Yeah, I've had a Boots electric razor for the last 5 or whatever years, just shaves off your facial hair, nothing else, haha. I was too scared to try setting 1 on my new beard trimmer incase that meant like..full shave (the instructions pointlessly don't really indicate which number you'd want to use), so I used 3, then 2. There's a glint of ginge in the right light on my chin, but I'm over it. Presumably if I shaved on the 1 setting it would be even less apparent. / I still have HAIR on my face atm, not just purely stubble. Basically. Yeah. If I shaved down to stubble, there'd be no ginger.

It's worth going to see it alone. If you have to.

I assume more in-movie references will be made the Avengers Program in Thor and Captain America (using the after-credits bits too) until the Avengers starts with them forming properly (so it works as a stand-alone film in case people hadn't seen the previous films).

Yeah I read a shit review of it on Boot's own website (:p), but went there today and it was the cheapest, and I don't care. Just tried it out, seems good.

I'm a relative shaving n00b, in that I've just used a generic electric shaver since I started needing to (so YEARS), without much care or thought. But I hate having to shave as I dislike my bare face, but at the same time I dislike having a slightly ginger-tinged beard going on. I like a little bit. Hopefully this'll leave a little bit of stubble. :/

Yeah but Ultimates did it better/more stunningly. Plus in 616 he joined the Avengers afterwards... Just no. At least he left. That was in character.

Boots Stubble Control Thingie £15

I hope so, since Ultimates is the best thing they could possibly base this on. However, I have a feeling Marvel might not like one of their biggest heroes being used like that... Who knows?

Chris Hemsworth talks Avengers:

It makes everyone with long hair look stunning, so it's fine.

The accent thing. I have ONLY EVER lived in Scotland, yet have a "normal/typical/generic English person" accent. Over the years I've tried to explain it away by saying my dad is English, my mum is half-american/half-scottish (shortened to just "american" in later tellings of the story to emphasise the lack of scottishness)...but people are just really suprised that english accents exist in Scotland. I don't want to be like...WELL I WENT TO PRIVATE SCHOOL (especially since that doesn't really mean you'd necessarily have an english accent...there's just more people with english or "upper-class scottish" accents at private schools I think). In Scotland no one believes I'm Scottish, in England no one believes I'm Scottish. Nowadays I just say I went to a (relatively) posh school and I'm (relatively) posh.

If I'd known about The Fountain/Aronofsky at the time, I would definitely have gone to see it in the cinema. Only found out who he was once I bought Reqieum For A Dream. So many people I've talked to about Black Swan have been like "Oh yeah I downloaded that". I start launching into a speech about the film industry and then the fact it's such an important thing to see in the cinema but then give up. And I can hardly talk when it comes to downloading, I just don't do it with films.

Battlestar Galactica is still more worth watching. Most likely. I've never seen House. I'd bet a toe I'd still value BSG more though. :p
-
Of course, I expected it.

Has a song ever been more aurally appropriate for BSG? forgiveneeeeeeeeeeeesssss Could be sung by a somehow-unnoticed 6 in a Jazz Bar on Cloud 9.

It's a brilliant whole, with themes upon themes, the story of Swan Lake kinda...interweaved through every aspect of it. I hate the word melodramatic since it has connotations of being negative, so I don't like to use it. It might be the right word to use though. It was an incredibly dramatic and majestic film/story, but that fits perfectly within the fact it's set in the ballet world, within the story, with the meta-story/whatever etc etc.
