I find it funny that recently you're finally getting into her, and I'm finally getting into Kate Bush. ----- For Dyson (in particular) I listened to Elbow once through, and some of the songs again. I wasn't blown away. I liked the music itself, his voice annoyed me a bit, but not overly so. Some nice lyrics here and there, and obv. songs like Grounds For Divorce are nice and immediate. It'll probably grow on me.

For some of the english papers, I totally agree. Memorising quotes? Why? That's not an assessment of analytical ability what so ever, it's just a memory test to make it less easy to wing!

Yeah, for art students, it's a bit different. We have to go to college just as though it was school. Which is better for art, tbh, as I get shit all done outside of school art-wise atm.

Just like me... It is botha blessing and a curse. But I must it to protect and serve those that hate and fear me. [/Rogue from X-Men]

I'm pretty sure it's just one of those dance/pop songs, where there is no meaning behind it at all, but the implied sexuality makes it much more appealing. Like much of Madonna's last album. Give It 2 Me in particular. I don't think I've ever heard the original. Only the freemason mix.

He is! ----- Rate Razzy, not me. -
I want your work ethic.

I procrastinate unbelievably. I have no idea when or where I work best, except under pressure. But that's not necessarily my "best" work, it's just how you get me to work in the first place. I mean, I just started doing my easy-peasy (by normal people's standards) work for this holdiay tonight. I go back to school on Wednesday, and at the rate I work at, I won't get enough done at all.

Avvie; Dislike the image. It's uncomfortable to look at. Possibly her character design too. Also, not a perfect square. 5/10 Sig; Much better. Very dynamic. 8/10 Both are better than that whorey looking woman you had before. -
Chair, no one's going to watch that video, plus it'll put shites off her for life. Even I'm disturbed. There's a line between bearing your soul on record and disturbing people live. Brilliant though.

To be fair, I swore to try to avoid talking about her unless provoked. It's in writing, in the 6 Degress thread....

You could just listen to Antony & The Johnsons on shuffle. It's all in a similar vein, tbh. (I didn't add it)

I've vowed to not go about Tori Amos much anymore, but I don't think she has many mopey songs. I admit Scarlet's Walk is pretty serence as an album, but there's more appropriate ones than A Sorta Fairytale. I mean...Strange. Crazy ? Carbon even. That's depressing. BFP comes from a place that is the most mopey she's been. Hey Jupiter actually defines mope, but I'm not in love with it atm, so I won't put it in (also both her spaces are taken up ). I also added Broken English by Marianne Faithful. I was fooled. It's gone now anyway.

I added Corporate Cannibal by Grace Jones. She's always pretty sinister.

I like this thread but it keeps dying! I change mine all the time, so I like it being rated. My new set is a Dark Knight Strikes Again theme. -
Old ideas that have proven to work and named franchises carry some guarantee of money. Yeah, I hated him as well. For that. But I went in open-minded, and my mind was changed.

Have you seen 17 Again? It totally made me see him as a proper actor, as opposed to just a Disney robot. He was really great, and I appreciate his desire to actually be a proper actor, rather than follow the rest of his HSM castmates, starring in shitty disney channel/straight to dvd "movies" and releasing albums they didn't write themselves.

So only those who attend the meet get to be eligible for the awards...? That's, like, totally unfair! What about my "Favourite Forumer" award!?

Hey, he's trying to do a little bit of everything. Good on him! I used to watch the 90's cartoon version of Johnny Quest. I loved.
