No, I'm not "comparing" it to Assassins Creed in that way. Just saying that it reminds me of it somewhat, probably mostly due to the parkour stuff, and the sort of pre-release hype its getting as a potentially awesome game.

I can see this becoming Assassins Creed again. Apart from the obvious free running comparison, I fear it will show so much promise then turn out to be nothing more than average. Also, I fear for the control system - I can see it being too complicated or too simple, and I think it will be tough to strike the right balance.

Don't really see the chain of thought for Volcom but I'll go with it. Vote:Volcom Also, if that role is real chair thats pretty awesome. Because people say "vote:no lynch", as if no lynch is a person...I like the thought process that went into making that up, whether it was Dom/Fish or you made it up yourself.

Yeah, I've only played the original on the VC. I'm proud to say I've actually completed it :awesome: Mainly due to the save state feature on the VC

The boat I used at least was faster than the choppers and police boats. Only time I got shot at was when turning round a corner of the island and dodging police boats that spawned in front of me, and even then I didn't get hit.

Lol, I cheated for that achievement by taking a boat tour around the whole city. Got 3/4's of the way round in the 5 minutes. Holding RT has never been so rewarding.

So I completed the bank robbery mission first time Was expecting it to be harder to escape the cops. Think I got really lucky though, even though Packie and Derrick kept running out into the open they never died and just absorbed the bullets for me.

Yeah, sounds like it, since the info was based on Raining's thought of being the hooded figure I think Strider's story is plausible.

Is it just me or is saying stuff like this the most pointless thing ever? Not singling you out Sanchez, but people are saying stuff like "I have info but I don't want to say it yet". Either tell us the info, or dont mention you have it until appropriate.

Mirrors Edge is either going to be absolutely amazing or a complete let down. Unfortunately, I'm expecting a let down. Controls will most likely be too difficult, or too simplified (ala Assassins Creed's free running) and the camera looks like it will be prone to giving some people motion sickness. Nevertheless, I'm keeping a keen eye on it.

I'm still surprised they haven't done a doctor with x-ray vision. Seems almost cheesy enough for the show.

Yeah, it's pretty stupid. The "injuries" in the Scotland squad annoyed me most. I have high hopes that Motherwell can do us a favour and get some points off them. Let's face it, they'll win the Scottish Cup, but in whats supposedly their best year for a while that and the league cup won't seem too special :p

Yeah their great. Need to get their second album at some point. The lead singer has an acoustic side project too which is cool. Free downloads off Last.fm if you're interested.

Kinda sucks that you basically get given a list and can't pick and choose like with DLC but it's better than nothing I guess. Also you wouldn't be able to use the expansion songs on the same set list as the normal songs since you'd have them on different discs. I'm still going for the 360 version, but good news for Wii only people.
