I guess I'll just sell the little motherfuckers then.

Honestly I have no idea. It's been a while for me. Can't you gift them through letters? Town is open for a little while, but I'm AFK. Sahara is here, for those who want to buy some stuff. Shop is also open. Lots of stuff happened today. Museum is gorgeous! But it's a shame I can't read Blather's info on the cards. Now I have to catch everything I just donated again to hear his info. Shop is open like I said. Nook informed me 3 new animals want to live here, so I'll get to work on that later. I also had star bits all over my beaches. Must be from the meteorite shower last night. Edit: If fossiles are the only thing I can trade, I also seem to have a spare Triceratops skull.
-
I have some spare Tarantulas by the way, caught yesterday. For those having trouble with them. I'll go check out my town now, the museum should be open, so I can finally get rid of all my fish. I'll probably do a longer session in the evening, and I'll open my town then. May visit some other people too, haven't done that yet!

I put the shop down, I'd have preferred it at (roughly) the same spot as the current one, but it'll have to do. I think I can relocate the buildings later if needed. Are tiger beetles rare? I've never seen them in other games, and I've only noticed a few of them. It was the beetle I couldn't catch before. I have a spare if anyone wants it. I have a meteorite shower, so I'm seeing (and hearing) shooting stars constantly. And yes, it's the same. Look up, don't hold anything, and press A. You get Nook miles for it. And I googled it, and got spoiled. Apparently you'll get something else as well eventually. I also met Wisp this evening. Luckily there were no spirit parts on the hills.

Guys I have shooting stars. How do you pray again?

It sounded interesting, but I didn't take it because I didn't know the exact mechanics, and didn't want to look it up right then. Sounds good. I assume there are other cards with the same mechanic?

How does pressure point work? Is it like poison?

@Sheikah Also Sheikah, my villager Reneé thinks your title is really cool, and she wants to use "total lad" for herself. Did a bit of busy work this morning, was still up again, and prepared for a Nook tour later in the day, by emptying my inventory as much as possible, and get some fish bait. So this afternoon I took a tour, and I accomplished my goal of getting the rest of the iron required for the shop. Didn't spend a lot of time there, it's a small island after all, and I can't even access all of it without a ladder. I suspect the chance for rare fish is higher here, because I caught the Coelacanth above even though I spent hours in the rain yesterday. It's not even raining as you can see. Also caught a Sturgeon, and a butterfly I hadn't seen before, and several football fish. I also invited Ellie to the island. So went back to upgrade the store.. <sigh> You get a tent just like the museum. I aligned the museum with the shop.. But you can't put the tent on the current shop. Argh. So I haven't placed it yet, I'll figure it out later this evening. Speaking of the museum, why is it making me wait 2 days? Haha. Got some stuff to donate. I also saw a bug I don't think I've seen before, but couldn't catch it. Looked like a green beetle, but it wasn't on a tree, but freely roaming around. Flew away before I could catch it. You need miles for a ticket, even if you redeemed everything else (and I suspect there will be more to redeem later). The Nook+ achievements keep repeating, but they're an easy source of miles if you keep doing them and clearing them "off the board" once they're done. If you don't need miles you can ignore them.

Yeah I made sure I had some extra cards that put her into calm mode. Not sure if I have enough now though. Need to find a right balance. Not sure which card I like best for that either.

Defeated the Act1 boss. I'll save here because I want some relaxing island chores done, and this is making me think. I'm really liking tantrum, and it looks like "multihit decks" is one of her archetypes. There are a lot of multihit attacks, and talk to the hand works really welll with that. Defintely adding anoher copy of that if I see it.

She does a lot of damage..

I'm already done downloading.

Fishing adventures with @Sheikah -
Haha, whoops. For some reason I had "tomorrow" in my mind.
-
Yeah like I said, I was online most morning for a change (that's not going to happen often ), so I figured I needed the shop, or they changed that it's Sunday by default for everyone. Edit: Town is open. It's raining here. Peaches and everything on the hills (I can't get there yet) is up for grabs. I'll be doing my own thing.

So where my fucking update at? Did time eater eat the launch time or something?
-
Yeah, Corona has its advantages. For some people. I do not have the Turnip girl. Does she show up only with some requirements or something? Since I'm a day behind. I also did break some stones yesterday, yeah, whoops! Though maybe it has an upside, as I have less stones to try out for bells and ore. I have most of the stuff donated for the shop, except the ore. Luckily I bought another ticket and the inventory upgrade, so I can visit another island to get supplies. Museum is on it's way. Since I was still up this morning, I had a bunch of stuff done. Gulliver was my visitor. Visited another island, brought a whole coconut tree to my island, and some flowers, but I forgot I needed to dig 'm up and not pluck 'm. Whoops. But I had some extra flowers planted anyway. I invited another dude to my island. My starter islanderswere Reneé and Dom by the way. Edit: If someone still wants to visit my underdeveloped town (like if you still need peaches or something), I could open it up when I'm playing the game in a minute.

I'm disappointed not one of you nerds was going to call me out on my mangos. Though I suspect it wouldn't have broken their budget to add some new fruit and fish and bugs. I mean, there's some new stuff, I caught a hermit crab which I don't think I've seen before, but most of it is the same. That said, I'm actually liking the crafting. I wasn't looking forward to it, but it's fine in practice. Your flimsy stuff breaks fast, but the sticks seem to be in infinite supply, so it's not a huge problem. In my evening session, I saw Timmy was buying stuff. I thought you had to wait until the next day for that too, as he said he was still setting up last time. I thought I was mostly done for the day, and was looking for new fish and bugs in the evening, or other things, but this gave me more stuff to do. Also I didn't know sticks were infinite, I read that here, so yeah. I wan't online yesterday evening, so I missed most of the launch day talks, but caught up on those 5 pages today. Caught plenty stuff, broke and crafted multiple tools, sold and bought stuff. Got more Nook miles, and payed off my tent, so I get to say goodbye to it after only having spent two nights in it. But can't wait to see how my house looks tomorrow. I should check out the state of my towns in the Wii and DS games though.

