Yep, I have never in my life responded to a read receipt and never will.

7 is usually when I eat, can we say 8? Plx?
-
I'm up for VoG. Available in about 10 min.

By the point you have all the skulltulas, money is essentially worthless in OoT. In MM, you get the Mask of Truth, letting you get a heart piece more easily, and the biggest wallet, needed to get the all night mask and another heart piece. I get what he's saying - it's more thought through.
-
That's sad. :/
-
Yes. Except for DSi only or DSi enhanced games, all regular DS games work on any 3DS.
-
Don't worry about me, do the raid, I'll most likely be about some time after 9. If it turns out I'm actually going to be available earlier then I could always join you guys.
-
I might be on a bit later for nightfall now (maybe after 9), maybe not though. Will you guys still be around?
-
@Rummy since I know you were looking to buy MM, it's £27 here.
-
A cruel hand moves the pieces... Getting that arachnid for pure cosmetic reasons though.
-
MM, definitely!

Got the truth. Already had that. Fackin laads.

It's fun mostly because it's actually fun. To me, and I know to quite a few others on the forum, loot is a bonus. You play for the social element, anything else is gravy. It has a really quite long main game before you even need to think about buying DLC (largely due to the raid). -

It's not the same type of game though. One is an FPS, not supplemented by subscription funded content, the other is a subscription based MMORPG. I don't see why you're really finding fault with what I originally said. From what I can tell, your argument hinges on them using drawn out tactics to make people play for so long. In actual fact, it's just a really fun game to play with friends. People buy the DLC because they want to do the raids - the content. Because it's largely a pretty fun game. -
That's cool. Which train company do you work for? Have they given you that talk about people jumping in front of trains yet?

@Jonnas not true, it is unprecedented because those examples are subscription based point and click MMORPGs. This is a game with no subscription (the types of games less supplemented with content) and an online FPS. The gameplay is completely different, ergo it's a different type of game, ergo me saying "it's unprecedented for this type of game to stay popular so long" (I believe the point you were challenging) holds true. My point was with regards to getting people to play an FPS on a console for so long. I suppose the closest thing to this is Borderlands, which had online co-op, loot and was an FPS, but that's seen nowhere near the playtime for me even though you could spend ages getting multiple high rank weapons on that too. Destiny may also have EXP as the driving force, but most of us on the forum enjoy playing it while we voice chat with one another. The raids have been spectacular, like nothing in a console game thus far. In terms of a co-operative experience it really delivers with the raids, and I can tell you we enjoy them not just for the loot! The game does get frustrating when you don't get the loot you want, and hardcore players are running out of content, but I don't see why we should suddenly re-analyse the game that has brought us a hell of a lot of fun in the hundreds of hours before that. It feels a bit silly arguing this with (some of) you guys anyway, because you don't really know if the gameplay is any good or not. It seems to me like people are very receptive to the cons they've heard while seemingly ignoring the pros of this game (of which there are many). Try before you slag off, etc. -

Not every review at all. Would you like my review? I'm guessing you're taking numbers again to try and make a point, while not playing the games yourself? Eurogamer were very positive about the game, and have it pinned as a 'recommended' game. I actually couldn't agree more with their concluding remarks: And you know what? Ridiculous numbers of people still play the game, 6 months on. It's unprecedented for this type of game - you'd normally expect far fewer people to be playing so long after launch. -

No other game has had me playing as much as Destiny. To the people saying it's a let down, let someone who has actually played it loads tell you otherwise. There's a massive following on this forum - more people still playing it right now than I'd say are playing the new Monster Hunter that came out just the other week. Also @Ronnie, Watch Dogs is also on Wii U, don't forget. -
I upgraded and sold my old 3DS XL today for £95. Totally worth the upgrade if you sell the old one, since the 3D is really quite poor on the previous model.

Nah, if it was that bad they wouldn't have spent ages playing. I have put 300+ hours in myself, there's no way I'd do that if it was a game I hated! Games I hate I don't play for long; if a game isn't entertaining then why play it? The game's problems aren't down to the actual gameplay/combat. It's really well polished in that regard. It's the lack of content, the cost of DLC, the shafting Bungie is doing of players with bug fixing and loot giving. -

Dude, Titanfall and Destiny are not turds. At least, if Destiny is a turd then it must be a turd laced with opiates or something. I'd agree with content being a problem (as in, we've run out). But as an FPS goes, the polished gameplay is just unmatched for me. -

Your main gaming preference is Nintendo? No shit! I'm all fine with that, what annoys people is when you start trash talking games that you don't have a clue about, and continue to do so even when people put powerful counter examples in front of you. Have some humility, educate yourself and just maybe pop your head out that Nintendo box once in a while. -

I saw that, I wasn't sure why they split resolution and processing power into 2 (since aren't they ultimately both resulting in better looking games?) -

Ronnie, the thing I proved was that you didn't know what you were talking about. You argue that Western AAA games mostly all have grey colour palettes, and I showed you colourful Western AAA games among others. The next Elder Scrolls, Witcher 3, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Unity, Destiny - all AAA games packed with colour, yet you claim AAAs are mostly all using greys. On the other hand, games like Bloodborne use dark colours wonderfully well to generate the Victorian London combined with hell atmosphere. Your defence was 'those screenshots show nothing, they're not representative'. Truly the chant of a defeated man; how can you claim such a thing when you haven't played the games to challenge my post? To top it off, you then use single screenshots to argue Nintendo's corner, after slagging off my use of single screenshots to make my point. Truly the action of a hypocrite, or a fool. You decide. To refer to your previous post: I'm just pointing that out to you as you're now admitting AC actually does have colour (you know, one of those big 'Western AAA' games that you think are mostly grey), presumably after being confronted with some screenshots and other people telling you the same as me. The first AC Unity screenshot I provided was at night, so of course it's going to be dark. Have you never similarly seen it go dark at night in any Nintendo game, like Zelda, by any chance? The other screenshots I put forward show lush colours in use in Unity throughout the day. The point of my post was to show balance - I could have chosen the most colourful image for AC Unity rather than night time, but as I said to you, I wasn't cherry picking any images. People are entitled to their opinions, but when said opinions are not grounded in knowledge or experience then they're pretty easy to challenge.
