  1. I remember the Turtles action figures, and Lego was always a hit, but ...

My toys never had brands, they were just random figurines and teddy bears and such,

This was by far my favourite though.

... THIS takes the prize! I LOVE stuffed toys (still have a bunch of them - there's even still a few in my room), and my Pikachu was and is undeniably my favourite. He's sitting on my shelf, pretty dirty and worn from the many years I've had him, and I'd probably be pretty devastated if something happened to him.

  2. My parents have told me that had I been a girl, they'd have named me Heidi. Had I not been a boy, I'd been a Dutch blonde with pigtails. :heh:

For the record, I think Heidi is a pretty name. It's just associated with a stereotype in my mind.

  3. I think "kudos" is better than "like" because sometimes I like to show appreciation to something that nobody should like, for example; ell's post in the "why life sucks" thread. No reason to like divorce, but I felt it deserved kudos for sympathy.

Ehmm, "kudos" don't have anything to do with sympathy. It's praise or renown.

  4. Just to say that if a post solely has that image in, or doesn't contribute in anyway to the thread, then it's just going to get deleted.

Spoilsport. You just don't WANT us thanking people more! It's an admin conspiracy! You're afraid all the extra thanks will give the members so much confidence that they'll overthrow the admins!

And to be fair, I've seen much less contributive posts on these forums.

  5. You realise they're essentially infinite right? In actuality, I think memory limits them to being about 6-8 times the surface of Earth (assuming one square = one metre), but that's not exactly a limitation anyone is going to reach. :heh:

Oh, yes, I realise that, but it's hard for our brains to process the concept of infinite, so you only really get a feeling of the potential scale when watching a video like the one above. :heh:

  6. Biomes:

    rainforest

    temperate rainforest

    seasonal forest

    forest

    savanna

    shrubland

    taiga

    desert

    grass desert

    ice desert

    tundra

    Apparently not final yet:

Looks awesome! This video really gives you an impression of how flippin' huge the Minecraft worlds are! Also note the morning and evening red now present at sunrise and sunset.

look what you lot made me do... now i'm £8.96 down! =P

    Mwahahaha! :D
