  1. That bit is literally classic
  2. Happy bday fellow hollowegian. Er as in the Uni not the prison :awesome:
  3. Oh man. When I was in Paris with some uni friends we were next door to these hot American girls. One nighty they invited us round for drinks. Anyway the conversation was all quite jovial and everything a cultural exchange if you will. Then one of the girls said something about wiggers. Me thinking I would come across as smart by informing this person were the phrase came from said "Oh yes those are white people who think they are niggers". The room when silent and I literally couldn't believe what I said. Luckily instaed of thinking I was a member of the KKK she realised I was a silly englishman she sweetly said "We dont say that word in our country". Luckily the convosation moved on and the wine flowed. But my friends still remind me of that disaster. I wouldnt really blame that on political correctness as the word nigger is just nasty. I would blame it on alchol and myself
  4. Annie Hall and Manhatten. I am in love with Woody Allen because of these two films.
  5. Ok guys PMs have been sent to all concerned. Gives you time for weekend shopping and time to send them off over the week. If anyone still wants to join quilkly PM me and I will see what Santa can do.
  6. Izzie going mental today was quite funny. Shame that the timmonds have been chucked out :/ I liked their comedy japes with Lyn. Oh and is Janene the er padded one the older daugther or Jannele? If so then yes I think she must have had padding or a er operation by Karl
  7. I think the thing about Political Corectness is that usually but not always the motives behind it are good but the outcomes sometimes aren't Obviously the good points are it gets people into the mindset of disagreeing with racists who want are outraged that they can't "speak their mind" or in other words shout abuse. The bad part of it seems to be it stops true expressions that are sometiemes harmless (like celebrating Christmas) Councils flex their muscles and take the moral highground by stating that they are wanting equality. But the truth is and to use the Christmas problem as an example, the 'minorities' are quite mature enough to either enjoy or not participate in this national holiday.
  8. cube_game Mr_Odwin oliherst weeyellowbloke Fatrox Cubechris Myself and maybe Haver looks like the ones who are up for it. Ok need will give it another two days for any last minute entries, then I will be asking for addresses and PMing to the persons secret santa. So cmon guys, remember you can send anything a piece of string etc! Although you will probably be mocked afterwards, in the Christmas spirit of course
  9. Where did you get that from Cubechris?
  10. All hail the King of the giant consoles! With the Xbox 360 out and the Xbox devoid of new first party games this seems an apt time to celebrate this console. What have been your favorite memories with it? Your scariest moments, your happiest times? Just talk about your experinces and times with the black brick of joy. I think my favourite memory was from this game. Just the sheer beauty of it all, the sky the epic open levels the possibilites of the AI and open battlefield I thought it was wonderful. Playing co-op one man driving the warthog and the other shooting wildy will always be a great memory.
  11. Ok so we have a few people who are up for it. Its basicaslly about fun and community you can send a penny sweet and joke if you want it doesn't have to be £10 its anything under £10. So cmon guys lets see that loving RE spirit join up now! I will compile a list of people who want to do it in a week.
  12. Hmm, is it that big a deal though? I mean people exchange addresses on the trade board all the time this is the same principle. Anyway come on guys join up we can't send presents to ourselves like Mr Bean!
  13. Ok guys its Christmas time soon! And what better way to celebrate it by giving some joy to fellow RE members. The idea of this thread is for RE members to show their love to each other by posting nice presents to people on the forum. Basically put your name down if you are up for it and then when we have enough people I will jumble up the names in a literal hat and PM people who they have to send presents to. The presents are a £10 pound or under limit but its the thought that counts As for addresses people can either PM me (then I can stalk them) or put them on the forum (were everyone will stalk them). Anyway hope this idea is ok with mods etc I think it could be a really fun idea but if it is locked for security reasons etc I won't be offended. Anyway Happy December forumites!
  14. Dear god I may be getting a dictaphone that can connect to my com this christmas. Wow I can unleash my truly horrific singing voice in a tribute to Odwins happy news!
  15. I saw REM earlier this year, by far the best gig ive ever been too. You went to hyde park? That was literally epic.
  16. Congrats Mr Odwin! Heres a remixed version of Miss You by Incubus for you. To see that bread face when I log on is a texture I hoped not to feel to know that you do this a lot seems to be a rather creepy dream You do something on RE that I can explain!!!!! so would I be out of time, if I sang I miss cueeed I see your avatar I fear your lock I see your empty thread next to mine you have only locked ten threads but already I am Pm'ing away I know I'll instant message you again whether through msn or irc soon! but I need you to know that I want another song and I miss you!!!
  17. Sorry for the literally horrible thread title, I saw Franz Ferdinand live last night and was literally and metephorically blown away it was classic, even the mental crowd who made the whole experience akin to being in the Atlantic Ocean during a perfect storm, no sign of George Clooney luckily. Anyway my question is whats teh best gig you have been to firstly for experience as in crowd etc secondly for pure band quality?
  18. I meant a little thing for like where the Wi Fi code is to put quotes in weekly. The kingdom sounds nice to though... Don't blame me I posted that at damn something AM after a Franz Ferdinand concert I should be allowed to be a little vague
  19. Hey you pinched this idea from me you son of a... Man Mods can you insert me with a quote of the week thing? I promise to put you hard working mods in there all the time!
  20. And they will be doing the same with you I'm sure.
  21. I'm fine actually I am Ollie AND Eric yep thats right I had a suffix change! Anyway yeh I'm fine still handing out gifts to people, of course its all dependent on how much 'free time' my doctor lets me have to meet other people. In sainer news I want the following. Digital Radio. A suit! Blondie AND Madness Best of. Fire Ebelam. Calvin and Hobbes collection. DS and Mario Kart. Manhatten on DVD. Headphones. If you guys could get me this stuff I would make sure you got a place on the next para olympics team. Of course I would have to remove your leg first, that would disable you from competing.
  22. Will miss you Svt hope your life goes well and you will be on msn. Truly a legend. Hey Roadkill don't you have a sandpit to play in?
  23. Good news guys this is like Have I got News for you but everyone is Angus!
  24. Man thats really tough for you and the people you love :/ Its good that your talking about it and I hope you get through it as you are a decent guy.
  25. Don't forget this guys! Shame it has already lost one customer thanks to the death of Whitely. On a more serious note Narnia is above Need for Speed?
