    Heard this for the first time in ages, I think it was the first song I bought off iTunes about 5 years ago. I loved it then, and still think it's a perfect slice of energetic pop-rock. He's the singer from Matchbox 20, who I've never heard in my life.

    I think 1999 by Prince has done so twice (or maybe it was in America), in 1982 when it first came out and then in the titular year as a rerelease.

    Ratatouille Never seen it until yesterday/today, and enjoyed it. Some of the animation was stunning (not as much so as UP, but less lush settings etc), and the story was a nice original-feeling one. I liked the voice acting in parts, disliked it in others. I hate how it's srt in France, but the main characters have american accents. But it was nice overall. 7.6/10

    I love that Darkness song! ^ This Rage thing won't get anywhere. Rage to be no.1! Muppets to be no.1! Journey to be no.1! = split in 3, therefore the X Factor just wins easier.

    A friend's birthday thing tonight, but I'm so cold and tired. He's not a great friend etc trying to think of a decent reason for not going. Thing is, I have his jacket, and have done for like 2 months, I ended up holding onto it after a night out, and whenever I see him since, he's never warned me in advance to bring it. So tonight could be a good time to give it to him back. But then again not, he gave me it so he could go clubbing without it in the first place, would he really want it back tonight? Argh.

    Avvie - 8 Looks god, and goes with your name..the black border, nice. Sig - 4 The text isn't snappy enough, there's no power or pomp behind the statement really (the font is party a contributor), and the parenthesis sounds lame rather than sexydangerous. The little face is nice though.

    Listening to Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear again. I've listened once through before and none of it stuck, but I keep hearing people screaming the album title as they die, so I assume it's decent.

    In any case, Chair was saying that it was wrong because he thinks you should have rated HP 5/10. People didn't seem to get that. (or maybe I got the wrong end of the stick) It's not maths dumbness, I don't know what an axiom is, but he is at Oxford, doing Maths. :p

    Today felt like the culling of my art college. It was the portfolio review/tutorial thing, where we bring in al our stuff and a tutor goes through things they like, their comments, what to put in a folio, if you're applying for art college this year (this course is 1 year only). A friend of mine who is literally atrocious at art, quite unbelievably, and yet got in to this course, was basically told not to apply and to retract his UCAS, as was another friend of mine, but it was more of a decision on her part. She's got some real talent but she obviously knows she doesn't actually enjoy art that much. I wasn't ripped to shreds like that, but my tutor pointed out that I have no final pieces from this course that are unique to me (really), as most either didn't work or never got finished in time, so come exhbition time (really soon)), it'll look a bit crap. Which kinda makes me depressed, since I wanted to learn how to actually do good things in a short amount of time (i.e finish them), but I think it does rest on my shoulders. Simplify ideas and actually do them efficiently...

    I'm not sure of my feelings on the lack of a completely homogenic set, but I do think they work. Av: 8 Sig: 9 -- I have to add that I REALLY hate DudeDazz's new set. :p It's everything I hate summed up (fanboyism, horrible manga heads, precociousness or preciousness, whichever fits, and just tars the good aspects of the HP franchise with a brush of dirt for me). Sorry. (My current one isn't great either)

    The Box My favourite thing ever (not really). I loved. On all levels. The fact you both enjoy and hate the way the story goes, how ambiguous everything is, how mediocre the script is. How great it all is. I agree with Goafer (I think it was) how lovely and like a Twilight Zone episode it felt. I do believe that's what it was aiming for. You'll love it or hate it (but could find it great in any case) 7/10

    The Power Rangers never fail to leave me flat on the floor, cooing a tune to my master, wishing I was a maid again. Someone needs to write a "serious" comic series on them, taking into account the various branches like the originals, Zeo, Wild Force or whatever etc etc. Would blow me.
