Lol! I love so much. The random clip of Madonna dancing. Not even a famous one. "This is a video of my CUUUUUUUNNNTT".
  2. Well you've been incedibly annoying and nonsensical in this thread. I'd prefer to not beat around the bush.
  3. I watched it when I bought it about 2 years ago (think Ganepark recommended it), and was stunned, but I feel now is the time to take it out again and relish in it as it will always apply to your life. I watched just over half this morning, will watch the rest tomorrow. <3 I love the animation and the fact it changes so willy nilly. And the fact all the conversations are so personal and "real".
  4. Well one of the steak options was £6.00. I've never seen something so brilliant. I found it hard to look at. I chose the Beer + Burger deal, which was £5.10 for a nice burger, chips and salad, and a beer of your choice. And for some reason the guy only rang it up as 4.70. *faints*

Bad audio/might need to turn it up/I didn't speak near the mic/loud enough/slash
  6. Yeah...I've never had such cheap food that's worth the money. I'm stunned as to why I haven't eaten there before. Cheap drinks too.
  7. I don't even know which thread this is now, but nontheless: [Last night] I loved. A select group of my friends (all on my course, all playable at the start of the game) went to wetherspoons for dinner and drinks last night and stayed there till closing, just chatting and loving life. I love when film students come together. No topic was left unturned. And the Subjectivity vs/ Objectivity debate occured, but with far more civility and grace than is usually shown on N-E. :p It was literally a divide in the group at the table, those that believed that enjoying a film made it good, and those that believe in a scale of objectively quality in films. But yeah, was a great night. I loved everyone there. Could have panned out on us to end a film. St. Elmo's Fire esque / can't remember if that happens in St. Elmo's fire.
  8. Yep. I enjoyed the form of The Social Network much more than the content. The visuals, the sound, the editing etc.
  9. Maybe it was just me, but The Social Network really didn't have a profound effect on my life...I saw the DVD cover the other day, with things like AMERICAN LANDMARK IN CINEMA and BEST OF IT'S ERA and it's like "...really?". It's a great little film, but feels really inconsequential.
  10. You always seem so down in the dumps Nightwolf.
  11. Just...shut the fuck up. [/not really angry] We get your point/s. No one is actually disagreeing with them. It's your tarring everyone with the self-serving bullshit brush no one appreciates, especially those of us who are fully aware of what you've been rambling on about in this thread, and aren't actually naive shits.
  12. I'm blown. I love the concept.
  13. Why would Kecleon need an evo? Feels unique and definitive as is.
  14. fffffffffffffffffff
  15. Feels like something from an RPG. I need.
  16. I don't understand why you dislike the "unsubtle" bits. It's intentionally unsubtle. It's like a book/painting/fairytale/BALLET. All the symbolism or visual markers are there for a reason. Hence why it's so melodramatic, hence the shot of the broken ballerina etc. It's like..why are we looking at Natalie Portman's performance for the usual "Oh was it stunning or not?" criteria? When it was was perfectly suited to what was required? The role was mostly looking shy/nervous until the end anyway. It's one big construct, like a picture book written/drawn in a particular style. I'm over it though.
  17. It's what I need.
  18. Yeah Diageo, you're one of the characters that is a medium-difficulty boss early on, then based on decisions/choices made, you can join the party, or continue being the joke "returns every few stages boss, who in the end is good, but we'll never truly know how good because they never joined the party." Giving the game replay value.

I have a generic "British person/English" accent, despite being Scottish. I can understand Scottish in 99% of situations, but sometimes when it's a thick accent + old gruff man + anger = incomprehensible. People in London are very disappointed both people on our course from Scotland have english accents.
  20. Why not just...go and see this extremely well-reviewed and recommended film without knowing what it's "about"? it's clearly "good", so there's no point in spoiling it.
  21. Saw it for a second time on Thursday. Loved it, of course. Really allowed me to pick up on things I missed/didn't realise the significance of the first tme round. Why did I miss the fact that
  22. I'm stunned by the context of Twin Peaks. So appropriate/makes me appreciate the album more.
  23. Hey bytch.
