  1. Tbh I think you'll be slightly disappointed by it. I'm just looking at it as a very entertaining and polished flash game that will last a couple of hours. I don't think it has the replayability of Stardust but I'd say I'll probably complete it a few times before it sits in the background.
  2. The patch hasn't really made the menus that much better, there's still slowdown on multiple d-pad presses. Oh well I guess I just want Fury to come out now.
  3. I must say I was surprised. Just went to sign in like normal and saw the error code and I was thinking, shit, this is a permanent ban. But a month isn't that bad and the situation I'm in helps make it less painful. And Shatter doesn't have a proper online component so all is good. Will probably complete it in one sitting though .
  4. Pretended to be a chav and saying stuff like 'She's my bitch' and 'Is your dad a baker? Because you have nice buns' etc.
  5. Lol this is bordering on epic but I managed to get my PSN banned for a month because i was fucking around on Home. Oh well, it's not like I can play disc games and it's Summer. I'll just have to use my other account if I feel like going online and I don't think there are any trophies for FURY that require you to go online. Still, it's kinda annoying. If for some reason you want to add me the ID is MattBandicoot64
  6. No because he thinks that hours mean value. I know people spend excessive amounts of time on it but it doesn't equate to value. It's just one factor.
  7. You lose, I'm sorry but again I will say again that hours don't mean everything. If you look at it in terms of length then obviously games come across better, but I'd still rather have watched The Dark Knight (or any great film) than play Cod for 200 hours. It's what you get from the experience.
  8. First off, it's pretty dumb to judge value on gaming hours. OK if the game is 2 hours long then that's a let down, but then again, if it was 2 hours it would probably had a lower price. Value should be based on enjoyment or the experience you had with the game. If you played it for 200 hours I'd say you're losing out because the game is forcing you to reach that ending unlock or stat, it's almost irresponsible to make Joe think that it's OK to spend all that time reaching the end. Plus you'd be kidding yourself if you enjoyed all 200 of those hours, I'd say almost half that time was frustration. And I always think it's insulting in a way that people think businesses don't operate for profit. The businesses deal with millions of pounds be it revenue or the value of the capital and you don't think they know what they're doing it for? Plus I'd like to think that some developers care about the quality of their games so it's understandable they like to spend a bit more on making sure that the standard is raised.
  9. I reckon the director told them to do that because they didn't realise how competant he was. It was dumb how they let this go as an exception as Webb said something like 'The mothers are reminded to choose the worst candidate next week.
  10. I like Robert Webb, but can't help but think Charlie Brooker would do an even better job. Not that he would do this seeing as it isn't his sort of programme with it being a mission-documentary and all. It can feel a bit boring in places, but I guess once you start watching it's hard to stop half-way through. When does it air?
  11. In anticipation I'm playing the best Flash, well the best brick game I've played, called Smashing. Man it's been a while since my first play of this, it's awesome & frustrating. The only thing I'm slightly worried about with shatter is that the actual playing field is quite small and the paddle is quite big, I'd rather it be a bit more expansive. Oh well can't knock it til I try it. Smashing: http://www.miniclip.com/games/smashing/en/
  12. IGN just gave it a 9 within the last hour, check out the review: http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/100/1005893p1.html The guy has obviously never played the iPod brick game Vortex and it isn't that detailed but a promising score.
  13. Well he must be a complete legend because he was playing Resistance online so I say well done to the lad. I'd like that $55000 he's potentially obtaining because then I'd know that I could just by another PS3 once the blu-ray reader thinks it's funny to burn itself.
  14. Well I don't think it really adds anything. OK this might be me being negative but I've happily lived without it and it'll just mean unneccessary finger-hurt from scrolling past non-important thanks messages. Sorry.
  15. What banter? I'm not saying that there's less discussion because of you but it's almost as if Other Consoles doesn't exist anymore. Maybe it's the lack of Choze KZ gifs because he's busy.
  16. I have a feeling this is going to get spammed on particular posts and be particularly annoying. (Yes I do want some early Thank points).
  17. Daft is back! Good news.
  18. Oh yeah they had that on IGN. It's actually quite an early release, it's going to be brilliant.
  19. That animal is awesome. I don't think it's real though.
  20. GTA IV vid - At the end I thought it said: Are you thinking "Ultra Ben Buja this is shit?" Which was why I wondered why they suggested me to watch the other one. A couple of parts were OK but kinda wasteful overall.
  21. Ah yes, that dog line was pure brilliance! Although thinking back the 'He's delighted' one was better even.
  22. Potter 6 (Lazy) I don't know what I think of it but I guess it was good/10 I feel quite satisfied with it as a film, I think it's better than the others and I chuckled most of the time. I also would say the jump moment more than matched the one in TDK. Anyway, I'm reading your conflicting posts and I don't really think I have an opinion really, which is weird. The whole thing sort of felt hollow as if it was missing tons of stuff from the book but what would I know since it's been ages since I read it? In the first couple of films, for me anyway, I was taken into the HP universe much more, it seemed more believable, whereas this almost solely concentrated on the main events, which is understandable. I kinda agree with the Daniel/Potter thing, it doesn't always seem right, whereas the others seem to fit their roles pretty well. Ginny isn't even fit. Lose. I would be in favour of them making multiple series with a mega budget that doesn't miss one thing from the book and maybe even adds more chapters to the backstory. I'd happily waste my time watching through hours upon hours of Potter lore that was done a bit more justice. If I were to give it a score, despite being a bit empty I'm pretty sure it was good so I'd give it a 7/10 P.S when Harry said to Dumbledore 'You've never really changed' or something like that, I was astonished he hadn't noticed the difference in appearance of him between years 2 & 3 of Hogwarts.
