Cheers! I loved it as soon as I saw sometime ago...Im so happy The Switch has gotten proper FF love....A momentous occasion for me.

For me, this is a historic moment in gaming for me... a core Pokemon game I can experience on the big screen...I'm playing through the wholegame with the pokewalk plus and will proudly go on my Pokemon GO walks with it in hand (on my days off work 16th and 19th!)

Same with me... Sadly though, my love stopped with the series when they left turn-based. I REALLY wanted to get into FF13...But that battle system...:/....Reckon we'll get 13?

Funny, I had a strong want to check out old video reviews of battle Revolution...Something about the battle music, while underwhelming, was soothing. I have a severe Pokemon addiction, so i was that guy who bought this at £50 and tried my best to beat the CPU with the rental pokemon you get after winning each battle...A strong 5-6/10 game...But it shows how strong the franchise is. I know for a fact the Lets Go series will sell very well, regardless of the online annoyances.

Am I the only one absolutely overjoyed for this?! Been meaning to back to 100% both but my pc specs didn't allow for the Steam version. 10 is my favourite game, owing to the tactical turn based battles, addictive Bliztball league, compelling story, cool aeons (Anima). Happy to replay 7 and 9 too - but I stopped at 12 when they ditched the turn based which was sad. But to me, for how small that segment of the Direct was...these were monumental announcements. The great irony for me is squaresoft debutting FF7 on a CARTRIDGE based Nintendo system. XD I'm happy.

With regards to Hyrule feeling empty...I personally loved it. I formed some sort of connection playing alone, while Link traverses the landscape alone. This is major reason why to me BOTW has a tranquil, near spiritual affect on me and why I'm so eager to replay through it. If I couldn't climb, paraglide early, fast travel, find many different items etc. Then I would feel it to be big for no real reason. But the wildlife, fauna etc and finding rare items made it feel worthwhile....while experiencing beautiful moments like having a dragon appear and that enchanting theme play. Wind Waker Hyrule is a perfect example of being large for no reason and Termina is the perfect size when there is nothing to do in the overworld.

Celebi, cool. But like my Mew, Im guessing itll just be hidden amongst my other 1500CP mons. Caught a shiny Wailmer yesterday...yay.

I loved the music... Stand outs include: Gerudo Town, the divine beasts on the different phases (esp Vah Nabooris...that theme was sexy), Guardian music, Shrine Tower and Shrines....Man I loved the Shrine music even though it gets reptitive and there are even subtle differences between the proper shrines and 'gift' shrines... God damn I love this game.

Bwahahaha...Thats exactly how I "finished" BOTW. I was really trying to conquer the castle with the thought that I'll head out with all the treasure and come back for Ganon once I've done everything... But just stumbled in that room and set off the sequence. I didnt really expect to beat Ganon, but used the very last bit of food to power through... Good times.
