Hid grid walks are great, they show a side to that sport close up that isn't all dressed up, and produce some great moments because he keeps catching people unawares. He seems to have this weird battle of wits going on with Bernie at the moment, who has recently taken to pawning him off against a local dignitary at every opportunity. In their most recent clash: "Bernie, quick word?" "This is the Prime Minister of Singapore, Martin." "Another one? You've stiffed me on Prime Ministers before Bernie."

Wow, that was a pretty crazy race, Ferrari completely self destructed. I think we can tick Singapore off as one of the better recent additions to the calender. What a great season it's been, that makes Alonso the seventh individual winner this year I think? He got lucky but there's no denying his class.
