Yeah but you'd rather let it mull in the mind before rewatching it.

^ My favourite thing! Could be Boards of Canada's new single. Well, not really. But strikes in the same direction.

Solaris (2002) I've not finished the original yet (Still driving along the motorway in silence for 10 minutes...), but I really enjoyed this. Dunno how close it is to the original. Clooney didn't blow me away, but he was better than I expected. I loved Natasha McElhone. She hasn't really been in much else has she? Lovely direction, score and acting in general. Cerebral, thought-provoking etc. I think I liked most imagining it to be a stunning reworking of the Dark Phoenix Saga in an alternate reality X-Men. 8/10

I watched no "Xmas TV" except the RSC Hamlet last night. It was a really good production actually. David Tennant is one of those people I have no problem with, but can't stand to watch. It's his skeletal face and the faces he pulls. But of course that worked great for the role of Hamlet. A lavish production visually, with stunning imagery and symbolism, mirrors, cameras, and his "muscle" t-shirt. Gertrude and Claudius were both standouts, but Patrick Stewart always impresses. Ophelia was ugly until she went mad and then showed us all how to be great. Some bits were done really well, just lovely little bits of staging that gave me an new appreciation for the actual text. The "Moustrap" scene, where Hamlet makes lewd remarks whilst sitting beside/with Ophelia makes more sense in this production than how I imagined, for example. Yes. /10- 3920 replies

I need one of each colour. I'm already panting/sweaty thinking about it.

Snow White The nicely restored "Diamond edition". Love this film. Haven't seen it in a good 8-9 years, brought back loads of memories. Lots of the images have a kind of...tactile memory? Not the right phrase but yeah. I remember loving the way she made the pie. I remember loving the perceived texture of the apple dripping green from the cauldron etc. I love Adrianna Casselotti's voice too. Almost too much of a classic. Almost having too much of an influence on cinema.

I'm gagging to know. This is like Jeremy Kyle. Why was it so wrong? Are you biologically related? Were you mortal enemies at school? Is he into animals?

A stunning dog. Looks like it's wearing boots/fingerless archery gloves. Could be in an RPG.

Well it's my sister's dog, really. I didn't want a dog, nor do I dislike having one now we do. It's just perturbing. I'd rather have a baby. I want children by any means necesary in the future. I don't understand people who say they don't want children. But then I worked out I want children at least in part because I need something to continue on as evidence of my existence after I die. I might have to deal with that if I end up having to adopt or something.

I got almost too much. Felt really rude compared to my cousin who was staying with us. Fair enough he got an Ipod, but I had too many. But obviously appreciated. Off the top of my head; New Mario Bros (Wii) Tales of Symphonia 2 (Wii) Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (Wii) Solaris (Remake) (DVD) Rear Window (DVD) Snow White (DVD) ++ arguably the most essential. I really love disney and love the nice special editions all resotred, but can never spare the money to buy them (they're often pretty pricey). My cousin didn't know I wanted a nice Disney DVD, and yet he got me one of one of my favourite films. ++ Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2 (DVD) Batman The Movie (60's one) (DVD) Prince - Lotusflow3r/MPLSOUND (CD) (Weird french version, think it's just the second disc, but the name on the front is the first disc. But stunning nontheless) Janet Jackson - Design Of A Decade (CD) Annie - Don't Stop (CD) Calvin Klein "Crave" Eau De Toilette New in-ear headphone/earbuds "My Name Is Charles Saatchi And I Am An Artoholic" (Book) 100 Best selling albums of the 90's (book) A "pocket pint" (which stuns...it's a collapsible pint glass) A lovely scarf Some lovely socks. £20 £15 HMV token New red tie A light-up Buddha thing A new DC Superheroes calender Some biscuits Some chocolate Some t-shirts A lovely Superman hoodie. Feels like a bit much, but my mum justified it by saying that she hardly buys me anything during the year, and I'll (hopefully!) be leaving home next year, so could be my last "normal" christmas, but yeah. I'm very happy with my haul of course.

Have a nice day.

Oh I know. I know I'm not allowed to say anything or complain because people (like you say, like you) deal with far worse situations every day. RE: "feel" : it's more than a feeling but it doesn't actualy lead anywhere near death :p. Also, I feel (as in, physically feel) my body "disintegrating" or "slowing down". Sometimes my heart hurts or is going really fast when I haven't done anything. And other things. I just...think about the fact I'm going to die (at some point, like everyone) and how I can't cope with it, all the time. Everyone else seems to (cope with it). It literally occupies my mind 24/7. More but I'm over this.
-
EDIT: I feel like I'm going to die soon.* Well I have for the last few years, but this time I feel it properly. Rather than it just being part of my fear, it feels more tangible. Obviously I have this feeling based on more than just "what I think". Hmm. *Which could mean anything.

Yeah but it's not. Like the bit where you say cringingly "Chronic Diahorrea Rainbow" or something, firstly it's repeated pointlessly, which deadens the joke, and this repetition means the writing is on the screen too long. I think the image of the writing should be on screen for a second, out of blue, after the first mention of the name, like it jumps out. That might be amusing. (sans sound) ^ Editing.

Our dog has not enhanced our lives yet. How long does it take until it starts being more than just a hindrance to one's life? It's young, but I'm so bored of it pointlessly shitting beside the mat it's supposed to. [/callous, but doesn't really see the point]

I hope they do some kind of Season 3 comic like they did for Buffy. Unless it's really really tied up in the next 3.- 3920 replies

The only good thing about Jason Derulo's song is that (presumably) Imogen Heap is getting money from it.
