Ooh, me and my bro have always wanted to go to Hong Kong. If you happen to see Jackie Chan there, get your brother to rub himself against him for my brother. Meanwhile... I'm over my writer's block. Yippee!

Good grief, a 5-0 win? Well, at least I'm out of the relegation zone. Certainly won't complain.

Narrgh! I've been trying to write something, anything today and break this horrid writer's block. It's like trying to shit a baby.

Risk is good, simple fun. The mission rules are the best thing to happen to it, stops games going on for a billion years before a clear winner emerges.

In the not so distant future mankind has been separated into two different classes of society, genetically modified humans and the non-modified underclass minority. Also "space suits" are the sort of thing you get out of Marks and Spencer. Unwilling to accept his lot in life, Ethan Hawke sets out to beat the system with the help of reclusive and disabled swimming champion Jude Law. It's generally just a great film, with subtle twists and complex relationships between the characters. My advice: Watch it at least twice.

I haven't played it, but that rather sounds like the standard Yaoi anime setup where they take a clearly hetreo character and do their best to inspire strange teenage girls to write "slash" fan fiction. Besides, I really want to see what would happen when bratish American teenage boys who haven't hit puberty yet suddenly discover their testosterone soaked hero of the hour has a brief make out scene with his "buddy." Just look at Gears of War for crying out loud. Sweaty, gurning, muscular men as far as the eye can see and only a single, asexual women on the whole blasted planet. I mean, come on...

Why aren't there any war games starring characters who are deliberately homosexual?

Wasn't last years basically a power point proving Nintendo has a bigger penis then anybody else?

Just following the others. Vote: Raining Again

I get the vague impression that someone in the National Mint is frustrated with his or her job. Honest to god, it's about all we've got to go on. Unless you're not English, in which case you've got your hatred of the English, but since most of the English hate the English too, that only goes so far these days.

Great stuff. "Hey Kirby, I'm an Australian for some reason!"

You should head down to Gamestation, they've literally got tons of games on their 2-for-£40 and £30 ranges. Also, just bought CoD4, which is probably overdue as it's one of the games that sold me the 360 in the first place. So far pretty solid stuff. And I think I know how to undersell things.

Brand new 360-SKUs They've ripped Nintendo off again!

Oh dear. Things aren't going well at all.

Leak to someone with some crazy ass blog about his cat and watch him rub it all in when he gets back at everyone who thought he was just blowing it all out his ass again.

With the introduction of Youtube tags, I feel this is in need of reposting. "How do you feel?" "INCREDIBLE!"

Looking over the league, I could win my next game, and still be in the relegation zone. Also, Ody would drop to the relegation zone if I were to beat him 6-0 and everyone between me and him won their game.

Apparently my landlord wants his flat back, so I'm being turfed out May 19th, which is mildly annoying as doesn't even seem worth finding alternative accommodation but it might be at least a couple of weeks before my course breaks for the summer. I need to pin down my tutor to get a solid date on when we do break, and getting straight info out of the man is like trying to wring the neck of a live electric eel.

I rather agree. They're good examples of graphics that are technically proficcent but are hideously dull and uninterresting to look at. Gears of War and "realistic" war games in particular. Washed out browns and greys? We invented colour TV for this?
-
It depends how you define graphical quality. In terms of raw techical power, Crysis obviously, for the best use of an engine I'd probably go for the likes of Half-Life 2. The latest EVE Online build is a simply remarkable visual achievment given it's relatively low specs, as is Mario Galaxy on the Wii. Games like Jet Set Radio, Team Fortress 2, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Paper Mario and their like will probably withstand the test of time better then most thanks to their outstanding visual design, rather then their technical prowess.
-
Also greatly anticipating this particular title. Co-op is surely where it will be up. Looks set to totally nail the atmosphere, but I'm already lining the corridors with auto guns against the idiots who will inevitably complain that the main assualt rifle's fire rate is slightly inaccurate to the film, or something.
-
I've lost against inferior sides at home though by some margin, while this time around your squad didn't even get a single shot in. That's what I don't get.
-
OK, what? I can't beat the likes of Mcoy and Dysnoism FC, but the league leaders barely mount a stable challenge? This game is just taking the piss now.
