Now being a bit more serious, or attempting to be, with the music, I've now invested in a tenor sax from eBay. Needs a new mouthpiece but apparently a good deal

Urgh, Wallbridge, I think I took less time than I did first time, and was brought to my attention afterwards I forgot to turn the objective tracking back on. Would've saved me much time. I don't know what it is that sets this apart for me, maybe the characters (love Pascal), or the story (albeit a lil samey to other Tales), but the battle system does require more thinking and strategy than just hammering attack constantly. I think I'm not doing as much as the moment because the jobs are trickling through now, I've managed to hit level 5 on quite a few. I feel the dualizing, if not for requests at inns and upgrading weapons, tis a nice form of cooking, although I don't think I've come across a book with a list of the actual recipes of stuff I've been able to make, not just a list of items made. Never bring Ratatosk up again, that game never happened. NEVER I TELL YOU. What could've made it better would be a proper overworld to explore, which Zesteria did an alright job with. I'm only bout 25-30 hours in, sorting out the gun so I can get to Fodra

Since Christmas I've been getting into the cross stitch lark... Got a few designs from Etsy, and looking at more but resisting. My most recent project https://www.instagram.com/p/DFlKbYuiWH8NCNkUxyvXGdbiF3LFZQ2udIgGtM0/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

I'm taking my time going through this, working on getting the most out of the titles, something I neglected/didn't understand properly back in t'day. I was surprised by the extras it offered straight away, give yourself x5 EXP from the off... over 1 million gald... ah'mazin. I only took 300,000 gald and spending as crazy as I could. And increasing inventory size I know right? Very tactical, much more strategy to think about than mindless button bashing.

Phone messing me about so can't find the thread, but Mario RPG £20 at Amazon at the moment. Don't think I'll get it myself, but savings for others!

It's that time again, more live than Jools Holland and his false shenanigans... Last year's to see how we did https://forum.n-europe.com/topic/39929-eevils-new-year-resolution-thread-2024-edition/#comment-1909129 My trees are still there... So the challenge continues. Games Workshop reset the game systems which has held back my previous more-gamings resolution because the enthusiasm had gone a little because I have to reprogramme my memory. The YouTube channel still exists but has nothing on it, but one of my main resolutions is to focus on this, and try and get one video a month. I got a Keylab for Christmas which gives me access to a wealth of instruments which is making me feel more confident and don't have to fear about reaching out for collabs. But I am working on trying to teach myself piano (Duolingo helping a bit here, but I think it's done all it can on a mobile screen) I'm also trying to be more careful with my money, I usually put about £100 in a second account each payday, and then I spend willy-nilly and often have to dip into the second account to make sure I don't overdrawn before next payday. For the past couple of months I've been recording my post-expenses spending and trying to stay within £100 a week and put £200 in my second account Your turn!

Just gone through the Winter Wonder level. Missing the last bot, and surprised the bots were not there in the core game

My Nintendo ( Club Nintendo Successor )
EEVILMURRAY replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
They arrived this morning, very pleased that they have the heavy duty backs to stop them falling out. Similar to these: https://www.fangamer.com/products/locking-pin-backs?srsltid=AfmBOoog2Ub0Jb4gERg4hMvqlKTVajqKjmOuQjSQ6BIVDHf6G_2JASkH -
There is a New Zealand version on iPlayer now, seems to have a couple of NZ celebrities, but nowhere near bogged down by the amount of "reality TV stars" that the American version has, so there's no whiny drama. A little twisty.

I think I'm gonna put a tenner on Trump if the odds are crazy enough.

My Nintendo ( Club Nintendo Successor )

I was tempted for this, but I mainly went on for the Brothership pin badges and was sadly a few coins short to buy both -
It is demanding and complicated, because of how bigger and bloated it is. Making you jump through more more hoops for the same results does you mean you have to put more into it, but you're not going to get much return. I've not long passed the Witchyworld dodgems instance mentioned in this video and I get it completely, all that back and forth for that, I would say I felt more relief it was over than inherently rewarded.

It's also kinda meh, the game system is a watered down version of the actual TCG, and the only way to get a decent deck is to pull an EX card/Gym Leader, which unlocks a rental version of their deck* to use against the CPU opponents who later on rock 2-3 EX Pokémon per deck (and you're lucky to have even one). I've made my way through the missions with mainly the Brock deck and used only decks of own creation using only booster back pulls about 2-3 times. *which you can use 10 times, Brock has disappeared on my list to use because I used it too much.

I can see the criticisms of the worlds being too big coming out of world 3. It feels weird after all the fapping around I've done and how long it's taken (just opened up world 4) I've only got about 16 jiggies. I feel I should have more for the investment. I'll take it to the end because I am enjoying it, but it isn't going to be 100% completion. I've skipped a couple at the moment because messing with flying and shooting just wasn't working out for me. It's weird Yooka Laylee ended up being what it was when this kind of opinion was given to them years prior.

I did something semi-similar along those lines when taking Pokédex text literally from cards many years back https://derekwheatley.wordpress.com/2012/04/05/feature-dark-side-of-the-mon-2/

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (26th September 2024)
EEVILMURRAY replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I've done some of them, but the ones where they strip you of all echoes so you have to throw rocks to defeat your first enemy or whatnot weren't for me. Maybe I wasn't thinking outside of the box enough. I was only doing it to try and get that sword for Dampè, but I haven't even tried using the automatons he has given me already (all 2 of them) -

No need, I saw it the first time, after I'd done it obviously. Both one-note approaches either way. All in all, not a bad game, I think I will check a guide and get the last echoes, but dream dojo, horse racing, stamps, pieces of heart... Nah, I'll flog it. -

Finished off the final battle today, the passiveness was even stronger here since your ability to attack is butt fucked into oblivion. About 5 echoes off completion according to the Deku Tree, but not sure if I can be arsed to find them all, don't know if I need another pot/bed to add to my collection -

Never thought of using the tiles... Anyone summon a shitton of crows when surrounded by things a Darknut can't handle? -
No. And now it won't delete Twitter quotes from my phone when it's part of a quote, so enjoy the below...

This seems to be designed for the person who sleeps alone all the time. If I had this the movement the wife does when waking up would drive me crazy. I can't see how this is considered a good business decision in 2024 when there are so many options to use as an alarm that has more than 5 varieties of sound.
