Zealous? A good number of people who said they would not did buy it. I've here almost a decade, I would have hoped my character and intentions would have been acknowledged. Either way, I wish to ask to be deleted from this forum. I really can no longer tolerate the drawn out battle grounds/club thing that seems to be going on. Peace.

Ok good - so the discussion was your pupils felt there were no games on the Switch, you posted in a discussion board - my side of the discussion was simply to say as someone who owns the console I do not feel that way at all. I would have thought that was mature and meaningful enough as I would imagine that an opinion from someone who actually owns something people are critiquing would be of some merit. You claimed I only accept ultra positive views, but I have stated I have been very vocal about the lack of launch titles and some hardware issues. I would like to believe since I hold no extreme views for or against Nintendo, that this was a meaningful discussion.
-
Okay lets not have any discussion at all then and just post varied views without a counter-argument.
-
No. Not at all. I've been pretty frank with my opinion on what I call a fact that the Switch's launch was weak. But as someone who actually owns the system, I do not feel like there are no games to play. Pretty simple.

(But there are 200 channels with something worth watching...) But I take your point. In no way trying to patronise, I just can't help but feel - if Im being honest - that its your current opinion of Nintendo at the moment - that makes you more inclined to agree with such a statement. But anyway...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

But the weather system is random so I doubt thats what its there for. With the sensor, I walk in 4 directions to see when it beeps and following the direction it beeps the most and Im usually right. -
How old are they? [Edit: 10 year olds] While its brilliant raising the topic with pupils surely we must take comments such as "There are no games for it" with a pinch of salt as by definition that statement is false. When I was a 10 year old, I was more than happy/thankful with my console at the time and the one or two games I did have - for the fact that Im not paying for them. Im not sure if I can agree with the above statement especially when there are games available now.

Thus they are ignorant children.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

Then do something else in the meantime. Thats the beauty of this game for me - and there are many things to do. I wonder where @darkjak is? -
Couldn't have said it better. Glad you're enjoying it as much as I am. I think this game is a great example of when to allow a game to be delayed. This is the PERFECT Zelda - everything I've always wished it to be. Multiple things to do, multiple towns, expanded lore and history, a race that has mostly only been represented by one or two people, items put to good use on a regular basis... I could go on. SS I didn't feel like completing, TP I completed in like 3 days and never went back to - But this game... Im probably over 40 hours in and I haven't done much yet feel fulfilled to the point of actually holding back putting on the Switch today because I know its going to sap time. Nintendo's practices are mostly questionable with regards to their hardware but when they make stuff like this I cant help but forgive their trespasses.

I think it's a superb idea. The dynamic weather is outstanding. The fright you get from thunder and the panic when your gear starts gaining static... Hoping Pikmin 4 gets this. -
I agree. The Switchs launch was an open invitation for an easy profit. You can see the developers behind FAST are raking it in by the speed of their announcement of the patch to allow friend races. With the low sales of RE7 across the board, for example, would have been boosted by a Switch port for launch, no matter how inferior the port. Though could be Nintendo's fault with the late dev kits.

Had some LOLs yesterday with the games we didn't touch yet: Telephone, Shaver and Fake draw... That Fake Draw loool.
-
I've got it. Its def worth it. Im thinking maybe its a bit too fast (lol) but there is no real emphasis on braking as opposed to the switching boost mechanic. Looking forward to the update for friend races.

LOL. Everyone has a unique story. Does anyone else feel sheer terror when those guys randomly appear? (keeping it non spoiler)... The smaller guys are fine and have good prizes but the bigger ones... Reminds me of the advice that dude gave Neo when ever he sees an agent...RUN! (but evening running might not save you). In these instances though I find the fast travel a bit cheap. I feel it should be inactive during battle.

I paired it with my PC and set up the button config, but it wasn't working in the Steam game (the controller lights were still acting as if they were looking to pair)... Though Im sure theres a way.
-
Ah... (What does that mean??)
-
LMAO I knew it was coming. Damn hackers. News gets weirder and weirder... Has anyone tried connecting their pro controller to PC? I wanna give pro evo a go with it.

Will Nintendo Return To E3 Presentations In 2017?
Falcon_BlizZACK replied to ReZourceman's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Im thinking after the Switch presentation they will relax their on stage presence a bit... Im not too bothered really; a video stream of games is enough for me. And at least without a live presentation gamers won't moan about translation issues and the like. -

Damn that volcano is daunting to travel up, I only just made it to the Shrine in the last few seconds so I didn't have to venture up it again without the neccesities. Love how they replicated the realism of going up a volcano. This is no friendly walk up a hill. -
Yeah, even the difference between grip and handheld mode is noticeable - its the contours of the grip and pro controller that make it feel better (for me) - in handheld I find it to be too flat for intense games like Zelda, but fine with lower input games like Snipperclips (and games like Pokemon especially...ohh, cant wait for that beauty).

Ultra Street Fighter 2 - The Final Challengers (2017)

Its a bit too arcadey and low-res for my tastes, but definitely worth the £6. -
Ultra Street Fighter 2 - The Final Challengers (2017)

I downloaded King of Fighters to see how the joycons vs pro controller perform in anticipation for this game... Trying to do Kyo's Ryu-like hadoukens were a pain with the joycon d-pad and I probably had a success rate of about 4/10 - The pro controller is definitely the way to go! The response is spot-on and my success rate in firing that attack was on-command, at least 8/10 (for my own skill level). I hope they sell a joycon with a proper d-pad (if they bundled it with this game that would be superb).
