  1. Invited you, you're in.
  2. Well that's great. And if you want to message them to start a game? I think it's fair to say that an off topic musing was exacerbated by you here - let's keep on topic of PS4 again?
  3. After playing on the Wii U with my Pro controller I never have any idea when someone comes online. And there's no messaging.
  4. That's pretty harsh, bob. They'd go mad for that in the Congo, you know.
  5. Zell got one a game or two after, but not the rest of us.
  6. Me, @Shorty and @Zell came face to face with this top 1% rank player...and lived. This was our final match on the ticket, we went flawless with no mercy use. Was epic. Shorty apologised afterwards for starting a teabag sesh, we were pretty ecstatic by that point!
  7. I've used it and it works pretty well. The only thing is that it's not great with games that require precise/quick use of controls (like FPS, beat 'em ups). For puzzles, RPGs, strategy games etc it works pretty great.
  8. Have a great birthday brah.
  9. That's kinda weird that they went with that. Seems like Zelda should have just sent Link back to a bit before Ganny seized power at earliest available opportunity rather than the end of the game. Defeating Ganny and sealing him away seemed...kinda pointless. [/comic book guy]
  10. It was on the Wii VC, not sure about Wii U though.
  11. Pretty sure Ganondorf being sealed away exists in the new timeline, else there'd be no point to the game and the world would still be fucked. Link is sent back in time to when he was a kid but Ganny is still sealed up.
  12. Well that sounds like a situation that needs rectifying immediately.
  13. Man. I could eat a Hawaiin right now. With a garlic and herb dip.
  14. #inferatreet Heavy Ran is moar fun.
  15. Nah seriously, excuse my drunken stare, but, welcome to the forums. Nice to have a new person with interesting things to say on the forum.
  16. It's pretty shit tbh. As a lover of Resi 4 and 5, it's such a letdown.
  17. Who asked for Resident Evil 6? Anyone? Didn't think so.
  18. Pokemon sunbro or moonface. Which to pick?
  19. This game looks incredible. Like a cut above anything else we've seen so far this generation.
  20. This looks really cool. Might wait to see if it comes to Plus free but still looks like the kind of game I'd enjoy.
  21. After the success of the Wii it's not hard to imagine that people thought they would score again. Surely they would not think it would have crashed and burned like it did...else why back it? I don't think anyone could have realised how little the public would care about Nintendo's new gamepad. As well as that, did EA know how much they would sell it for (ie. a lot), or that Nintendo themselves would not support the gamepad properly? Points 1 and 3 are down to the spec of the console (cost too much because of the spec, and didn't appeal because of the spec itself - a gamepad), which is why I said the spec was a major reason for its failure. Again...who would buy the Wii U version and not instead buy it for a competitor console, with fleshed out online infrastructure and existing pools of friends? I'll bet some people...but not that many.
  22. If there was good money to be made porting titles over the Wii U then I believe EA would have done it. I don't believe that soured relations are the reason why EA stopped doing it. If relations were that soured then I don't see why they are on board now for NX. You have to look at the initial 300 quid cost of the console with last gen specs as a major reason (among others) why not many people picked up the console. It was...unexciting, and for the price, undesirable. The kinds of people who want to play EA games also often have a MS/Sony console anyway (and would probably prefer to buy it on those consoles for the online functionality; a spec of those consoles in itself), so I doubt there was much incentive for them to continue to bring their games to Wii U. Their initial run of ports that they did probably told them all they wanted to know.
  23. Cool, 10 PM UK time then.
  24. I think it makes a big difference. Companies like EA left Wii U development because of the kind of spec console it was (low power, online capabilities, expensive because of gamepad, the gamepad itself; and the effect these had on its image). If Nintendo have not met certain standards this time then it stands to reason that developers might be less enthusiastic about pitching a new idea to them. Nintendo should let them known more about their new consoles as an advertisement for themselves, if anything.
