A thursday is a strange day to release a game as usually they come out on a Friday here. One good thing is I get paid on the wednesday so my purchasing funds will be nice and healthy. I guess living at the arse end of the planet Nintendo don't really care about us here. All I can do is wait patiently like I've done all my life so I'm used to it.

We've just had our release date pushed back to the 20th of September. Hate living here sometimes. No advertising, stink release dates, not even any friends to play with cause they are all too busy humping Sony's gear. Sucks to be me. Love a good whinge though.
-
Now if they could just take over New Zealand too I'd be real happy. Sadly I'm still a closeted Nintendo fan here, where's the support? (sniff)

@... How did you find out the name of the elevator enemy? I know the game mentions a few boss' names through the memos collected in the game but I didn't know he was called "Verdugo" Very interesting. I love learning the names of enemies and the like in games.

I was playing through again last night and I made another discovery which I didn't think was possible. That huge cuccoon thing with the insects can be completely destroyed. I never managed it with conventional weapons (although I didn't really try) but the laser weapon just kills it and showers the floor in sparkly goodness. This game just keeps on surprising me. Wonderful!

A lovely little fillet o fish from Maccers always hits the spot. And a chicken burger with pineapple and bacon from BK. Lovely.

I really want to give Mercenaries a good going over but I find it to be very stressful and my blood pressure goes haywire. Deep breaths and preperation I think is what is needed for this part of the game. As for Krauser, well my beefed up freak with pecks for Africa, I'm gonna give you a slash like you've never experienced. Don't worry Ashley, I'm comin' for ya.
-
I remember reading a previous post where someone said to kill Krauser using just the knife but I found that in between swings he came at me with his big spiky thing and sliced me clean in half. Got very hot and flustered doing it that way so gave up. I'll try again though, must be a timing thing. This game has such terrific replay value.

Jsut finished this game on Pro mode. Damn it's hard but soooo satisfying once you do. Having Ashley wear the armour costume helps alot as the clumsy Ganado's fool around with her alot and you can pick them off easily that way. Krauser is a bitch to kill - had to use the magnum to finish him off. I died 101 times all up. Playing through again with all my weapons maxed out and saving up for the Chicago Typewriter and Infinate Rocket launcher. Has anyone seen the little surprise when you return to the lake (from where you orginally started) and go back up the path? Here doggy, wanna play fetch?

I have a total of 10 games so far. They are: Wii Sports (so much fun) Zelda - Twilight Princess (great game although the music was a bit lacking in oomph) Wii Play (another remote yay) Warioware - Smooth Moves (great use of the Remote and some cool music) Splinter Cell - Double Agent (hideous controls) Excite Truck (gorgeous clouds in that game) Rayman - Raving Rabbids (good humour) The Godfather (a decent length game and very enjoyable) Red Steel (after the first 3 or 4 levels this game is actually a lot of fun) Resident Evil 4 (a classic reborn - got it for the Seperate Ways mission) My next game will be Super Paper Mario. Can't wait.

Just saw this on a local web site. It it true? http://www.gamesman.co.nz/news.php?id=3217

I have the volume on my Remote turned all the way up as with some games I can't hear the noises it makes. Resident Evil 4 sounds are very quiet but then I play Twilight Princess and they are much louder. Maybe I should just turn down my stereo system but I want to feel the bass effects. Whats a boy to do

The Shamen's En-Tact album reminds me of Super Mario World. Enigmas first album (MCXCAd whatever) reminds me of Super Castlevania 4. I never listened to the music while playing the games I just picture the levels when ever I hear certain songs. My mind is a pea soup of strangeness.

Bring back the feather and Ghost house tracks.

I love this show, the last episode is going to air tomorrow night over here. I'd love to share a prsion cell with Wentworth Miller, Sucre and C-Note. So hot. T-Bag is the funniest villian. Love him too. Bring on Season 3.
-
I want a Castlevania game. Come on Konami - bring me some Wii Remote whip loving. I actually enjoyed the N64 versions so a new one with decent graphics and spooky music would rock my world. I'm going funny in the pants just thinking about it.

What are you doing to replace games in the "draught"?

Trying to get golds in Wii Sports and Wii Play games. Some of those are soooo hard. -
I haven't strictly come out to my family yet. They know I'm gay (well my sisters do) but I've made a point of not announcing it them. They didn't tell me they were straight so I figured if they had half a brain they could figure it out. I'm not the butchest guy in the world. Old home videos are so embarrasing to watch. I work in one of the most gay friendly environments and I'm really thankful for that. On another note I keep seeing this symbol on some peoples signatures 3>3>3>3>3> - What does it mean? Sorry for my ignorance.

Hello everyone, with the current popularity of Nintendo reaching new heights I have noticed an increasing amount of Nintendo goods appearing in TV shows. The other week I was watching Two and a half Men and the kid got a brand spanking new Wii for xmas and the box was shown in several shots for about 5 minutes. Then last night I was watching the War at Home (please forgive my taste in TV as I can only get 2 channels where I live so viewing is rather restricted) and the youngest son was happily playing on his lovely shiny DS Lite. Another Gay Movie shows a bored little homo playing on his GBA-SP. It seems everywhere there is a Nintendo product to be played. This is clearly a good thing so I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing? Apologies if this is not the apprpriate place for this thread but I didn't really know where else to put it.

So what do you all think of the God Father?
kiwikid replied to The Lillster's topic in Nintendo Gaming
For those of you who have completed the Godfather and become the Don of NY and have no further objectives to complete - including favours - did you feel the game did not have a real ending? I have completed the game and am wandering around feeling very lonely with no real sense of satisfaction. I have only completed 91% of the game as I didn't collect moneybags or blow up all the safes so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. If anyone can shed some light on the matter I'd be extremely grateful. Cheers -
I had a goat called Ziggy when I was a kid And my dad hit her with his van driving home one night. She was retarded after than and ran sidways when she got excited and tried to gouge out my legs with her horns. I loved her so much. I think the guitar is an over rated instrument. I love Yello music. Can't find any once else in the world as passionate about them as me. I have difficulty talking to people and shake alot, some sort of nervous disposition probably.

I'm really enjoying this game. It took me a while to get used to it as I've never played a game of this type before. I now want to go and conmplete all the little side quests such as collecting moneybags and blowings up safes. It's proving quite difficult to find all the moneybags in the mission levels. The graphics are fine and I love the voice acting. I'd definately recommend this. It took me over 50 hours to become the ultimate "Don" so it's got good play time. -
I managed to finish the Mirror cup a few days ago with all S ratings and unlock the final "Crazy" truck. Now all thats left to do is the challenges in Super hard mode and a mirror mode I presume.

What other games have Intelligent Systems made? They made Warioware - Smooth Moves and I loved that. I may have to look out for some more games by them.
