I think he’s underestimated quite a bit. Admittedly his injury record hasn’t been great but when he has played this season he’s been fantastic. A lot of times he’s had to play CB for United this season and has been so consistent, having a talented LB who can also comfortably play CB is a huge bonus.

I’m glad Shaw finally got some minutes. I think that should be the end of Trippier starting now. Shaw must’ve made more overlapping runs in about 45 mins than Trippier did in 4 1/2 games! Oh, and that was from left CB as well, he wasn’t even the wingback.

How does Ivan Toney not even look at the ball!? Literally just stared at the keeper the entire time!

Just log in on your laptop 😜 let’s say that on 1920px wide screen the content of the forum uses a width of 1000px. So if you’re viewing a thread without the sidebar then the posts will be 1000px wide. But the sidebar takes up 300px, so the posts in a thread with the sidebar are 700px wide. Then if you scroll down beyond the sidebar you’re then seeing posts that are 700px wide and the other 300px is just empty space.
-
It isn’t ever full width. If you’re viewing a thread that doesn’t have the side bar then it just uses the space the sidebar takes up as extra width for the posts.

That yellow for Paulinha is made even worse by the fact that he’ll now miss the semi if Portugal go through. How has there not been a change to the appeals process meaning yellow cards like this can be overturned? A player of his importance could literally be the difference between losing a semi or getting through to the final!

Can it be moved to the top of the thread with the option to expand it, this would match how it appears in mobile view. I like the idea of having the summary, it’s just the position that I think impacts negatively due to reducing the width of posts and adding inconsistency with threads that don’t have it.
-
Seems to be only the larger threads that have the side bar and also seems like a waste of screen space.

What's the criteria for a thread to have the summary box on the right side? I find the width of the content changing when going between threads that have it and those that don't really jarring. Is it possible to remove it? Personally I don't think it adds any real value.

Hate to be a downer but I’m finding the forums to be just as slow as it has been the last few days 🫤 Not as bad as it has been sometimes recently, but I think still slower than it was before the issues started. Might just be me though 🤷♂️

I think you’re taking this Lee Dixon hatred a bit far Bellingham has been far from his best this tournament and today, despite the goal.

I’m not sure I want to watch another 30 minutes of this…

The biggest question is how has Foden not kept himself onside?!

No changes…

VAR isn't the issue, the people running it is. We're still going to have the same, if not more, errors and controversy, the only difference this will mean is there is no chance of it being overturned. For example Luis Diaz's goal, possibly the biggest incident being cited as the reason VAR shouldn't be used, was ruled out on the pitch. Yes, it was a major fuck up to not overturn the decision but the fact is with VAR gone the goal still would not have stood. Also, just last month the Premier League approved the use of semi-automated offside so possibly the thing that VAR has struggled most with - offsides - won't be as much of an issue. People really have rose tinted glasses about the state of the game and the quality of referring/decisions before VAR. Scrapping it would be a big step backwards.

So is he always gonna be wearing turtle necks? Don't see how else he can hide that damn collar

X-Men 97 episode 5 has absolutley no right being as good as it is. Best episode of anything I've seen in god knows how long.

Looking back on Pokémon Starters (Paldea - Gen 9)
Eddage replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Gen 5 is the first time I hated all the starters, it's also my least favourite gen. I remember not enjoying it when it first came out and recently I've been doing nuzlocke runs of all the games - I gave up on this one about half way through, could not force myself through it. It's not just the starters I don't like, Gen 5 in general has some of me least favourite pokemon. Krookodile, Excadrill, Hydreigon and Volcorana are pretty much the only ones I'd say I like. -
EEVIL's New Year Resolution Thread - 2024 Edition
Eddage replied to EEVILMURRAY's topic in General Chit Chat
Last year was the first time in a few years that buying a home wasn't one of my resolutions, yet it actually finally happened. Perhaps I should just say stuff I don't want to happen Really though my only goal this year is to start eating better and get into better shape, I've just had a rowing machine delivered this morning so hopefully I actually use that on the regular! -
As a United supporter I want Ten Hag to stay. To me this continuous cycle of managers coming in and "losing the dressing room" shows that there are some toxic players at the club that will just down tools if they don't get their way. Ole was apparently too touchy feely and didn't train hard enough, Ten Hag is apparently too distant and trains too hard, they can't win!... Nothing will change until these players are shipped out, I don't think any manager could do the job whilst they're still at the club. Arteta was given time at Arsenal to do something similar, get rid of overpaid players, even if it's at a loss, and rebuild with an emphasis on youth. The trouble is whilst the Glazers are there they would never accept selling players on the cheap. Apparently the reason Martial is still at the club is because, for some reason, the Glazers like him and have blocked multiple managers from selling. Rashford having one good season, getting a new mega contract, and then going back to his usual self is disgraceful, but not at all surprising and he shouldn't be anywhere near the team at the moment.

I mean that's kind of a staple with the MCU... Lots of the films themselves do not necessarily impact the wider Universe but will hint to other things in the credit scenes, or have aspects that are tied together and called back to in future movies. I'm not saying this film is top tier MCU, of course it isn't. But it's also no where near the bottom and I still think it's worth seeing in the cinema.

Thank God! It drove me mad that the things you could do from a Pokémon's summary screen changed when they were in your party or in a box!
