Baz Luhrman's Romeo + Juliet Love this film so much. Such a visually arresting adaptation...perfectly put into a futuristic/urban setting. The guy who plays Michael in Lost is amazing as Mercutio. My favourite parts, however strange it may sound, might actually be the opening and ending, with the TV reporter appearing on the fuzzy screen. Just love it so much. 9/10

Because I like the feeling of buying a physical CD, physically. I obviously would If MY PARETNS WOULD GET ME A FUCKING REAL CREDIT CARD AND NOT A SHITTY ONE LITERALLY FOR 15 YEAR OLD DELINQUENT RETARDS. However, I don't have a real credit card, so the hassle of asking my dad lets me revel in my nostalgic fancies.

Yeah, I won't automatically skip over her stuff on shuffle, if I just want to listen to some entertaining pop. She showed a glimmer of becoming more than she is on In The Zone, which I listened to for the first time in about 3 years the other week. More mature themes and sounds. Hmm. The video's definitely fun and good for what it is. Shame about the song. ----- GAH! HMV, CURSE ON YOU! They finally had American Doll Posse by Tori Amos for a reasonable price (£9), and when I went in today, some idot had picked it up and put it down elsewhere in store, so I couldn't find it. I already have it on iTunes, but it's not the best quality, as I illegally DL'd it...plus I have all her other albums on CD.

Good lord. *says no more* ---- Cat Power Love her so much. Prefer her earlier stuff (Cross Bones Style included), but I guess I applaud her for recovering from her addictions, unlike some people in the media spotlight right now.

I have an unnatural love for Disney, I'll admit. I don't look for the gender roles etc, probs due to having watched them all as a child, but I much prefer these classic fairytale-based Disney flicks to Mulan/Lilo, simply because they're too modern, with the far more obvious "joke" characters, and stuff. Plus space kinda felt out of place compared to Hawaii. (That said, I still love Lilo & Sitch) I do sometimes get sick of the PCness of nowadays. Sometimes all I want is to see a young woman doing the dishes whilst wishing for a man to come and marry her.

Well, what they "come as". So I think it'd be like, I get an invite saying "You have to come as a vampire." Which leaves me to decide If I want to go down the cliched dracula route, or a, for example, Lost Boys route with my costume etc. (Or at least I hope)
