  1. Really loving my new Nexus 7. The display is so crisp, and everything feels a lot smoother. Well worth getting!
  2. I think Yvonne's character is more scummy. Roleblock and role check is a Mafia wet dream.
  3. No it isn't. When is the last time you paid over £40 for a standard version of a new game? Regardless of whatever the RRP is, £40 is the cheapest I could find for this game, which is even more than a game like GTAV (£35 on preorder). Edit: WW HD is even listed on Amazon for £50, so for all we know it's the same price as a new game.
  4. £40 is the price of a brand new game...not a remake. Most HD remakes are done in the same way as this these days. They've added only a fraction more content; it's mainly just the graphics.
  5. £40 is a bit expensive for a HD remake...shame they're not pricing this at around £20 like other remakes.
  6. @Yvonne and @Raining_again - both claim to be standard rolecops, right? Usually town will have one of these and not 2. So what keys are you both, and what is the flavour as to how you carry out your investigation?
  7. Self target could be a Mafia move to find out what his role writeup says. Yvonne said he found out Rummy is an investigator - yet Raining also says to be a role cop. I'm much more inclined to believe Raining. Yvonne hasn't said he found out Rummy was an alignment cop either (he just said 'investigator') even after I asked for clarification. This kind of vagueness is what I'd expect from the Mafia. Paul I'm not, I don't trust Rummy because of the way he revealed it and his key character doesn't add up with the role. Either way, if Jonnas turns out town and we lynch DuD, if DuD also isn't Mafia then we can safely say his result on either esequiel/DuD was a lie.
  8. For the record, I don't believe Rummy is a cop. Which makes me believe DuD more.
  9. I did that, then shot him, and he still lived and killed me. Best bet is to activate a boulder trap and let it wreck his shit, but he'll still come after you later. :p
  10. Vita will have the same thing I reckon. It did with Origins anyway - it looked and played amazingly on Vita.
  11. ^ No ReZ, it was also mentioned by Jonnas. If we lynch Jonnas and find out he can only send people off to kill, then him redirecting you can't be true. Could be that he can redirect, or can do both. If he can redirect and is town (although the evidence strongly suggests not) then you're in the clear and we can lynch DuD. If he turns out to be a Mafioso who can't do straight redirects, then the spotlight is on you. Can we get more people to weigh in/vote please.
  12. My tip is don't piss off the shopkeepers. :p
  13. Is this forum just a source of advertisement for you? :p
  14. Well, if it turns out he wasn't a redirector at all, and you're saying he redirected you...
  15. Just refreshed my memory on that star. Yeah I'd say that isn't as difficult - it's a lot slower and you have time to view the environment and plan your jumps. Livid dead was more like 'You're already running. Here are 5 fireballs, deal with it NAOWWW'. I loved the franticness if those levels in Origins, but it was pretty trial and error.
  16. You'd still say it was 'challenging' though, wouldn't you? It was not an easy level.
  17. DuD has to have been a target switcher on N1 as there was no other possibility for the outcome (and Raining confirmed his role). Jonnas confirmed targeting Magnus on N1, and Magnus confirmed being sent somewhere by Jonnas, yet Magnus did not use his ability on Danny - as Danny died instantly. Jonnas MUST have overridden Magnus's ability (ie. forced a kill and didn't redirect). ReZ claims to have been redirected to Cube so naturally if Jonnas falls as Mafia then ReZ could well be scum (also would explain lack of Jonnas vote). Jonnas needs to be lynched. Very probable Mafia, if not then it's DuD.
  18. You didn't even play the land of the living dead level! Admit it and stop talking BS! Watch that video and you will see how the game contains challenging content. Anyone can see that level is challenging. What's your PSN? Easy enough way to prove if you did that level. :p I'm sorry but what you're saying sounds so incredulous that I can't actually believe what you're saying.
  19. If you didn't get the plat then you didn't do it all, I'm not talking about running through the levels real fast or doing the minimum to get to the end (which is pretty easy to do in most games). I mean that it's challenging if you do all the extra parts that the game offers (extra levels, getting all lums, etc). Just getting to the end of each standard story level isn't really that challenging but it's not really meant to be. The cool thing about Origins is that the platinum mostly just required you to get everything in each level and to do each level (not huge amounts of arbitrary task assignments). And no way did you do the land of the livid dead in under 5 tries. I don't think I did it in less than 20 even. That level is a colossal trial and error process, with each segment needing tight precision of jumps and timings. It's one of those levels where you reach a tricky part and probably die, then next time you know how to deal with that part. Except there's loads of those parts in the level. You also don't get any hearts so it's one hit kill. In fact so ridiculous do I find your comment about this game not being challenging, much easier to just paste a video of some guy doing the land of the livid dead: That guy has some skill and you can see how much he dies. No way can anyone watch that video and think there is no challenge there! Madness.
  20. Did you get the plat? Or try valley of the livid dead? I bet you didn't complete the valley in less than 10 runs (which I'm going to say means there is an element of challenge).
  21. You don't find out what he investigates?
  22. I am become death.
  23. Rummy is probably Mafia, so I wouldn't read into his posts any. @DuD if you ended up doing something you didn't intend then you were probably redirected. Jonnas may well not say anything since people might hold off until they hear from him (which may never happen). @Yvonne what exactly did you learn about Rummy.
