Yeah, well, what ya gonna do. :p No offence Cube, but I know you're wrong about me so I've no reason to trust your other suspicions.
-
Sweet, didn't know it was that close for Vita. Might pick it up off VG+. 999 was probably my favourite DS game, shame it never came out here though.
-
Yeah, I just don't buy people giving reasons for inactivity. Especially when they come after the inactivity. It's not that I don't necessarily believe you, it's not that at all. I just don't think it's quite fair on the game mechanic because inactive people tend to get through easy and it can make it hard for town. My apologies for saying 'bollocks', the way I picture it in my head when I say that is more inbetweeners-esque than necessarily hostile. :p Right, well I'm going to apologise for being rude to you. It was wrong of me to say some of those things. I'll tone it down from now on. Buuut...I ask you review the case. :p If you're really town, you can see how it might be considered suspicious that Animal was roleblocked and there's no night kill, right? I'm often like the way I am, so I wouldn't say I'm being altogether suspicious. Animal also hasn't spoken up for himself yet which is not boding well for him. I know it might appear that way, but really, do you think I'd push so hard for that lynch if I didn't really believe it and also at a stage when there was a full roster of Townies (almost like day 1)? What if I told you I had reason to believe that Jonnas had targeted me as well as apparently being roleblocked?
-
There you go people, I think there's a strong case for voting for me. Cube just thinks I'm suspicious, whereas Nintendohnut doesn't like my personality. Very strong case, nothing can go wrong with this one. :p
-
I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is, it has no relevance to me. If you're inactive, you're inactive. Mentioning that you'll be inactive due to reason X to get people off your back is wrong, it's so easy to abuse and we have no idea whether you really do have a deadline or not. You probably do, but that's besides the point. Just as an added thing, I have no problem if people want to find a replacement because they can't play the game properly any more. I honestly was just gobsmacked that you tried to use inactivity as a plus point to why you weren't instead focusing on Animal. ----------------- Well, in a few days you'll realise that you don't know my play style and should pay closer attention. :p Again, I'm not. This is the way I post. You can't judge the way I post based on a preconceived singular identity of a 'Townie'. People are different, people have different play styles. I think you're taking my posts too seriously to be honest, I'm calling your posts out and you're taking it personally. Lighten up. Again, it's not relevant to the game, and there's no way for anyone to know whether you're really inactive due to work or not. I'm not saying you're not. It just bears no relevance on the game, and is too open to abuse.
-
I also like how he tries to accuse me of having the same playstyle. I've had what, two other Mafia games? And the one which I was town I was killed off early. So how he can pretend he knows my 'Mafia playstyle' is absurd after one game where I was Mafia and not even much of a Town game to compare to. Anyway, 10 player game, let's say 5-6 town remaining (2 town dead, and assuming 2-3 Mafiosos). Question @mr\-paul VERY easy for us to lose this given how small this game is. Animal is most likely since he was roleblocked on the first night and it can't have been Jonnas since he was town. Get voting!
-
lol. Bollocks. You haven't even identified the 'scum post' that apparently gave me away in this game. Because there isn't one. I get worked up just generally, everyone knows that. It's the way I am. Hello! Earth to Nintendohnut! That's not happening here at all. I've used logic throughout all my posts when pushing for the Jonnas lynch. If he wasn't a logical lynch then no one else would have voted him. NB - For balance, Nintendohnut is not playing anything like how he was in Lego Mafia (he was town in that). Here he has barely posted a thing until now. So his very logic he's using against me is kicking him right up the backside. Most, MOST retarded logic I have ever heard. Not posting much is a classic Mafia tactic, one you have demonstrated brilliantly here. Anyway let's cut this post short because apparently if it gets too long you'll have a panic attack about me being Mafia. But let's end on: Bolloooooooooooooocks. People should never claim real life circumstances. I'm simply not interested and if you're that busy then resign, I'm not giving you a free pass to sail through to the end via inactivity. Bloody joke tbh that being inactive lets you get far in these games while apparently people like me who post lots are obviously Mafia, etc.
