I've only experienced slow down in this game once and it was only by some strange miraculous chance that myself and 4 other racers happened to be going across a gap while boosting, but other than that this game always ran flawlessly. Voice acting doesn't rock, but this game is the only game where I went out of my way to purchase the OST, plus this game bagged me the LOZ collectors edition. F-zero GX the game that keeps giving and giving.

I'm more of a fox on fire type (firefox) myself, but the basis is that there are better alternatives to i.e out there that take away the hurt and pain i.e will cause you for nothing.

Well all I can say is when you throw a fish back into the see, you most likely will never catch it again. Well since we're on the subject, when my lady decided to go chasing after someone else at the end of September, I have to admit its like a sword was thrust in my chest, but I was being kept alive and tortured, as much as I wanted to die I couldn't. Then one day I eventually did, and became a heartless soul. Still not sure what was more painful, dying or being dead. But after death will eventually come rebirth, and your equaliser. In my case the guy she left me for wasn't worth it, she's now pregnant with his child and he's pretty much gone bye bye. Now when she was looking to come running back I had already moved on, wasn't in the same place she left me.

Anyway in regards to the mobo its a great one in my opinion. The DS3L version doesn't support raid but no big deal if you won't use it

Yes, even though I didn't pay extra for delivery there have been times when I expect something to arrive 5 days later i.e Friday but then it comes on a tuesday. In terms of assembly you won't get very far without everything being in there, you might just get a few beeps and nothing else. As far as I know windows doesn't take kindly to new hardware and you normally have to reactivate windows if you replace so many different components. With xp it was that you can change about 6 components or 1 network card + 4 components before you'd have to re activate your os. Not sure what Vista does.

Well probably not a sale as such but they to have a lot of price cuts and offers like most businesses do, so I would say its fair to wait until after Christmas, nothing to lose really.

Trust me the prices are that bad. In terms of ebuyer just catalogue a few mobos and watch them until the price drops to something your willing to pay. Although the majority of my catalogued items have only gone one way in price and that's up.

With Ebuyer sometimes you don't have to wait the whole 5 working days there have been times when my package has turned up 1-2 days later.

Its most likely down to what revision of that particular mobo it is. My mobo is revision 2.1, which when doing some research since I don't have a 45nm processor apparently does work out of the box. Even so I think the only problem you'd have is if you ended up with a rev 1.1 board that has been sitting around in a warehouse for a long time. Board I have is the GA-P35-DS3

Yup I brought a p35 gigabyte board in July maybe and the box is covered in 45nm optimised propaganda

I used to be an AMD guy myself, but as of late AMD can get their stuff together, so unless price is your deciding factor I would and have gone Intel.

My two cents, for your dvd drive maybe spend an extra few quid and find one with light scribe support, can be quite a cool feature if you ever find a need for it.

I would say try Ebuyer they tend to be a lil cheaper. I've checked out a few of your components and you can save a few quid on them. Also they give you free delivery for orders over £50 so if you can get most of your stuff from off their website you can save money on delivery costs from various different places. Your cpu: £57.73 Ebuyer has your GPU at a slightly higher price but in a test order done on that other website the £12.00 delivery fee makes ebuyer cheaper. Your GPU: £63.90 This ram at £35 is very good: 4GB kit lifetime warranty Haven't had time to look into a suitable mobo but by comparing price alone I just picked this one £53.03 I've got work early in the morn so maybe some other members can scrutinise this for me.

Well I'm not expecting any happy go lucky sunshine style stuff. But the lack of a new disappointment at the moment is probably a good thing. Things have been looking up for me ever since, as for the ex, things are getting worse and worse but not my problem I guess.

Yup mine went south, but won't be long until someone else comes along, I think 2009 will be much kinder to me. But despite what happened I'm a better person today because of it, and in regards to my former lady: No worries here
