I've had my ups and downs, but I count myself very lucky. I live in a free and prosperous country, I have a loving family, enough education to see me by, reasonably good health blah blah etc and so on. I'm not a billionaire F1 racing champion astronaut heading up my own, incredibly devoted sect formed from Christian and Buddhist philosophies (and polygamy), but the Job Centre said all those positions were taken already. Can't have everything. Yet. -
Palin's hubby has been called to testify in the ongoing investigation to see if she abused her power and sacked someone for not sacking her sister's ex. I really like EVE, but all the criticisms he leveled at it were completely fair I feel. Especially about the rather terrifying social commitment it demands for large player run corporations. The one big barrier between me and all MMO's really.

As far as I'm aware, McCain could a pretty militaristic leader, but he does oppose using torture methods against terrorist suspects, such as water boarding.

Old age is a problem with McCain though, especially with Palin as his VP. As I've said, I don't mind McCain but I don't want the risk of some crazed gun toting evangelist like Palin taking the wheel. As Frankie Boyle on Mock the Week put it:

Looking at it again, I fail to see how Lewis failed to give up the advantage. Kimi even had time to line up a defence for the next corner. And then Kimi overtook Lewis under waved yellows. Where's his fine for a ham sandwich?