-
Dohnut, I thought you were a good judge of character. You picked up on my Mafia attitude in Lego Mafia, so you should be able to tell I'm Town here. Also I'd like to know why you've been keeping your head down in this topic. You're normally one of the top posters. Anyway, I don't see the harm in predicting numbers of roles. In fact, it's silly not to. Games must be balanced, ergo it's unlikely one side will have lots of the same role. Especially in a small game where you still need a variety of roles so Town can actually discover the Mafia, yet don't have a large pool of players to factor in potential duplicate roles. Sure, the game CAN be different by having lots of the same role, but it's unlikely, and as others have said it's unlikely Jimbob is going to rock the boat too much on his first Mafia. Also Dohnut, I think the Mafia choosing not to kill at the beginning of the game is fairly nonsense because it's a wasted opportunity. At the beginning of the game Town is at its least knowledgable - the Mafia can get away with more, and having more players on their team makes them more daring. It's only when you get closer to the end and there's perhaps fewer Mafiosos remaining that they become very cautious about being detected and might pass on a kill. At the beginning though? VERY unlikely. Agreed. An absolutely absurd thing to suggest that the Mafia would choose not to kill at the very beginning of the game. Fucking batshit crazy suggestion that sent the needle crazy! :p

No, you're not getting it, the funeral was an event held by the game moderator - the act of being protected to me sounded like being invited to join in the celebrations or to have a drink at the bar. I don't believe that you were kept in hospital one bit. Who on Earth would protect you on night 1 when they know nothing about you. They'd protect themselves. And supposing they are a jailkeeper, everyone knows on the first night as town you are likely to do more harm than good by targeting someone and it's not a very Mafia ability. Not buying that one bit.
-
It sounded more like to me that the funeral took place, and if you were protected you were part of the celebration. Either way, 1 roleblock, 1 protection directed to Jonnas who was innocent. The only other kill blocker CONFIRMED so far is the extra roleblock by Tales. With no other leads and no one denying Tales's claim, how an Earth can you be against this? I will give a good explanation actually; you're scum.
-
How was the funeral a protection? It was a massive event run to celebrate the guy who died at the start of the game.
-
You nuts? Why would he come out so early saying he's a cop? I don't think the funeral was a roleblock as from the sounds of things it affected multiple people to various degrees. Cube, I think you're a big fat liar in some of the things you're saying.
-
Why ask for Animal to come in then and condemn me if you don't even know he targeted me? Makes no sense. And Jonnas said that his target seemed to be protected. That would imply 1 roleblock and 1 protection stopped him. If considering that there was 1 more roleblock out there to stop a kill, Tales claimed he used that on Animal. Your argument has just disappeared. So let's drop this charade now.
-
He won't have any true information. Because I am town. Given Animal is almost certainly Mafia you can pretty just disregard what he's saying anyway. Cube, tell me what the other options are for why there was no kill on N1. Protection. Mafia don't usually get that ability so probably just 1 protector. All in all 2 roleblockers have been claimed, and if we assume there's one protector then that's a 2 in 3 chance that the kill didn't happen because of a roleblock. And Jonnas is cleared. Tell me why that's not the most solid lead. And somehow Cube, and I'd love to hear how, you seem to 'know' Animal is both a cop and that he targeted me last night. I'd love to know how you know that, unless of course, it is sheer crap that you have just fabricated.
-
Nice, so I suppose you've got evidence to backup that bollocks? Of course not. Animal and Jonnas apparently roleblocked N1. Jonnas was town. Do the freakin' mathematical jargon, squire.
-
You're picking up on totally irrelevant things. Anyone who knows me knows that when I am focused on someone I will do all I can to put forward my point, and people know I'm a slightly aggressive person. You have to take into account people's personality and not just checking them against your preformed idea of a townie. What's the use in being so weak about your point of view that you put it forward with such little conviction that no one rallies to it? Justifying myself as non Mafia is perfectly valid for a townie. It's true that if I was scum I wouldn't be pushing my point so hard to get a lynch so early on, so why not mention it in my defence.
