  1. The original was amazing so I was slightly let down when I got ToD on the PS3, but then again that might've been nostalgia infecting my judgement.
  2. They had to talk about the PS Now stuff etc at some point but yeah, the second half dragged. No substantial exclusive this year either, if I'm not mistaken? The Order looks a bit more interesting. The winner of E3 this year was No Man's Sky in my opinion. If the footage isn't all smoke and mirrors then that team of four needs to be hired by Sony. Fantastic. Had there been gameplay footage of Blood Borne at the end, people would've been praising the conference. Alas, no such luck. Also, not keen on Sony's trend to make all these backhand DLC/content deals. That's what MS used to do, and it was infuriating back then. I'm all for their indie support, but not that. Invest in IPs guyz.
  3. That's still better than pulling the wool over our eyes. Watch Dogs didn't deliver as promised, and who knows if The Division will. Both received serious delays.
  4. I only saw her reaction to Rainbow Six, but it was unbelievably insincere. I gagged a little bit.
  5. Hope the new soundtrack is as much of a belter. NOMMAGE.
  6. Rainbow Six: Siege looks OK, seems to take some of the best things about the Terrorist missions from the other games, but make the shooting stuff a bit more casual and Cod-like (not cool). That presenter was horrendous though.
  7. The most disappointing aspect of the conference was the fact that there was minimal piss-taking material to be had. The guy with the shit t-shirt was about the full extent of it, and that pretty much spoke for itself. Let's hope Sony bumble around inbetween their gigaton announcements (if any).
  8. Tbh, we had a hilarious E3 last year with the new consoles, this one was always going to be a bit shit by comparison. Next year the new stuff with more protracted development schedules will show who's really cutting the mustard.
  9. For convenience: Live Stream (with text commentary below) http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-06-09-live-microsofts-e3-press-conference Pre-show starts 5.00pm, proper show at 5.30pm. I don't think they'd make that mistake twice. Scarred for life one would hope.
  10. One of the most brutal things I've seen on TV. Superb.
  11. E3 is under a week away, the World Cup arrives a few days after, and I've got no work to be getting on with before either. Life is good.
  12. I can confirm they are still working because I have recently been annihilating n00bs left, right and centre on Uncharted 3. All of the map packs are free now, and the lab mode has its own custom maps on top of that. Yummy. Also, because it bears repeating: the parkour aspect of the game (i.e. the way you can chain jumps between ledges so as to maintain momentum) is so fucking neat. Just one of those little touches from ND that make the multiplayer that extra bit special.
  13. Your balls will be blown off. I remember being somewhat in awe when I got my PS3, it was just so damn slick.
  14. Read it for my degree this year, it's divine. Nab a copy, it's not too long either.

The attempt to channel the dark red was a noble one but unfortunately it hasn't worked, Choze. Sorry to say it but, now more than ever, you sound like a decommissioned Sony FanBot that has somehow freed himself from core control and began to spit out unmediated radicalised guff. I don't think Sony would even have you any more.
  16. Anyone watched Frank ? Caught it at the Cornerhouse in Manchester the other day and really enjoyed it. Utterly unpredictable, genre-defying stuff with awesome musicianship and offbeat characters.
  17. E3. (New Order? Alas, the snippet we've seen has been a bit shitty)
  18. Why would Microsoft have saved the Kinect-less Xbox One announcement for E3 as if it were anything but a failure? I thought drahkon was joking.
  19. I don't think Microsoft necessarily regrets dipping their feet into the gaming pool. Nobody had any idea where games were headed back then, and we likely don't know the full extent of their potential application now. The technologies aren't restricted to the one sphere.
  20. Live from London: Arsenal open their trophy cabinet
  21. Does anyone else support one player? I support Messi because I just love seeing him do well. I basically follow the Spanish league because of him (Bale also, nice to see some British success too (no, not Welsh)).

Actually looks really good, the sky boxes are phenom.
  24. Well, I was banned from the Wii board ages ago and it carried over to all things Nintendo I suppose because the establishment couldn't handle my witty game critiques (think along the lines of: 'Lol, ExciteTruck? more liek Ex-Shite Duck! Hehhh!!!'). Not sure why I would pose a problem now though because there aren't any WiiU games to speak of. #NotDoingMyselfAnyFavours #OldHabitsNeverDie #PS4EliteCrew #Win I can't say I've been sorely missing those crack-pots anyway.
