  1. More fuel for the fire Listed on Blockbusters system too
  2. Didn't EB have a Wii they could test them on? Perhaps explain to the other shops whats happened before you buy from them, see if you can get them to write something on the reciept.
  3. If it comes out at a budget price (say £20) then it'll be cheaper than the 2nd hand copies on ebay and in Game. Hasn't the duck hunt game that gamestop revealed that dodgy PC duck hunt simulator. The fact that they've taken it off could be because it was a mistake or it could be because capcom told them to. Still gonna look to get the GC version this weekend I think, just hope it's in some second hand bin somewhere.
  4. Aww man, I was thinking of picking up RE4 for the GC this weekend. Now I'm not sure whether I should wait or not. Grrr.
  5. They could weigh sonic down (make him have to pull a chain chomp), give him the outside lane or maybe a couple of loops to go through.
  6. IGN Blog by a writer a few people seem to hate
  7. I don't know if I should mention his name, but a certain IGN Writer mentioned online for this game in his blog. I think four player is almost deffinately going to be in there.
  8. I daresay thats possible, considering throughout Wii Sports and Wii Play there bodies change. And of course the very fetching waistcoats in WarioWare.
  9. This sounds wicked, there hasn't been a decent track and field type game in ages. I hope Miyamoto is involved somewhere in the development process to prevent sega messing things up, they haven't had the best of reps of late. Also, I don't know if this will happen but, as they have the Olympics license then I assume they could put real athletes which is unlikely to happen. But they could put Mii versions of real athletes in the game which would be pretty cool.
  10. Yeah didn't think of that, and the wrist strap would be at the top too, so you'd either have it flapping in your face whilst prancing about, or you would have to dislocate your wrist to fit it through the strap and hold the remote upside down.
  11. I think the mic will plug into the bottom of the wii remote and you hold it like a normal mic. It will probably have some sort of plug in it so you can attach the nunchuk to the mic. The game looks like it might be quite good fun, from the screen shot I'd say you move the nunchuck up, down, left and right in time with the music.
  12. Well a Mic is pretty much confirmed, Disney's High School Musical game will use one. The friend code stuff makes sense, but they are just rumors I suppose.
  13. My main problem with GTA:SA was the ages it took to drive between places in between missions. I'm all for suspending disbelief if it adds to the gameplay. Going to keep an eye on this, and the other GTA style games. Might be an ideal pressie for my girlfriend, although she still hasn't completed San Andreas. Those flying sections get her every time, lol.
  14. What if you buy the game, and then it gets ported a bit later? Would you sell the game just because it was availible elsewhere?
  15. I love the "Drop" game, just so simple and clever. And a good way to untwist your strap when you've just done one of the twisty games like "Broil."
  16. Got the game friday, managed to complete the story mode twice that evening. Once on my friend's wii, so we could play multiplayer, and then when I got home. Have managed to unlock all of the mini games, and unlocked the poyo S game or whatever it's called. Anyone know if you get anything for collecting all of the pose cards? I'm not seeing anymore gaps in the map. Someone asked how to play the dance mini game, each time getting harder. If you go to the form museum in the bottom left of the map, you can replay all of the mini games you've unlocked. Playing all three levels of difficulty, and you can adjust the speed of them too.
  17. Just looking on Mean Machines VC List and it looks like we have the same amount of games on each system. So there isn't too much favouritism there to be honest.
  18. My NoE account has always had my VC downloads showing on that list. Although Mario 64 hasn't shown up on mine, only F-Zero and the Internet Channel.
  19. The other day I copied some Mii's to my wii remote and took them round to my friends. Copied the Mii's over and played a few games. Later on we looked at the Mii Parade and saw a Mii that was in my Parade, but his Wii isn't connected to the internet at all. And this Mii wasn't one of the ones I copied over. So I have no idea how it got onto his parade.

    Kororinpa

It has a European release date Go Nintendo Link
  21. Does anyone have any idea what the multiplayer is like? All the video clips I've seen seem to just have one person at a time doing stuff while everyone laughs at them. If anyone has seen any split screen videos/screen shots could you post links here? Just imagined all four players in a row doing squats, this game is going to be wicked.
  22. The only way around it would be to not re-centre the cursor after letting go of the "Aim" button, this may of course mean that screen starts scrolling after you let go of the button. Dosn't marvel use the tilt on the nunchuck to alter the camera?
  23. The only problem I can see with your control method revolves around the letting go of the "aim" button. If you press this aim button and point at say the top left of the screen and let go of the button. You've essentially re-centred where your aiming to be the top left, which could be a bit counter-intuitive. Especially in the heat of battle you end up doing this a few times and your not pointing at sensor bar any more. I have a couple of ideas, one I thought of a couple of weeks back the other just now while reading your post. 1. Use the Nunchuck for all movement and looking Either use the tilt for starfeing or looking and the analog stick for the other. So the stick can be used to look left ,right ,up and down and tilting the nunchuck can control strafeing, or vise versa. This frees up your other hand to aim at the whole screen all of the time. You can have some sort of deadzone on the tilt to allow some slight movements if need be. Circle starfeing would be as easy as tilting in one direction and moving the stick in the other. 2. Point where you want to aim (not thought this through that much so go easy ) When you move the cursor on screen you automatically start to look in that direction. So if you see a guy off to the right you aim at him and start shooting, the view starts to pan round to centre the dude on the screen. Keeping your aim on him all the time. The further to the sides of the screen you aim the faster the panning of the view becomes. This way still has a similar problem to your idea, but it may not seem as counter-intuitive as your not pressing a button. What do you guys think?
  24. By the sounds of the madcatz Wii component cable announced in the states in August they are aiming to have a cable out better than the official one. It was listed at $60 compared to the official at $30 and called "Premium" which to me looks like there aiming at the AV enthusiast. Cables can make a difference, although that difference will only be really noticeable when you have the hardware to back it up. Thats when your comparing like for like BTW i.e component vs component. Oh and there's usually a happy medium when it comes to cables, on most peoples home systems you might be able to tell the difference between a £5 component cable and a £20 one. But probably not notice any difference between a £20 one and a £80 one. So if you have a very decent AV setup then the madcatz one will probably make a difference, otherwise you'll probably be best with the nintendo one (which looks gold plated but probably not individually shielded).
  25. Correct it does look like a VGA cable, but it's a D-Cable. I can't post links yet but do a search on wikipedia for "D4 video connector" for an example of what one looks like. It's a popular connection in japan on the same par as component. Even if you get the official Component lead you'll still need a component switch so you wont have to keep swapping between your 360 and your Wii.
