  1. It's not a 2007 line-up, the heading on the press release says "Summer Lineup." So this doesn't rule Mario Galaxy from 2007, it doesn't confirm it either though.
  2. According to Wiki(So may not be accurate) Prime 1: NA (Nov 02), JP (Feb 03), EU (Mar 03) 5 Months Prime 2: NA (15 Nov 04), EU (26 Nov 04), JP (May 05) 11 Days Hunters: NA (Mar 06), EU (May 06), JP (Jun 06) 2 Months I wont mention Pinball on the DS. Looking at Prime 2, hopefully it wont be too long after the US. I suppose it depends if they hold back to US release to translate the EU version, or if they've been translating as they go.
  3. I think you'll find that I will be the one to beat you all.
  4. I checked out that video from jeux-fance again and it didn't have two people playing against each other with the same captain. But it didn't seem to be the case that you couldn't do it, as you decide your teams at the same time but the oponents team isn't shown until after you've selected yours. Also on this video it's shown that you can have a timed match or a goal limit.
  5. I think I lean more on the photo side as I'm pretty much the newest member who wants in on the tourney. I'll probably end up taking photo's anyway, I've gotta find something to do with my new mobile. I have a vaugue feeling that in that jeux-france video they were both playing with the same captain. Just downloading the video now so will check once it's downloaded. If we're comming up with team names I may have to go with Waluiggy United, five guess's to who my team captain might be.
  6. Sounds good to me, although I think it would be a good idea to take photo's. That way if there is a disagreement it can always be backed up with proof. As of yet we don't know if there will be a history of past matches so you may need to take a photo straight after the match. If there's a way to look up past matches against someone then that shouldn't be an issue.
  7. Hey I'll play in the tourney. I'm not pre-ordering though, I'm gonna check out the local supermarkets on day of release. I can never bring myself to trust an online store to get the game to me on release day. And Asda and Tesco have been good to me so far, with Excite Truck, Eledees and Wario Ware. Close to online prices too
  8. I mean the dude on the box arts not much of a duck hunter, he's aiming in the air when there's one right in front of him. And all while this is going on he's about to be eaten by a giant dog that's sneaked up on him. Talk about one with nature. Oh and in case anyone was a bit confused by the title your told what the game entails "Hunting and Retrieving Ducks" no shit sherlock.
  9. I wouldn't get your hopes up guys. PC Version Video Review
  10. It's only region locked on random games, if you have an american friend you can still play against him with his "Mii-Code." http://gonintendo.com/?p=17257
  11. I think there is a place for realism and there is a place for artistry. For instance my friend has a PS3 and I had a few goes on Motorstorm, which he described as "It's like excite truck but without the stupid high jumps." Which to me says "It's like excite truck without the best bits." Anyway I played it with it's realistic physics and was quite honestly bored, now I've only played two tracks but what I did play I felt was too slow. You pressed boost and it just didn't seem to increase your speed. Graphically both Excite truck and motorstorm go for a more realistic presentation and of course Motorstorm wins that hands down, but on the gameplay front Excite Truck goes for playability and in my opinion is the much better game for it. So there is a place for realism, but if it gets in the way of gameplay then it has no place in a game.
  12. You might get away with it, just have to set the PC to share its internet connection. It might be worth checking out some networking sites to see if you can set your PC up to dynamically give your Wii an IP Address. I'm not sure if it will work with a fixed IP, it might do though. Only problem with that is the same as the wireless dongle's, you'll need to have your PC on when you want to get online with the Wii.

    Eledees!

Yup that's where I got it from, asda might have it for a similar price but my local Asda didn't have it.

    Eledees!

Just bought it from Tesco for £35 (Cheapest I've seen at retail), have to wait until I've finished work for the day before I can try it though. Grrr it's so tempting to just go downstairs and try it out, but I must be strong.

    Eledees!

I think I might be shelling out for this, this weekend. It depends how expensive it is in Asda.
  16. EA Have release some Pal launch dates http://gonintendo.com/?p=17147 Look official to me, but not sure about the source. Hmm and just noticed it's sims 2: pets and not My Sims, didnt even realise Pets was on it's way to the Wii. Oh and Cube if I was a younger child I'd have nightmares over that screenshot, where are her eyes? Maybe cosmic families have evolved enough that we don't need sight anymore, either that or big fringes are all the rage.
  17. I agree but I think they meant it in more of a motion sensing way, which kinda makes sense IMHO. And chances are that it wont use the GC controller anyway it would probably use the classic controller as an alternate control method if any it does go that route. EDIT:- Just found this, looks like the game has been in development since October 05. Gamespot News Item
  18. It was announced as a Launch game, but before the controller was even revealed. I think it was at the unvailing of the "Revolution." I don't think actual development started until around E3 last year, as there was talk of the remote not being suitable for smash brothers so they're not sure what to do with the game. And then a little while after, it was announced to be in development and we were told to not throw away are GC controllers.
  19. If anyone is interested in playing the 1st game, it's availiable on abandonware site. I would provide a link on here to it but I'm not sure if it would get me in trouble. The laws of abanonware being a bit sketchy and all, although the site I visit seems to be pretty much above board.
  20. I would also like to point out that Mario Galaxy has been out in playable form since E3 last year, and all that we've seen of Brawl is a few trailers.
  21. How about adding this with a [?] Eledees 3rd May http://gonintendo.com/?p=16292
  22. A quick tip for the "Z" Uber. You don't have to move the remote down at all a simple Right, Left, Right motion will do the trick. Remember to keep to remote level, don't twist it. Oh and as someone said a little further up the page don't think of it as pointing at the screen and drawing with a cursor. Keep the remote straight to the screen when you do the motions (although I know you don't have to be facing the screen at all to do the ubers)
  23. Ah yes sorry about that, kinda misread the question. It won't have Mii's on the pitch, but your Mii will apear next to your team on the League. Not sure if I remember correctly from the video's but I think you can mix and match your team mates. ie two toads and one koopa. I only played the GC version briefly so I don't know if you could do that before anyway.
  24. Yes it will include Mii's http://gonintendo.com/?p=15445 From a German Magazine interview.
  25. Oh well I've just ordered RE4 for the GC from ebay, something to play over the easter weekend. I can always trade it in if/when the Wii version comes out.
