    A good friend of mine's birthday, went to her house for her shindig thing, gave her my flashing U R 18 liscence plate thing she loved from my birthday as a joke pressie. Fun was had by all, met a few new people, and strangely FINALLY met someone I'd known through people/heard tell of/ chatted online to, but never met in person. She stunned, being a former L'Oreal Kids hair model. Went into town to the clubs, but go strangely split up, and ended up with 3 of us in the club and everyone else god knows where, not answering their phones. Though we found others throughout the night, the birthday girl and her boyfriend were never found, despite them being behind us in the queue to get into said club. Hmm. Saw people from the year below at my old school and they kept trying to make eye contact and so the "head-nod of ackowledgement" thing but I ignored them. I have no relationship with them, don't want one, and know only one of their names. I also realised that I find clubs incredibly sad, or...down. Or something. I love the music, and how it's mixed etc, love hearing it pumped up, love the dancing, but I don't get the smiling people. I never smile whilst "dancing" except if I'm kinda chatting to someone whilst. I'm sortof...amused and intimidated by the whole affair of going to a club and what goes on. I don't understand how people can talk at a club, my voice comes from the back of my mouth or something, it feels like a mouse compared to everyone else. I find the darkness and the pulsing quite soothing and contemplative and kindof un-joyous. I was wondering how to find it more joyous.

    Concurrently re-watching Arrested Development Season 1 and 2; 1 with chairdriver, 2 with my sister. Too good. Just...the best thing. Lies are all I hear from those who say thee nay.

    Ok so yeah got this for Xmas (asked for it), and enjoyed it but found it suprisingly hard! Kept annoyingly dying before the "save points" so had to redo loads a few times. Even let Luigi do some stages for me (tbf if I hadn't, and had died, I would have had loads to do.) I'll go back to complete them properly at some point. But yeah, think I'm getting into it now...on World 3, the second half of world 2 didn't cause me much/any trouble. I know it's probably really easy and I'm just odd, but yeah. Good though!

    No, I'm getting my knickers in a twist about things being horrible. People are into different things to other people. I just spasm in horror and outrage whenever I hear that song.

    Oh I know, I'm riding the horse as I speak. But that just shows how much I hate it. I admit to the riding. I refuse to give it any more of my time (I've listened to it 2 times in full), it's so horrid. --- I'm learning to love the XX. I like it, but I feel there's something missing. But it doesn't ruin it. Hmm.

    I would concede if the Fireflies song were as technically decent as Lady Gaga's songs. But it's not, it's horrific. It's disgusting, I want to burn it. It's worse than the Twilight saga.

    It's not background music if it sets out to ram spikes in your ears. What's that voice doing? I just imagine a horrible guy with horrible hair tilting his head to the side and gargling whilst doing that horrible accent. In fact I've seen the guy and he looks just like that.

    ^ I died really early on into the first dungeon today, and realised I hadn't saved/there was lots of movies and talking, and when I loaded, I was still shitty Emil in his scullery maid rags. Almost cried. But then if you just skip everything they say, it goes quickly. Have to RE-DO all the capturing the elf and wolf shiz though. I'm also weeping that the Sorceror's ring doesn't have a generic fire effect anymore. My favourite thing. I love the abundance of skits. But sortof wish you could carry on moving while they went on.

    Until Michael Cera stops playing the same character, the only film I await with him in is the Arrested Development movie. Which I still don't really believe will happen. Surely there's not enough audience? And non-viewers/people will be lost with the in-jokes if they do it the same as an episode. Hmm.

    Woke up at 2.15, latest in a while. I'm sortof taking days off, just playing my new games (never really play games anymore except when friends are around, so taking advantage!). Plus my big essay is really just gonna be a re-edit of a past draft thing, so working on that isn't too strenuous. Need to get a killer idea for my 6-week project though. I'm using film, and NEED to do well. I'm told I have great, thought-provoking ideas (I agree :P), but fail in the execution (I agree ), so I need a tighter, less huge idea that I can pull off. I'm think installation as opposed to pure film. Dunno.

    Buffy Season Two "Hallowe'en" Going through series 2 for the first time now, enjoyed this one lots! I love Cordelia the most. How she's such an obvious part of the team, literally involved in EVERY battle/event the gang encounter, and yetis really rude to them all at school, and she claims to hate them. Some of the dialogue is pitch-perfect in this show too. I hope the end of the episode means Willow will stop dressing like a mongo. I love Spike and Drusilla way more than all the shit "mainies" from season 1 like Darla.

    I've listened to The XX twice in full, on Spotify, and it left me with nothing real. I'm sure I'm missing an essential point. It was one long middling song to me, no high points, no low points, just meh. But then as I'm sure I've mentioned, I'm allergic to Spotify cause I don't own the music. I feel that it taints all I listen to from there. I need to spend some time with the album...I dunno. I expected to be more blown away, but I guess it's more low-key.

    Got this for Xmas, but combined with getting 2 other Wii games to split my time with, and the fact I'm sharing the living room T.V with my entire family, I've literally just got past the battle tutorial. (Which is about 40 mins in tbf!)
