  1. Just thought I would share this with you guys, because my god it's a good price! UK only I'm afraid, unless you import I guess. http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=484835
  2. Thanks for all the suggestions peeps, this will keep me going until Super Paper Mario comes out over here. Well ok, maybe not THAT long As for Windwaker, I've played it a fair bit on my friend's GCN, and really loved it. Hence it was one of the first GCN games I bought. Looks great, plays great - I don't see what's not to like I don't have SSB Melee yet. No, I don't know why either
  3. What am I doing wrong? All I got for Easter was some crappy chocolate. You mean I should be holding out for a £200 games console?!
  4. Separate board, for my money.
  5. Sure it's not something like power surges? Could be solved with a surge protector?
  6. Ah, that makes sense. I saw a game with a red triangle in a GAME bargain bucket the other day, so I guess it must have been an import someone had sold on.
  7. I have to ask, as I keep seeing it and it's bugging me. On the spine of Wii and GCN games, there's a green triangle. What does it represent?
  8. Without a doubt Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands were excellent. I also saw someone slating New Zealand Story the other day, which gave me weeks of fun on the Spectrum. Bloody hard though!
  9. I can understand that. I had access to a mate's GCN at uni, and that's pretty much all I played
  10. I notice Scarface has a release date of 06/07 posted on the NoE website: http://www.nintendo-europe.com/NOE/en/GB/games/coming_soon.jsp
  11. Good idea :awesome: :awesome: Especially for someone like me who never had a Cube and is looking to get some games for the Wii.
  12. OK, so I'm buying a Wii in the near future, and I'm building up a library of games for when I get it. This includes some GCN games (plus the Wavebird I have knocking around), as I nearly bought a Cube last gen, but never did. So basically, I'm looking for some recommendations on the best GCN games. Currently I have: Crazy Taxi Burnout 2 Super Monkey Ball 2 Soul Caliber 2 (obviously) Zelda Windwaker (obviously) FIFA 07
  13. I'm rather looking forward to this. Given its commonly rated as one of the best games on the Cube, and I never had one, it means I get to have a go at what I missed out on. Having widescreen etc is a big bonus!
  14. Cos I already bought all the games I want prior to getting the console, using cheap deals on places like http://www.hotukdeals.co.uk, and the Gamestation GCN bargain bucket
  15. Is it me, or is everyone (bar Amazon) cashing in on the Wii shortages by making the Wii available ONLY in bundles? I saw a sign outside Virgin in Telford on Thursday, saying that they had Wii in stock, but only in the bundles listed (you had to buy at least one game with the console, at a premium). Are they taking the piss? Then I looked on http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk, and it seems that a lot of places - GAME, Gamestation, Dixons, Comet - are only releasing the Wiis they have available if you're prepared to forked out an extra £40-£100 for the privilege, rather than shopping around for cheaper prices for your games. The cheeky buggers. I'll be buying my console from Amazon when I get one around my birthday, I'm not being railroaded into some corporate blackmail
  16. Sega has posted a release list: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=161557 # Alien Syndrome (Wii, PSP) June # Touch Darts (DS) Summer # Mario & Sonic at the Olympics (Wii, DS) Winter # NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Wii) Winter # The Golden Compass ("multi") Winter # The Club ("next-gen") 2007 Not even sure what all those games are!
  17. Go on then. At Amazon
  18. Graphics look a bit shoddier than they should be, but I can't deny the appeal of being able to use the Wiimote as a wand! I will keep an eye on this, being an overage Potter fan
  19. I'm really quite disappointed that Trauma Centre is still missing - I wanted that to be one of my first Wii games (I'm gonna get the console in a month or two - hopefully), but god knows where its got to. SPM is hardly a surprise, despite my hopes to the contrary, and if we see Galaxy before 2008, then I will happily eat my hat AND my head
  20. I'm really quite looking forward to Big Brain Academy, having never had a DS to play Brain Training on. Now it seems that there some support for WiiConnect 24, and maybe even multiplayer across it, although it's not very clear in this article: Linky Sounds cool!
  21. He's right though - the Wii customer and the XBox customer are different. I'm getting a Wii because I've got a PC to play all these high def FPSs on. The Wii (and Nintendo in general) will always offer something completely different to the other main two consoles. While PS3 and 360 have the majority of their games that can be emulated or bettered by the PC, Wii (and even Gamecube) games are consistently different to the PC. So, sod Wii60 - WiiC for me
  22. Well that certainly saved me a lot of typing Track & Field + Wii + Sonic/Mario FTW I will definately be buying this.
  23. Annoying, I played Rayman to death round a friend's house - now I have to buy it so I can complete it
  24. Maybe it's because it's an adapter rather than a straight SD card?
  25. Well I didn't know that did I Almighty Teppo:bowdown:
