I need our paths to cross. Allthough I only sent my form off the weekend before last, so yeah. And I've not started to even out my portfolio together!

The yellow one looks fine, the red one with the black bit is hideous. I'd way prefer.

Art was fun. Made a "halo" or an aureiole, out of branches. Hopefully will look...acceptable soon enough. Hilarity ensued with it, involved me hunting people in the class and ensnaring them with my brilliant halo, and people asking if I actually knew what a halo look like. English was tiring, but I do love To The Lighthouse. Wish I found the lessons interesting though. Spent rest of day in DT doing my rubbish piece. It very literally HAS NO FUNCTION. I hate how when the teacher demonstrates something, I physically can't do it when it comes to me doing it myself. She took like...10 seconds doing the drillsync shit, but I of course took like an hour to do less than half of them, badly, really hurting my hand in the process.

Same here. Heard it for the first time in AGES a week or so ago. Fell back in love with that and Blue Monday.

Yeah, it's been out for a while. I'm considering finding it, then getting the proper CD later, as I'm seeing her two days after the Cd comes out, which doesn't give me proper time to absorb the album... --- My current favourtie song. Just brilliant; (New Order) The remastered version I have is so sexually appealing.

Bits ruin the effect a supercool drink can have. I used to be like "UGH BITS>!!!" but now I don't mind that much. I'd always choose the non-bits version if available though.

My heart stopped beating in the womb. So I (and also my mum, at this point) would most likely have died. But a caesarean and a brief bout of modern magical medicine saved us.

I'm in love with Royksopp's new album. I need to buy it. (Listening on Spotify)

Spectacular Spider-Man Season 2 Episodes 1-3 Nice return to form. Not too keen on episode 1 and their portrayal of Mysteriom, but yeah. The other two were cool, and promising stuff is sure ot come of them.- 3920 replies

Well then I suppose it's alright to "pull the plug", so to speak.

His death isn't "nice", as Flink said. It would have been more of a relief, rather than taking direct joy from it. But then he is an extreme case, and I'd be pretty happy back in those days.
-
How long had he been on support/a ventilator, before the plug was pulled? And was there ANY hope of him coming out of it alive/being able to live some kind of life?

Now that we've parted, there's just one that I just can't stand. I can't stand the rain.

I liked Episode 2 (just watched now), more than the first anyway. I like the tying together of things by Master Planner, who I assume we've seen, based on the comics anyway. But i'm thinking that just another go around with the sinister siz would be a bit rubbish, so I'm thinking either Sin Twelve or Syndicate. Also; CALYPSO. Lovely.

The first episode of Season 2 was ok. I didn't like their portrayla of Mysterio that much. It got a bit better toward the end, with the robots and stuff, but yeah. He had 0 impact being in the episode. Of course he'll probably come back and be better later on. But yeah. Mysterio is one of my favourite Spidey villains. No corny voice, far more..monotone and disturbing. Less showy and lame. I always loved some random spin-off Spidey novel I read where the entire thing is about how awesome Mysterio is.

Not sure exactly what you're implying, but she's had a condition/the actual cancer for years, IIRC. Or something that could lead to the cancer she got. I think possibly even before she first went on Big Brother. So..she knew this sort of thing was coming, just not when.

I personally find this a lot more interesting than other RIP threads, as this one actually provides an interesting landscape of varying opinions.
-
Have you heard her new album? It's brilliant. She'd be an epic headliner, but I agree an odd choice, and probably better appreciated as you said, lower down. But to doubt the quality of her recent stuff... *puts on boxing gloves*

To MCJ Metroid and others; Justifying your attitude by forcing us to question why we care about Jade over other people doesn't work, as I HIGHLY doubt ANYONE here "cares" about Jade's death. We didn't know her, and most of us I presume wouldn't have wanted to. Just like a lot of deaths reported, she's nothing to most people. That's fine. But we can't respect (that's all - no one's crying here) one persons death, and not anothers. That's hypocrisy. No one cares about her here. I think we care more that because it's her, it's "ok" to shit on her grave. (according to you and some others)

I don't think her life is any more valuable anyone elses. What's alos sick is how people see someone's life as LESS valuable than someone else's, and go on about it. For last few months/weeks, all she's done is good. Cancer "awareness" (more accurately smear tests etc) have gone up tonnes, and it's a macabre advert for the relatively new cervical cancer jabs going around the teenage girls of Britain. Young (famous, everyday joe) woman dying of this makes it seem much more of a clear and present danger. So a lot of good for others has come of this. Her using the media to cover the last few months is something I would do in her position. She can, so she has. I don't give a shit as to why she should be celebrated and the zillions of others who arent publicised aren't, as I don't celebrate her. Fact is, the reasons she can aren't relevant. She can, so she as. Yay. Money for her family and whatnot. Dying fairly happy that her family will be financially stable for the forseeable future. Nobody loses. But the whiney bitches of Britain feel that because she graces a few pages in a lot of magazines of late, she is the antichrist.

My sister bought the actual stuff, but I reminded her to do so, so I'm fine with that. - A Balloon - Some shoes she wanted - A little (expensive) purse thing - A "best mum" toast thing that imprints that onto toast.

This thread should be called "Spot the cunts".

I have no idea what you're on about now. So you agree with me, that people are whining about something they can ignore? You're making no sense. No, but then they'd get some kind of lawsuit thing to prevent them slightly. So a fair amount of media stuff, but not anywhere near as much as now.
