  1. You linked to the Tori Amos version, didn't you?
  2. I am the only person I know that has a 1am curfew. But then I rarely stay out till then, and there's onyl been two or three times when it actually infringed on my fun. I'd prefer to know my mum cared where I was, than not.
  3. Isn't it just called "shopping at Topman et al"?
  4. You say that as though Kate Bush wasn't credible. It does. "I thought I could organise freedom...how scandanavian of me!" - Bjork, Hunter
  5. I love that when "New Age" by Tori Amos came on shuffle, my desk vibrated. Come on bass. I actually love the production/sound of her cover album, Strange Little Girls. A lot of people hate it as she actually does something different with the songs, like Slayers "Raining Blood". I love her version. Making sense with some evocative lyrics. I also love her sprawling 10 minute long cover of Happiness Is A Warm Gun. Most people hate it, but I don't knwo the original, so have a more objective view.
  6. I'm fairly sure in the lyrics booklet, there is no note of the overlayed vocals in the chorus, whereas in typing them out, I made a point of noting the most obvious ones like "(hey)".
  7. BSG - Next few episodes of Season 3, up to the "disease" one. I love the fact ethics (of war) play such a big part in this show. Though let's be honest, Helo is really annoying us all. I love D'Anna Biers unclichedly being the main cylon so far, when you'd except Six to be. The torture by Three/Sex with Six scene on the basestar was very intense. Good Hunting/10
  8. Not always, for example, I'm not a fan of your style of long hair. (on guys) It oft-looks bad. I can't quite remember what you look like, so can't comment on what it does to you, but yeah. I think medium-long on guys looks best (if you have to have long hair). I wish I had...normal hair. That looked good. Easily.
  9. I'll watch it now it's on TV.
  10. Just home from the last night of Henry V! There was an "afterparty"/gathering held by a friend, but I'm too tired and sweaty. Emotional eveneing etc, though only in the excited sense. I always like the "farewell and thank you" talk backstage, blah blah he's retiring and he always wanted ot do Henry V etc. Also, when we all came on stage after the curtain call, before we bowed, and after the Chorus said their last speech, one of the "chorus" girls handed out flowers to various people behind the scenes. Lots of clappage. Had a lot of fun performing this play. It was a bit dull up until then.
  11. I think I might (when I'm some famous artistt) make an installation piece where you just sit down and listen to Exile In Guyville in it's entirety. I actually don't believe that something that good exists for me to listen to. Nor do I understand why it's that good. If someone described the sound to me, I wouldn't like the sound of it, I don't think. If I wasn't a Bjork or Tori Amos fanboy, I'd say this is my favourite album ever. Actually it probably is. EDIT: This pertains to my day, as it has made my day, just listening to it.
  12. Is Friday Night Lights the one with Scott Porter? Chair and I e-know him, ReZ has met/hung out with him. [/one of my tenuous claims to fame]
  13. I was about to say that I posted that I knew they were different, but looking back, I didn't, I just said I'd never been on the Paris one. It look(ed?)s cool, being fired off/up in those tubes.
  14. I did think during it that it was noticeably...darker. Just finished "Collaborators". I kinda hate the death penalty, but I suppose this episode highlighted it in a negative way. I also hate that no one seemed to consider that the Cylons might have been running things... It was good though. I wonder if the 3 new characters in the Jury will make any more appearances.
  15. I want some sort of lyrics from Whip-Smart by Liz Phair on my arm or leg soon. Perhaps "Prophet of Mistakes", or my original idea "Whip-smart as the English Channel's wide".
  16. I am aware that Space Mountain is different in US and Paris, ReZ...I'm a Disney nut.
  17. Never been on the Paris Space Mountain. Been on the original in Florida though, bit of a classic, very rickety but you can't beat the classics in some respects. Rock N' Roller Coaster is a bit of a meh one for me. Not been on the Paris one, but I doubt the Florida one is much different. It's very tight and exilherating, but not really, as you can't see anything. The best bit is the start. It's also REALLY short. IIRC. I prefer Thunder Mountain/Expedition Everest. More interesting/successful theming.
  18. Ok, I've got my page set up, sponsor etc. Not sure what I'm meant to say/choose for each player, who I should keep...and the tactics thing may as well be in chinese. I get Foward, Defence, Goal Keeper and Midfield. That's it. *doesn't like/know anything about real football*
  19. Yeah the fact is, he's meant to be annoying, and he did it well. He wasn't bad in the film. In fact, he was good.
  20. ....Ok. *backs out the thread to attempt this*
