  1. I am genuinely surprised you didn't gel with this, I would have thought this would be your ideal game. Hacking monsters to bits with one of the best battle systems ever, and a pretty neat story to go with it. Same with Dark Souls...that level design, bosses and network features! I am astonished... :p
  2. Why shouldn't we preach the good fight? Even if that occurs as 'preaching' in the form of teaching in schools, or public messages/celebrities speaking out or raising awareness? People in the past discriminated against black people (not just through actions, it was part of the common although not universal mindset of the time that a black person was of lower status) yet now far fewer believe such. It's unlikely anything would have changed if nobody preached their side or non-violently protested. I think people should be made aware of their ignorance and made to feel ashamed, personally. It is no different to a person bearing a hatred against a certain race of people.
  3. I think 'natural' serves merely as an opposite to the word 'artificial' (or in the case of the closed minded, what they perceive to be against a 'higher power's will'). Artificial would cover most of the things we said apart from, rightly, homosexuality. Which brings me back to those against it - I think people with that mindset should be challenged, rather than left be. It isn't really a logical thing to believe, and we should challenge the illogical.
  4. What is unnatural then?
  5. Really? So anything we purposefully build or develop, seeing as we developed it (as a beaver may develop a dam), becomes natural as 'developing' is a natural thing to do? What about gene splicing and cloning - we designed and developed those too!
  6. The Smelter Demon? He's skippable, btw. Could always come back later, or summon help. There's also an NPC summon (Lucatiel) for Smelter... it's like they're saying help is recommended. :p Anyone notice the increased number of bosses that have some way of making them easier before you go in? Let me tell you, walking into one of the bosses without neutralising a certain thing really didn't bode well for me... Oh and by the way, a Gyrm shield has 100% fire damage negation (but it's a heft shield). That's helpful for both bosses in Iron Keep.
  7. What I mean is, people can change their minds about groups they have prejudice against (now vs the 60s, discrimination of blacks). If somebody's way of thinking cannot be overridden at all, like you say, then I would question why that is... And if the 'unnatural' argument comes up specifically 'for' gay prejudice: we fly in metal machines, and survival of the fittest has mostly been thrown out of the window.
  8. There is, just generally not with people who are tools.
  9. To be fair, it's been a while for me too. I usually know what I want or I get it included in Plus. But it seems like something pretty basic that should be there.
  10. It feels like they're saying their games are so good that they don't need demos, somewhat like how they hardly reduce the cost of some of their big titles too. They need to step up to the plate. That's really bad if so. It sounds like they don't have enough confidence in their own teams to produce bug-free/representative demos.
  11. I think I have maybe been on the e-shop once on the Wii U, just as a test when I got it, so I don't remember... They don't do demos? Christ, that is bad.
  12. Definitely. There is another room called the Zen room that has a different puzzle in it that I could do if I went again. That room is supposedly Japanese themed and harder... (<40% successful escape rate). But there are 3 rooms all with the same puzzle inside that we went into all at the same time (John Monroe Room). Only thing I'll say, you have to book at least a few weeks in advance, and with a full team it costs £20 each.
  13. Yeah, very impressive for a remake of a 12 year old game (well, 2 remakes). Such great games though, they really do deserve it. It was also £15 off for the PS4 + Infamous bundle on Amazon (which I got). It didn't even need the saving tbh, but I'm sure it helped even more.
  14. Cool. Don't have it yet, but good to know.
  15. Yup. I remember the day I got it, on release, was my last day of work experience. My god, I feel old. :p Also that updated music for wandering around Besaid is amazing.
  16. It needs a USB dongle? That seems weird, you'd think it would be designed to work without one (this and the camera would mean no ports left for charging your controller). I've had it on preorder for a while on GameStop, apparently they say there'll be stock mid-April (I don't fancy paying over the odds to get it elsewhere).
  17. Yup. I don't think it'd be 'stooping to his level' to have people picket his funeral like people are saying. I would call that sweet irony.
  18. "Blogs are so 2002". What?!!
  19. This game is incredible, really liking my PS4 too. Dat new tech feel... I love how easy it is to move around in Infamous, like Assassin's Creed on steroids.
  20. The PS4 is here.... Now to try and stop playing Dark Souls, heh.
  21. Sorry I mean just over. The PS3 version was just slightly under that with a code at one point but no longer.
  22. What about the tasteful innuendo - Kimahri have small horn. Kimahri not big Ronso...
  23. @Cube If you like, I can be the Microsoft Office Paperclip and harass you to resume the game again after every night phase? :p
  24. Ah, right. Not much use for me since I have a smart TV, but I can imagine it'll be pretty useful for others.
  25. She's already primed... A 1TB solid state hybrid drive. Aww yeah.
