  1. One of the best levels was the one where you could all be tanks, and then the trick would be to stay on the start line and wait for your opponents to pull slightly ahead before blowing them up. Another great one was to choose the level where you are all ice-cream trucks, and holding down the horn to play Greensleeves on repeat to thoroughly annoy everyone. Bumping into the whoopie cushion to make fart noises. That bit on the school level where there was a really long ruler, and you could push someone off if they happened to be next to you. Memories, memories!
  2. Had an awesome weekend. Firstly, got together with some friends and played Cards Against Humanity, which i've been wanting to play for ages. It was absolutely hilarious. Best answer of the night: "After the earthquake, Sean Penn brought Sean Penn to the people of Haiti." Then on Saturday went to London to see the Book of Mormon, which was also brilliant. Then spent the nice sunny day today in the park and eating a pub lunch. Most pleasant.
  3. Fuck. Yes. I remember playing 8 players with this with 2 in each controller. Absolutely chaotically hilarious. It had its faults, but it was grand.
  4. Went to a wedding last weekend and my friend had forgotten his cufflinks (i had buttons) so we made him some out of a couple of keychain links.
  5. I think most of those people are in it for the prestige or the money, or are really interested in cars to begin with. I can see why a lot of people apply. I never applied there as I don't really like cars and don't care that much about prestige. Money wise, if rather be earning less and not have to work weekends/evenings and put up with ridiculous beaurocracy and overbearing managers. @Zell what department was your project in?
  6. One of those is a nod, and one is a Nod.
  7. Actually the one in Gaydon. It may well be nice to work there, but i don't think it would be for me. Just too many people everywhere, and so many managers and red tape and forms and no one knows what's going on half the time. My current job is all in one room, and there are only 7 of us. It's so much more relaxed. I can't make a proper comparison obviously, but i'm happy where I am.
  8. I work for a small engineering consultancy. This week we went to the Jaguar headquarters for a project and it made me realise how I never ever want to work there. Ever.
  9. I will cup (providing a miracle does not occur and I fail to reach the knock out rounds)
  10. If I just wanted to browse the internet, I'd get a Raspberry Pi. Far cheaper.
  11. He sounds like he deserves a much worse nickname than Arse.
  12. That's interesting @widelegjeans, and definately pertinent at this juncture.
  13. Pfff, for some managers anyway. Others are blessed with more awesome teams straight away.
  14. That was probably because he was using his fantastic moustache as a soup strainer. A faux pas if ever I saw one.
  15. There are now TWO pug themed pubs to choose from within walking distance of me. Excellent.
  16. It is not acceptable drahkon. This is supposed to be the good stuff thread, not the horrifically revolting stuff thread.
  17. It's making my brain hurt from looking at it. Why does it go up in 0.3 and 0.4 increments? Why does it start at 1 and end at 4? Is that supposed to be like a 1st down to a pass (4th)? Argh! I'm going to go and look at a nice standard scoring system out of 100 to calm myself down.
  18. What an utterly ridiculous system. That's something I'd expect from America, but not Germany. I am disappoint.
  19. What on earth is a 2.7? Out of 5? 3? Log(10)?
  20. Welp, seems like my charge for fourth place would appear to be over. At least I can now focus on training my new 16-3 youth striker (with a training cone no less) into a mighty destroyer of defences.
  21. Ooh ooh ooh, I must do this thing.