-
Then you're as good as Mafia. Seriously, you have nothing. There is a very good chance Animal is Mafia, and all you can do is argue that because I pushed for a lynch (at the very beginning of the game, something the Mafia would NOT do), that I must be scum. Silly logic. And Animal isn't going to say I'm town because he's bloody well scum.
-
You have my support now. You were right about it not being Jonnas, but unfortunately I didn't know for sure that you were telling the truth in that you were town. Guys, I am not scum. Cube is very probably scum, for the reasons I have just given. I went for Jonnas for obvious reasons, logical reasons, so I don't see why I should be under any suspicion. You'll notice I really pushed for a lynch, getting everyone in to vote. This was because even if Jonnas turned out to be town, we'd at least gain that information and then be able to put the pieces together. Really pushing for a lynch when no one has been killed yet is completely non-Mafia. Why would the Mafia push so hard on what is 'effectively' day 1 (since no one died night 1). That's why Cube really wasn't happy to put a vote down, yet did so after it looked as if I really had to twist his arm to do it so he could blame me. I also called out mr-paul's quite scummy post at the time, and now looking back at it, it really doesn't make sense: And yet, now he argues that I am scummy and gives the impression that he will vote for me. No evidence on me whatsoever either. Clear bullshit, if he's so sure with Animal at the time then why would he not post in agreement with me and Tales here? Sloppy play - punish him! This to me screamed as classic blame seeding, calling into question the character of lots of players with that sort of feigned ignorance that never creeps into the posts of town players. Again, this came across as insincere and feigned ignorance, like a Mafioso trying to pretend he doesn't know how many Mafia they are and that he has genuine concern for the outcome of town. Animal has the hottest lead right now, come on people.
-
Yup Cube's reasoning is poor too, and vote splitting is just what I expected for someone who is Mafia. Just to iron that one out, people were voting for Jonnas long before I did and Cube, you and everyone else was sold on the reasoning for why he was the top candidate for being scum and also voted him, so nice try. You being very hesitant to lynch last but still doing it anyway screams Mafia to me. Anyway the logic still stands, if people think there is unlikely to be 2 roleblockers and Jonnas was apparently one of the roleblocked, then Animal has a very good chance of being scum. I don't buy it either and think he's 100% the one we should lynch tomorrow. Right now though Animal seems more likely though. So far in order of suspicion: Animal Peeps (and if game not won): Cube Vote splitting right now will probably result in Animal and Peeps getting away with it.
-
Oh snag. Sticking with our earlier theory, Tales apparently roleblocked Animal, and Peeps apparently roleblocked Jonnas. We know that Jonnas was town. So that leaves the other apparent roleblocked person, Animal, as a likely Mafioso. Then, if you connect the fact that Animal is likely Mafia, that means that Tales is likely not Mafia (for roleblocking him). Extrapolating further, if the whole 'no 2 town roleblockers' thing is still believed then that would pinpoint Peeps as the second Mafioso. If there's 3 Mafia then my third suspect would be Cube for the reason of being so very anxious of placing the last vote on Jonnas. That seems like a fairly Mafia way to act to me, but I'm not certain on this one. Vote: Animal

I can honestly say, I post here far more than I used to in my early years. So yeah...this is all due to you guys. You guys suck. :p
-
Are you involved in price comparison stuff? I once did a small stint working for Intoscape Ltd in Stockport (well, Heaton Chapel), where I had to match products up (exact match, like for like, etc).
-
Oh cool, I love Double Fine. Probably my favourite developer for alternative games. Really wish they made a sequel to Stacking, that was the best.
-
DuD! Yeah, where ya been man? :p I have a slot left open for you. I've spent a while drafting out all the roles so ready to start making videos using RPG Maker now.

I think it's important you encourage your apprentice when he's starting out but make sure he knows who's boss. You should definitely say "You think you can play me? Well let me tell you, I'm as hard to play as a Stradivarius."
