The voice chat situation had put me off, it's no longer a day one purchase. If the online experience is smooth then I'll get it. If it's even half as bad as Brawl was I'll not bother.

I've only cleared act 1 on this but I've had more fun on it than I had in the entirety of the campaign on The Last of Us. It's also much better than Sonic Lost World, which I'm fairly sure isn't a computer game DVD but just a thin round slice of turd that you insert into your machine. Awful game, god awful!

That'll be my 3rd Exotic Handcannon, alongside Thorn and Hawkmoon. Oh man, The Last Word can be fired by holding down the trigger and the character repeatedly hits the hammer on the gun to fire rapidly from the hip, classic Western style!

I guess that's a no then Serebii? You can't actually show that's it has much of an effect, at least one that isn't negligible.

As long as you don't turn into Serebii and defend Nintendo and argue against those who sometimes put up fair, if negative, comments.

If you don't mind, please do... but rather than just say why, please back your argument up with actual figures showing just how much of an effect voice chat has on a game. You see, I just don't see that it would have too much of a detrimental effect on the game. Also, without being able to chat to my friends, multiplayer games just feel a little soulless. They're not worse per se, but they're not as fun!

He shouldn't have lied. It was the E3 2011 interview with Geoff Keighly I think, he said it would have online features on par with the other consoles, he was even asked about voice chat and he blatantly said it'd be there. That's a lie. On a positive note though. Zelda and Xenoblade look incredible and interest me more than any other games on any console (is that better?).

Haha. I can't, my PS4 is in a different room to my WiiU and the Gamepad won't work in any other rooms in my apartment... even if it's no more than 6ft from the console with just the one wall inbetween.

What my PS4 has done for my thoughts on my WiiU is absolutely nothing at all. What my Xbox 360 did for my thoughts on the WiiU is make me angry at Nintendo's blatant lies to us about online and 3rd Parties as well as pity the console for being backwards in regards to it's features. Particularly voice-chat. There's the tragedy. A console released back in 2005 was better in this regard than the WiiU. It's simply got to a point for me where I don't even want to play the multiplayer games on the console. Mario Kart online? It feels soulless without voice chat. Smas Bros online? I'm betting it'll feel the same to me. Splatoon... again, without voice chat I'm just not interested. These 3 games were games I was looking forward to. I was looking forward to laughing and joking with my friends whilst playing because that's fun. As I'm looking to games I want to get for my WiiU, they're all single player experiences now, Bayonetta 1&2, Zelda and Xenoblade... but that's about it, I can't think of anything else at all now. Here's hoping for a Metroid. What I'll be doing soon is trading some games in to fund for my PS4 games, including MK8... I just don't play it because of the lack of voice chat.

Urgh... I just might not get this now, it's just not worth buying given the amount of time I'll put into it. I knew it'd be the case but I held out some hope. Tragic.

Up against a team that communicates well you'd think differently.
