  1. You don't actually have a youth team, it's just how the game explains giving you supple young men to mold and kneed to your whim.
  2. In fairness, when your job is dealing with drunks all night you might be forgiven the odd slip of the tongue. She probably meant to say 80, or was being sarcastic or somesuch other occurrence. Stripogram?
  3. I love PlusNet myself, their download speeds aren't very fast but they're the best if you like to play a lot of online games - reasonably low ping and a stable connection every time.
  4. Gah. Eenuh's cat reminds me of a dog I once had who got hit by a car when I was very young. He did like to adventure. T'wasn't a pleasant day.
  5. Of course Bourdais was trying hard, they were racing for position. Bourdais had every right to defend his inside line, gave Massa plenty of room and as you point out Massa could've passed easily soon after anyway, so why did he try it there? The stewards really have been incompetent at best this year.
  6. Face-palming stockbrokers blog anyone? http://brokershandsontheirfacesblog.tumblr.com/page/1
  7. Decent report. Seven bars positive overall, though only a very small improvement from my three youngest squad members is slightly disappointing.
  8. But Bourdais had just exited the pit lane, and had nowhere to go unless you expected him to throw himself into the right hand tyre wall. He's right up on the kerb as it is when Massa hits him. Penalising Bourdais rates as easily the crappiest stewarding decision in years, Spa 08 and all.
  9. Hardly a thriller, but there is something oddly pleasant about Lewis actually winning a race without some kind of extraordinary controversy or circumstance mixing it all up.
  10. I love these truther types, they're totally batty. But don't mind me, I'm just the helpless pawn of a viscous government conspiracy. Every morning I take a whiz, and somebody somewhere in the world dies. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
  11. Me and my house mates formed a five-a-side footy team today. We called ourselves "Whales". We were quite pleased with ourselves.
  12. I haf told ze team zat falure vill not be torrerated again! Even ze great Herr Odwin shall notzand in mein way! Ze trophy shall be mein! You shall zoon fear ze great Scharvierundsechzig!
  13. Ah well, I suppose Oddy suffering yet another unlikely defeat was my only hope. Bloody close though. I'll get it next season!
  14. No it didn't.
  15. Good news, the French Motorsport Federation has decided not to hold the French GP next year. One less craptacular car procession to sit through. If there are any alien mother ships who want to abduct the Hungary circuit now, we'd all be most obliged. Maybe Valencia will sink into the sea or something if we're really lucky. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/71421
  16. Happy Birthday Brain Twin!
  17. I think you may as well argue playing with Duplo is like laying brick and mortar.
  18. Everyone knows Lewis isn't overrated though. He edged out Alonso, a reigning twice world champion, in an identical car in his debut season, and was extremely unlucky to loose the championship by a single point. How could he possibly do so if he wasn't obvious championship material? Look at Kovalinen by comparison, struggling to score podium finishes.
  19. I'm not sure a race car tuning simulation is really comparable to an open world vehicular adventure game where you can build jet propelled amphibious pickup trucks that shoot torpedoes.
  20. I think it's still often forgotten that the pressure faced and level of skill required by Hamilton so early on in his F1 career is almost unprecedented. His mistakes in Japan betrayed his age, but he's grown a lot this season and what doesn't kill him will only make him stronger.
  21. They do the same thing with the Australian broadcast, they buy in the British race commentary. I suppose it makes sense where it's more of a minority sport. I agree the apparent progress made by Renault near the end of the season has been remarkable. It's clearly not just fortunate race results either, judging by their recent practice and quali results. Alonso might still be shrewd to go with Honda who I would expect to have a development advantage over the pack going into 09, but why try and fix something that's getting less and less broken? Also agree that Hamilton is still the man to beat. He had a bad race clearly, but Massa also failed to make this the game changer it could've been. Both are clearly keenly feeling the pressure.
  22. I'm still backing Hamilton, but is anyone else tempted to nip down to the bookies tomorrow and put a fiver on the outside chance that Kubica takes the championship?
  23. What a simply mad, crazy race. Alonso and Kubica richly deserved those points. Stewards were harsh but fair with both drive throughs I felt, though I'm not sure why exactly they chose penalise Bourdais. If the last two races are like this I think I'm going to develop some kind of epileptic slow-fit.
  24. Excellent qualifying session, shame Massa couldn't quite stick it where he needed it. Good to see Kovi in a position to help Hamilton, he really needs to show his worth as a teammate right now.
