  1. She is like...the coolest thing I've ever laid my eyes upon in Factory Girl...short hair that looks genuinely hot on a woman, rather than just "suiting" them. She looks great with long brown too (better than long blonde), but she has both in Factory Girl, and the difference is noticeable...(admiteddly not as sexy brown hair as G.I Joe)
  2. Inland Empire As a "new" fan of David Lynch, this is my third film by him, after Eraserhead and Mulholand Drive. This is definitely the...craziest. Shot all on Digital Film, adding to the blurring sense of identity and reality...wowza. In general. He knows to confuddle, intrigue and use a films soundtrack. Loved every minute of its 3-hours length. Though this will bring to mind nothing a good as what it actually is, it's almost like a heady, seductive, metaphorical, disturbing spin on an Alice In Wonderland tale. Except nothing like the book. The tagline basically sums it up; "A Woman In Trouble" 9.5/10 ---- I'm revising my score of Revolutionary Road to 8.4/10.
  3. For emphasis.
  4. Just watched first 15 mins of this. I remembered how she represents everything I hate in women/society and it's celebrity-love. Doesn't help that the "friend"-who-lives-with-me kept making stupid comments about indecency and who is and isn't. Hate her.
  5. Sienna Miller is a goddess. And a surprisingly decent actress (based on Factory Girl).
  6. Yes please.
  7. Because he wasn't around, and he only would have corrected you/not answered that question in the first place. So now the question has been revised to make sense and everyone's happy. :awesome:
  8. I wasn't being pedantic at first. And anyway, he was talking about being good in both professions. Not simply being. I'm not answering on his behalf, as I don't know/share that opinion, but your question made no sense.
  9. I love. My favourite Batman Enemy.
  10. No. I'm just telling the truth as I see it. I can't bear affectations and put-on personalities, and as such, dislike Jimmy Carr. He can be funny, but I wouldn't go out of my way at all to watch him. He's pretentious, and fake-dazed.
  11. You asked He never mentioned becoming a doctor.
  12. He never said anything of the sort...
  13. Atonement was very good, yeah. However, I hated that they advertised Kiera Knightly over the actual main female character...but then I wasn't the one getting money from the film. --- Steel Magnolias A mildly heart-warming film, which I love due to it's southern US setting, and the fact it's got awesome dialogue. And Sally Field. I want her as my mum. 7/10
  14. You crackwhores all have to vote in Music Warz match 14. All of you. Now. I hate when no one votes if the bands don't interest them...(on face value)
  15. They aren't related... And I think Alan Carr is funnier, or at the least, less sickeningly pretentious.
  16. I know! :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:
  17. It's the only one I've tried. They seem fine to me. Just a bit strange. I'd prefer to just eat duck.
  18. I don't watch trailers. It's really very good. And realistic. And as you know...those are two things I like in films. It is set in the 1950's, a very different time to now. Especially between a man and a woman.
  19. £25 total, eBay.
  20. At least that's fairer. To be honest, my 9/10 came from the fact that I related to the fear of just.."floating" and not knowing what to do in life. I think it captured that in a very realistic way, and also had all-round excellent characterisation (extending to the minor characters too).
  21. No idea what you mean by coursework...we're doing it in class. Catcher In The Rye is the book I'm doing as my complementary study.
  22. Why are you so bad?
  23. It's hilarious and generally awesome.
  24. Question; How long until Sarah Connor Series 2 comes out on DVD? I loved teh first series, which I bought on DVD, as I couldn't watch it any other way. So I assumed I'd just have to wait for Season 2 to come out on DVD to watch it. Then of course, I realised I HAD Virgin 1...but I refuse to watch a series from anywhere other than the first episode. So yeah. How long till the series ends/ the box set comes out?
  25. I concur. Ooh, reminding me I have a question about Termie, but it's more suited to a TV thread...
