just getting too intense. I've literally spent 3 hours trying to do one level. In the end I managed it but christ did it end up a chore. I'm seriously doubting whether that Gold trophy is attainable for me or not.
