But you were on about playing a game for the first time originally, and what you just posted was about replaying a game. A game won't be as good te second time you play it (usually) of course, but it doesn't matter if you play Halo now or a couple years later. I kind of get what you say though, such as old graphics etc. Edit: scrap that I just misinterpreted you.

Sorry Sheikah, I'm not a fan of Dyson by any means but I thought he had a valid point. A couple of years age on a game means nothing. Although seeing that you have a 360 does disprove the last comment.

Ah wait I've got the restore thing going. Thing is, I don't actually think there is a major problem. I just played Half Life and it was fine, it's just when I set up my PSN account where things go funny. I'll see what the restore can do. Ok the restore seems to have done the system some good. My problem is that I've lost all my save data (apart from Snakeball *sigh*) because the stuff on the memory stick is corrupted. Now I'm wandering if there is any way of getting the data on the USB 'uncorrupted' or if I should just get full game completion files from gamefaqs.

Ok I think I'm going to do a system restore, I'm fed up of the problems I have had to face, I just hope that it fixes it. Backing up save data now. Kind of nervous. I know nothing can happen to my PSN games, my actual software etc but I'm edgy because what if this doesn't sort out the problems?

It's like these people want to complain about something for the sake of it. If they notice a religious lyric it's like they have to show everyone by complaining. I don't understand how it could be offensive.

The PS3 is fucked. I did that thing, had to re-enter online settings etc. But it's still acting weird. I can play games, but sometimes the icons freeze and when I try to quit a game I'm just met with a black screen. I didn't do that RESTORE FILE SYSTEM thing because I couldn't see that option and secondly I think it might erase the data I have.

This isn't funny, it is completely fucked up. When the icons do load, when I click on them it just freezes. Why? Why do this just as the great games start coming out?

The latest PS3 firmware update thing has killed my PS3. Sometimes when I turn it on the icons don't show up (the ones that have the spinny circle thing when loading), and even when it does, I choose to load WipeOut and it doesn't work. Fails to load. What The Fuck...

You have got to be kidding with that Sony 32" at that price. Surely that is an insane bargain?! Does 1080 p matter or not? Or is it more sought after for bigger T.Vs?
