Can we talk about the game now please (PM each other or something)? I wanted to know, do you reckon it is possible to make a door that opens after pressure is put on a pad linked to it (like in portal)?

It looks awesome but I think Resistance and Killzone will be enough for my FPS needs, if not I may pick it up. Why isn't there a Fallout 3 thread?

Well you can change it to 1 hour I think. Go to settings and it's in the power-save bit.

Mine won't be finished downloading til I wake up tomorrow, flippin beast of a download. Still, feels cool knowing there were only 7000 codes :0 Does anyone know what it is? Multiplayer only or a bit of campaign too? Gonna try beta now. Yeah it must be said, it's awesome.

There's power save, like 5 hours after no action or less, which is good because it won't turn off if a video is being played or if something is downloading

Wow they do run out fast. Sorry about that chriz You just need to sign up on Fileplanet, luckily I remembered my old password from when I tried to get a LBP beta code, however just making a new one as the betas went live was too slow. Just as well!

Lol I just had an online game of Wipeout and most of the people that play are pretty crap, so when I get a weapon I wait til they pass and then muller them. Well I was doing this to one guy and it was the final lap and he was in front and I took him out from long range with machine gun on the final corner. I thought I'd given it away too!

When someone announced the lyrical thing I was kind of like 'ah I see'. I don't see what the big issue is. Basically it was just a little religious thing that needed to be taken out. I'm not offended easily, but you have to know that lots of people are. They probably only needed a patch but oh well, if it turns out to be released later then so be it.

Here is the place to discuss your most recent game sessions, what you've been enjoying, what has been a chore to play and any stuff like that. Sometimes after playing something you want to share some cool experiences so this is why I made the thread. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for me I've been playing the Orange box (out for all systems I believe) and in particular Half Life 2 Episode 2. I think the HL series is incredible, I've played through a lot of the 1st episode, and have completed the 2nd episode, and even though I still know little about the story the game is unbelievably good. It's been out for a long time but it doesn't matter in the slightest that it is dated a bit, because the puzzles and situations are all so engaging, you really have to play it to experience it. (The ending was intense as well - I had a browse through the commentary and it is very enlightening, even about the little tools and things they put in the game to make it work.) By stark contrast, I recently played a game called Hail to the Chimp, a PS3 demo and it was god-awful. Why anyone would buy that unless it were some sort of sick joke as a birthday present I don't know. It's basically just one REALLY crap minigame where you're these little freakish characters trying to collect clams. I've seen better graphics from the first PS.

Well done. I have seen you playing it a lot. Anyone think that Motorstorm demo was really good? I was quite surprised, seems quite different, some INSANE jumps and paths in the track shown, better than any of the original circuits. Just looks much better with it not being muddy. Still not sure if I wil pick up though because I still don't like the AI and limited boost.

I saw those sackboys on the Friday show but they looked crap. It wasn't much of an advertisement tbh, I bet nobody that hadn't heard of it before will remember what the game was.
