Played more if it yesterday and I know I'm repeating myself but: It's awesome Shouldn't have bought the other games as I haven't tried them, yet I've now unlocked the highest difficulty but haven't given it a go. There's still stuff to unlock on the one before that, i.e. beat the final boss at level 12. Got my ass kicked on my attempt last night. The game gets quite tough, it seems. In other news, I bought Bloons TD 6 because it's only 1.37€.

Well, with conversion of chances like this we'll get demolished by Spain.

At times I literally thought: "have these players been on a pitch before?" Ridiculous performance... Switzerland could've/should've been up by 2 or 3!

The Void Rains Upon Her Heart is sublime. I'm 3.5h in now and I can't stop. I haven't unlocked a lot of monsters and I feared that I would get bored of fighting the same ones over and over again but no...I'm having a blast Basically every run throws something new at you: be it a new monster, a new power-up, new consumables...the list goes on. There's constantly something new to discover. Unlocked a new character and while she doesn't change up much, her quirk makes for a slightly more tactical approach. Anyways, I'll probably stick with the first character for now, though! Oh and I'll just leave this here: Edit: Forgot to mention: This game currently has 712 achievements on Steam If this ever comes to PS, I hope they'll all become trophies

Italy is terrible

Holy shit, this game's incredible. It's basically a boss rush shmup and I shouldn't enjoy it because that's not really my type of genre. I read about it a lot and it got high praises so I took the plunge and after my one and only run so far: no regrets! The rogue-lite elements seem very well thought-out, the shmup battles are great, the music is ridiculously good and there seems to be so much content. There are 103 monsters, 119 blessings (i.e. upgrades), apparently a few different modes (only got Story Mode unlocked for now) and more...This game is also still in early access, which I find hard to believe. Can't wait to dive deeper. And I also can't believe that it seems that two shmups might end up on top of my gaming list this year

Giving myself a limit of 20€ and with Disco Elysium - The Final Cut Prodigal The Void Rains Upon Her Heart in my cart right now, I have 5 bucks left to spend. Maybe I'll find a cheap rogue-lite/-like (and yes, I know that Disco Elysium is on PS+ but this feels like a perfect game for the Steam Deck)

Finished it. Fun for the 5 hours it took me to complete the story. Not worth more, to be honest

Not sure if that's the case, to be honest. I just looked up a trophy guide and it seems you can fast-travel to checkpoints and collect the collectibles that way. My PS5 says I've been at it for about 5 hours and I've reached the penultimate level.

Another week of me having virtually no time to game starts today, so I won't be able to finish this anytime soon. I have, however, reached the penultimate level. It's been quite fun. Not sure if I'll go for the Platinum, though, as you have to basically play through the entire game again to get collectibles. Which is one of my biggest pet peeves: Areas/collectibles in early levels you can only reach after you get abilities in later levels

Yeah, after 3 episodes I just had to stop. Decided to watch the final episode of Shoresy...some of the best television I have ever seen. I will rewatch the 3 seasons so many times. Hooolyyy.

The Balatro thread on the second page of Other Consoles? Haven't played this a lot in the past two weeks (now at 107h on PS5 and 111h on PC) but I did manage to clear Painted Deck on Gold Stake on PC. It's not a particularly difficult Deck but I hate it. Currently trying Gold Stake with it on PS5 and I make silly mistakes early Anyways, can't wait for it to be done so I can move on to the other Decks which I prefer immensely.

Well, FM24 is a nightmare. The game just scrolls through the menus by itself. Seems to be a bug as it's been reported on the official forum. Anno 1800 works just fine. Might give it a proper go soon
