Not a bad episode, though I will confess I was begging the Doctor to bash Donna's head in with a pipe when she started freaking out at the end. To put her out of her misery. I also enjoyed the fact that's it's actually impossible for her to ever come back, or she'll explode.

In fairness, it was either Earth or all of reality. Since we'd be buggered either way in that situation, that's a hit I feel the Earth could probably stand to take. You know, "For the team."

It wasn't too bad, just locked up a couple of times in the second sector on his final effort, and we've seen how handy he can be from the second row of the grid. His car seems to be in excellent form as well.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Captains Log: Professor Moriarty came alive on the holodeck and took over the ship again. Sometimes I wonder why we keep the thing online, all it does is try to trap and kill my crew, or else gets used to capture control of the ship. Endless stress. Then again that new Turkish Bath program I downloaded is a nice distraction during my *cough* downtime. Speaking of which, I wonder if Wesley got my flowers?- 3920 replies

Excellent effort from Webber there, blustery conditions seem to be catching a few people out. Overall weekend form tending towards the McLarens at the moment, but we'll see what the weather throws up tomorrow. Should be a good race.

Well apparently this mysterious "private investor" has £100mil to invest, and I suspect probably had a bit more on top of that to stump up front, which the Silverstone management simply didn't. I don't doubt the circuit will be up to a world class standard by 2010, but it's always going to be my hunch that this was about the greens up front. They say Bernie's hard to please, but it's not hard to figure how with enough "investment."

When I was about five or so I got lost in a deep forest, and then a massive thunderstorm suddenly blew up. I was there for hours before it finally blew over and I found my way onto the road and found my family again. Luckily I had somehow gotten lost with all four of the family dogs, so at least I had some defence against any Scottish timber wolves that might have been marauding nearby, or worse, the viscous bucktoothed haggis, which are famed defenders of their hunting territories.

Get rid of my asthma and eczema and I'd be all set. Any other problems are eminently plausible, ie. should I grow a beard/get an all-over body tattoo/buy a range of hair dye's and an afro comb.

No more Silverstone after 09. I have mixed feelings about this. I suppose we can't complain because we still have a Brit GP but Silverstone is one of the best circuits in the calender and has so much history. Also I'll bet my teeth this has at least as much to do with coughing cash up front for the privilege as it does providing the facilities.

This reminds me of something: Happy birthday!

Coulthard is retiring. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/drivers/7487186.stm Man, I suppose we were expecting it soon but it is the end of an era. Barrichello is the last of the old guard now. I grew up with Coulthard's career, right from when he partnered Hill in 94 after Senna. Best chin in the sport too.

It's not going to happen. It's not been not happing for about five years now. They might get most of them to agree but David Schwimmer actually has his own career. It was a good sitcom, but lets not start molesting this corpse just because somebody finally convinced Matthew Perry he's just not character actor material. Or leading actor material. Or actor material.

A gaming comic about two men and girl living with a robot made out of an Xbox isn't the ideal place for a plot about miscarried children. You may as well use the Beano to discuss child molestation.

Nothing a drunken couple of hours by P&O can't remedy. Stumble over to the bar, next thing you know your lying face down in a pool of your own vomit outside the European Parliament in front of dozens of reporters getting ready for a state visit. Barack Obama will be there next week. You could make a day of it and vomit on him.

A lot of horror games can really get to me for some reason, FEAR and all the isometric Resies (Resi'?) primarily. I actually hit the roof when the Licker comes through the glass in Resi 2.

I do love my friends. Well, love is strong word, but not inappropriate. Catching up with them in between college semesters is weird, all my friends have changed so much - some have evolved along expected paths, while others have moved off onto insane tangents. Spending time with friends helps you examine yourself I find. No! These are moments for momentous celebration!

Murray did as well as anyone could really, he's still so young and nothing is going to take down Nadal any time soon. I don't like Nadal myself, he has the play style and charisma of an automated ball cannon. -
