  1. Gotta agree, as interesting and well thought-out this may be, I fear it will be too much. But we shall see about that. It's interesting, though, that we get the information through the write-up, and that the roles themselves aren't a secret. I personally like this approach, though as mentioned I fear the write-up is a little too long. If it works or not, we shall see, but I'm positive I will enjoy this game. :)

Anyway, can we deduce from the letter taken from the postman by Pete the piano player that the postman is good? It seems like the letter was from the postman himself to jayseven, in which case it could seem like a confirmation of his alignment. It also seems there was another letter confirming someone as good, but due to the postman's drunkenness, it seems it wasn't delivered. If we can find out who the letter was from or to, we may be able to confirm someone else as good.

  2. "Languages can certainly differ from each other in unpredictable ways, but the differences are not without limits." Discuss.

My subject is so awesome. :awesome:

    : peace: Awesome!

  3. Relationships irritate me nowadays. Everybody wants their own personal soap story. Too many people have watched Eastenders, etc.

This is probably true to an extent. I know personally that my view on relationships has been "twisted" by soaps and films.

Also, welcome to the forum. :) And let me compliment your choice of the most fucked-up Roman emperor there ever was. :p

  4. The next village along from mine is an RAF base (Halton) so I'd probably drive there, flash someone and get them to fly me to safety.

Note to self: Become a pilot at RAF Halton ...

Anyway, I think many people are forgetting the panic factor. Imagine how most people in the world would react to this. I don't think gathering supplies etc. is going to be that easy when the world panics. Unless, of course, that the world takes this as seriously as it did the swine flu.

Anyway, if the zombies are as slow and brain-dead as they are depicted in most films, I imagine someplace high and inaccessible would be the best place to seek refuge. And regarding the weapons and having the necessary skills, I hardly think you need to be a master swordsman to decapitate a zombie - they're not exactly Bruce Lee. The close combat risk of getting infected is worth to consider, though long range weapons would require more skill. I find it a hard dilemma.

  5. £50 max is pretty difficult dude. Maybe Iriver E100 would be good for you. that Supports both ID3 tag and tree folder music sorting.

I think you can get the 4GB version for under £50 these days.

The E150 would be better if you can find it also try and find the Iriver E50. Just remembered SanDisk Sanza Fuze. You can get 2GB for £30-£40.

    Check this review.

Thanks, dude. I'll look into it. :)

  6. How much do you wanna spend and what how much storage do you need?

By song sorting are you saying you dont want a player that sorts music by ID3 tags? You would rather use the tree folder layout?

Well, the price and storage capacity are not too important as I've mentioned, but to set some limits: I will prefer at least 2GB of storage, and I will at max pay £50 - and then it has to be good!

When I say song sorting, I mean that I can decide exactly what order the songs come in. I want to be able to rearrange the order of the songs, and it would also be great to be able to make subfolders for playlists. I don't want the MP3 player to sort the songs automatically, even if it is alphabetically or by artist etc. The MP3 player I have know sorts them randomly, it appears, though I think it is based on when the file was last edited.

  7. do you know how to use either? do you even own any? know anywhere/ anyone with either?

Danny, I'm afraid you're just not thinking this through. put some real effort in or I'm afraid you'll end up as a walking corpse in no time.

that said, you may do anyway. I simply don't think you can grow a cool enough beard to really get on in a post apocalyptic scenario.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. It's better than nothing, and I really can't imagine myself hiding in a closet.

But you're right, I can't grow a cool beard. I already have one.

  8. Trust me, it always tends to be the way of the people on N-E. People will be all up for an idea and then just drop out without notification. You should see the mafia games, or Xpert 11 every season.

'Tis a shame, really. There are so many fun and imaginative happenings on here, and people really get to know each other.
