I agree with all of this. Apart from the child actors, as I thought the MiB kid was actually okish. If they don't explain anything about the crazy woman, what the light is ect then I shall be most disappointed. Also: it's become apparent just how much they are making thigns up, or at least changing their minds, over the years. My theory is that at one point they had Walt and Aaron lined up to succeed Jacob and MiB then decided against that storyline and pretty much wrote Walt out of the show. But Adam and Eve was indeed the biggest failing of the episode.

I'm listening to the one you put on the playlist (btw kids, keep it going!!) and I love it. The CD's been laying in my kitchen (my dad's) but I've avoided it because of that awful cover art. Looks like something a pre-GCSE kid knocked out on powerpoint. I guess that's the point but, really..

Wowzas!! That came out really well for a faux-HDR shot. What program did you use for it? The derelict pictures are also really cool. Apparently there was a massive empty olympic sized swimming pool that they gave up on building halfway through, near where I live, but it's been closed off now I think.. York photos

What have I read of late? Read House of Sleep which had one of the best premises I've seen and was an interesting read, though not as enjoyable as other Coe, read Chris Killen's The Bird Room which started off really interesting but by the end the short snappy prose lost started to grate and such. Finally got around to About a Boy which was vintage Hornby, very good, Girlfriend in a Coma by Coupland which was utterly bizarre and generally intensely depressing, particularly in it's first half. This Book Will Save Your Life was brilliantly enjoyable if more than slightly bizarre... can't say it saved my life but it's still a fave, read Kermode's autobiography of sorts, amusing, not as good as if he were reading it out himself, and just finished Apples by Richard Milward which whilst not mindblowing was pretty well written and it depressed me that he was only 19 when he did so...

Probably Lib Dem, though I was considering a last minute swap back to labour And as for the poster, the one I saw was Also, question: The one thing I don't understand about the whole thing is in the event of a hung parliment (likely) with Torys getting the most seats, would Cameron become prime minister only unable to effectively do anything without coalition, or would Gordon stay in power unless he resigns? Who's pulling an allnighter?

That would have been utterly epic. Harpenden Hitchen is probably about as safe conservative as it gets. Nice response poster to the painful Sun one that's out today. I shall I think be voting Lib Dem, they're likely to get re-elected in my constituency (which is largely students) so yeah. Awesome sauce. Though I was tempted to turn back to labour...

are you one of those people who wear shorts and flip flops all year round? Tbf I always wear flip flops these days. Maximum comfort. As for trainer socks, I always wear them, maximum comfort, though they look stupid with jeans, for which I am constantly mocked.

I did see someone describe 'it making the hangover look good' but then I did quite enjoy The Hangover. Id say see it, trailer looks amusing. Rewatched Nick and Norah, which I just love despite slight crapness. Fancy the pants off Norah. Rewatched Adventureland with a friend, which I still love also, even if Kristen Stewart or whatever is slightly less fanciable. Watched Almost Famous which wasn't quite as good as I thought it would be but still amused.

Following practically 2 allnighters in a row I just woke up after 15 hours of sleep. 15 hours of sleep!! Jeesus. Though this achievement aught to be posted.

But of course! TVotR are endlessly brilliant. Should really get listening to more of Animal Collective given that I love My Girls. As for !!!, they're a band I've always meant to check out but I've always been thwarted by not working very well with google and such. I think one of the guys from !!! plays in LCD if I'm not mistaken.

Finally got around to watching that gingers video by MIA. As a ginger I was stunned. Good shit. Love how they're putting in the effort with music videos these days in general. It was, it was, and I agree very much. God, he says it'll be their last album, right shame to see em go. Can't wait to see them again at Reading. Setlist was perfect too. Im such an LCD fanboy these days it's stupid. Reviewing the album for the student rag. Which incidentally I would have got music editor of had I applied, apparently. Upsetting. Could get worse, one of the 4 big labels were meant to be pulling out.... doesn't seemed to have happened yet tho, touch wood. Anyway, new Spotyfy is fucking fullofwin. Anything I ask and more. Sliightly too cluttered for my liking but can't really complain. Nice they've batched up the adverts recently so they're longer but less frequent. Anyone up for getting another NE playlist going? As we now know who added what and such?
