  1. I must admit, I've never had problems with the amazon marketplace. I ordered a copy of Vexx for the gamecube off there about 6 weeks ago, worked perfectly fine, definitely not an illegal copy, manual stank of cigarette smoke, but otherwise it was perfectly fine. I guess I'm in a minority there, then.
  2. I'll admit, I didn't like the Metroid Prime series at first, I got bored of the first one after about an hour. However, I must admit I was an FPS-hater a while ago, I guess I've just become more open-minded since I first played it, considering I loved the second one right up to the point at which my bro took it away to Uni.
  3. That's one point I'm not gonna disagree with you on, but for now I'm just gonna live with whatever music I enjoy, and I enjoy MCR. P.S. I never said I enjoyed everything, I just have a fairly varied taste.
  4. That's where my vote would have gone. Still, the price is ridiculous...
  5. Well, I guess I'm gonna have to agree to disagree musically with you. I'm sorry, but I like Hammerfall and MCR, and the last three years of people telling me they're shit hasn't changed my mind, so a person I barely know really isn't gonna change my perspective that much. P.S. gay really doesn't sound that offensive to someone who is. Calling it "gaymmerfall" only makes me like it more...
  6. All I was saying is my music taste ranges through Metal, Emo, Pop, even Classical. I really don't know what the hell I am when it comes to music. In my eyes, music falls into 3 categories: stuff I like, stuff I don't like, and stuff I haven't heard. Oh, and give MCR a break. I think they're getting better. I definitely preferred Black Parade over their other two ablums.
  7. The Slipknot was a reference to a band that screams, I wasn't saying they were metal. Meh, I don't care. Dragonforce FTW all the way, as far as I'm concerned. Plus, I said more of a metalhead, and I wasn't entirely sure of myself when I typed it. My music taste is so varied, if I listed my whole music collection and asked for opinions on what I am, most answers would probably come back "freak". My music collection ranges through Judas Priest, Dragonforce, Loituma (A Finnish folk band), Strawberry Flower (composers of the Japanese Pikmin theme), My Chemical Romance and Within Temptation. Want to try and define my music taste?
  8. I have to put Final Fantasy & GTA up here. I've only ever finished the Nintendo spin-offs of FF (tactics, crystal chronicles), and I just got bored of GTA when I couldn't understand a word anyone was saying. I think it was English, but I wouldn't have known when hearing it...
  9. I tend to use torrents to get music videos. No problems so far.
  10. Urgh...I can't be doing with screaming. Oh, and does listening to gay metal make any difference if you are gay? Sorry, but give me Dragonforce over Slipknot any day...
  11. I wouldn't get rid of one if you gave it to me, but I'm not prepared to go out and spend £400 on a console that only has 5 games on it that I'd actually be interested in.
  12. I'm a bit more of a metal-head myself: Dragonforce, Rhapsody of Fire, Manowar and Hammerfall to name a few. Any other crazed metal-heads out there?
  13. So...what about MGS4? You know, the game's advertised as "simultaneous worldwide release", and I'm guessing that Hideo Kojima isn't American, meaning they're delaying the launch of one of the few decent PS3 exclusive games in America and Japan, just to say they're launching simultaneously? Oh, and what about Blue Dragon, come to think of it. A late August launch for America, an early September launch here? That just screams "5-months worth of localisation" to me... I'm sorry to pick holes, but this seems like something of a problem Nintendo needs to deal with. I can just see the speech at next year's E3: "Here at Nintendo, we make games for everyone. Except Europeans." Possibly a controversial opinion on a Nintendo forum, but if nobody argued the other way, we'd all turn into fanboys, and that's the last thing anyone wants.
  14. Being envious of my mum for breaking 1 million points on Sonic 1 for the Master System. Sad thing is, she doesn't play anything more than Countdown now, despite having a PS2 of her own (which she's had for about 5 years and has used twice)...
  15. What?! I loved the Dueling Dragons, I really hope they don't change it too much...
  16. Really? I haven't seen them since I last went to America. I know some places do import them, but you need a freeloader bowl and spoon... I'm serious, though, I've found websites where you can import American foods.
  17. Yay, I'm not the only one that hated Dark Yabu! I actually bought Vexx pre-owned from amazon about 6 weeks ago. Well worth the money, but the last boss really might as well have been the first thing you did for all the preparation they gave you throughout the game. Ironically, I finished the 3rd part first time I got to it (after 5 plays of OoT, I was good at energy tennis).
  18. I say bring back Lucky Charms! Lucky Charms were great. You could spend hours just picking all the marshmallow bits out of a box. Ah, the good old days...
  19. How? The game is 3 discs long, and has a ton of text. Oh, and the small fact of having to put in English voice acting, which Paper mario doesn't have. The fact that the game is of Japanese origin makes no difference. Super Paper Mario is taking 5 months to get from America to Europe, all the games I listed have taken fewer than 10 days. In what part of my post did I say anything about Japan? In what part of this topic did anyone way anything about Japan? I realise that localisation takes time, but with the money Nintendo are making, surely they could afford to hire a couple more translators to speed up release in Europe, meaning quicker sales?
  20. Actually, if you look at some of the Xbox 360 games: Gears of War, Oblivion, Overlord, Call of Duty 2 & 3, Crackdown, The Darkness (and many others I can't be bothered to list), all of which came out in both America and Europe within 10 days. It just doesn't make sense that so many other companies can manage it, but Nintendo can't, unless of course all these different studios are delaying potentially massive sales by 5 months, I'm guessing there might be something seriously wrong with nintendo's localisation team. P.S. This is actually my first post here on the forums.
