The Captain Scarlet theme. I grew up with Gerry Anderson, and it's awesome.

There's rather too much visible on Atlas then I'm comfortable with.

Yes. The Spanish one I believe. PS. Tenner says Alonso replaces Raikkonnen next year.

Yep. Early season testing.

Loving this game so far. However, there something about some young female grunting for a few minutes before telling me "She couldn't feel it" which strikes rather too close to home. -

I'm loving this so far, the story is really interesting and the battles really make you work. That lass is wearing her shorts a rather gratuitous level though. -
You should probably just listen to Radio 4, period. The world would be a much more enlightened and understanding place if everyone did.

Just bought, I'll try it in a bit. This sort of game requires a clear mind. -
God, don't know how I puled a draw. My two best players are in the hospital until May, and I'm forced to use unorthodox tactics to fill the holes. Hopefully my new defender may make a difference. At least I've still got a chance of clambering out of relegation, but it's not looking good.

Oh bloody hell, how the hell am I even supposed to guess at who to vote for, there's about half a dozen solid pages of text arguing one way and the other.
-
Am I the only person who's a little concerned by the idea of fraking zombies running around the place? What's the voting at anyway?

Not a bad idea for emergency items actually. Maybe I'd better clean the oven first though, unless I want shirts that smell faintly like reheated curry lard.

I would if I had some people to have sex with. So sense wasting household energy for one task.

God dammit. I've been doing my washing this evening and not having a dryer or even an outside washing line is a pain in the backside. Fraking airing cupboard is fit to burst and it's impossible to get anything dry in less then three days. Can't wait until next year, I'll have both then.

Of course, that's why it's such a cheap format. You just hire a couple of writers for the auto cue stuff and let the banter take it's own course. My most memorable moment
-
Doh, there's too many games to buy. Just so many games.

I think the ground war playlist is my favourite, partially because the big team games keep you on your toes and add a little extra oomph to proceedings, and the domination game type treads a nice middle ground between tactical play and running gun battles. The more the merrier on team deathmatch also.

That kind of sci-fi is hardly 80's specific though, you could say Mass Effect is a cheesy sci-fi homage to any period, including today. Homage or not, all your ultimately producing is cheesy sci-fi when it could be so much more. I wouldn't worry, a lot of Mass Effects joy is in it's characters, and there are plenty of smaller plot details to enjoy. Besides, it's only the first in a story trilogy.

I know, I just thought it might be a bit different. There's nothing wrong with psychic planet eating robots from beyond, I just feel like there's plenty of room for more subtle futuristic plots that needn't rely on sheer scope to make it important to the player. Does the entire galaxy/human race always have to be at stake? Does it? Does it really?
-
Aggh. I have headache, I can't keep track of all of this.
-
Though I adore it, I reckon Mass Effect is partially guilty of the same thing. It starts out with you tracking down a rouge government agent turned terrorist, but the real culprits turn out to be PSYCHIC PLANET EATING MACHINES FROM BEYOND. And you just think "Oh... ah well."

Because your trustworthy and hard working employee who can be relied upon? Whatever, just put orange juice on his seat and make it look like he had an accident.