Cool, can't wait to die on A0 again! Haha. But I'll give her some test runs tomorrow. Also that Yolo run didn't go to well in Act2 haha. Though I think it was mostly due to mistakes in Act 2 rather than not preparing for it in Act 1, but not sure. I've been productive the last few days, I unlocked several ascensions. Silent A5 I actually can't remember this one. Looking at my history, it did look like a good shiv deck, with 3 cloak and daggers+ 2 Adrenalines+, burst, and a kunai. Phantasmal image and terror to help with damage. Lost to the heart, though I was low on health due to the elite fight before it. It looked like a good deck, but can't remember the fight, so I can't remember why the act 4 elite were giving me trouble. Maybe bad card draw, but the deck was relatively tight and also had some card draw. But I unlocked A6. Silent A6 Now this was a fun deck! It wasn't actually doing something specific for a long time. It was mostly relying on poison damage, but I didn't have a cataclysm or something. I did spend most of my money on a thread and needle relic when I saw it in the shop, after seeing it recommended in a video, and not having seen any other worthwhile relics. Great decision! Because later I got the event where you get offered 5 apparitions, which work really well with thread and needle. To top it off I had not one, but 2 Nightmares, so I was always copying an apparition. This made me very hard to kill.. Alas, The Heart killed me anyway, but I think I could have won if I was paying attention. Made some mistakes. Although on the other hand I don't know if my damage output was good enough for The Heart, as I was relying mostly on poison without a cataclysm. I haven't picked up those apparations since when I just started out with this game, but I really had fun with this deck. Also it was the first time I ever chose to upgrade everything with the Mindbloom event. Normally I fight an Act 1 boss for a free relic, but seeing as I was relying on those apparitions, I chose the upgrade option. So satisfying to have everything upgraded! Failed Defect A4 Facepalm moment. I had a GODLY deck. Pure frost deck, 2 cold snaps, 2 glaciers, 2 blizzards and a chill. And a fission to help out. Inserter as a key relic. Pretty tight deck at 25 cards. I only needed a consume and maybe some defrags, plus some coolheadeds.. But it was mostly about removing the starter cards. Lost to Bronze Automaton, because I'm an idiot. I had 2 blizzards doing 80 damage in my hand, enough to kill him. But noooo.. "Let's stall this turn to upgrade the genetic algorhitm". Of course he kills me next turn. <sigh> I'm definitely replaying that one by entering the seed in a custom game. Defect A4 Tried to get that pure frost deck going again, but this deck was much more bloated and didn't have an inserter. Nor did I get a consume and capacitor the entire run. I did have some defragments, but consume is so much better if you have the spare orbs. I had some lightning stuff from the beginning, but by the end that stuff was just getting in the way. I did have an early genetic algorhithm again, and this time I got to duplicate it later, so I had 2 high block cards. Good enough to unlock A5, but I lost to the elite fight in Act 4. Silent Daily Decided to check out one of the dailies. I checked one out earlier, one with Ironclad who started with all rare cards.. But I didn't find it fun (it's something you have to get used to) so I stopped playing after Act 1. But this one was very fun. It was a draft, and all colours were available. I already had at least a Claw, but once I got an All for one in Act 1, the direction for the deck was decided. Again, all colours were available, so I had fun with this. It appears that, flex and anger, work really well with all for one! I also had a couple of claws, and some other defect 0-cost cards. I duplicated the all for one, and it was just a massacre once I've drawn one of them. Play the flex, angers and claws.. Then the all for one. You can play flex again for +8 strenght in total, you have upgraded claws, and more angers than you previously played. Insane haha, I also had a single fusion, and decided not to go for any other orb cards. Playing it once makes sure you have at least one extra energy, and when you draw the card again, you have 2 extra energy. I also got a hyperbeam for the AoE damage. I generally don't use the card, as I think the drawback's too big, but I wasn't using focus anyway, so it was great here. Defect A5 And another fun one. Having 2 echo forms is fun! This time I did have the inserter and consume combo. I had some frost cards, so once set up I was generating insane amounts of block. It was risky, as it's slow to set-up. I usually took heavy damage the first several turns. But once I set, I was unkillable. The thing is you have to wait for your echo form, which is expensive.. Then wait some more for the 2nd. But after that you'd be set. Echo forming your echo form means afterwards, the first three cards would be played twice. Self repair+ heals for 20, really compensating for the early damage. Claws gets upgraded twice as fast. Coolheaded give you 2 more frost orbs and 4 cards, and Glacier gives you 4 frost orbs and plenty block. Plenty of things you can do with echo form, and with 2 of them you don't even have to choose. I took out The Heart again with this deck. Ironclad A6 Last one, and nothing exciting.. I got a dead branch from Neow. So I thought "well ok, let's try the combo", and went for the first corruption I laid eyes on. After that.. well it's messy, all those cards, but effective. But yet again, being an idiot, I forgot the key parts, so didn't access Act 4. Pretty sure that would have been another Heart kill.

Haven't really taken pictures yet, so I went for an evening session and took a picture of my "garden". Most should have my friend code. But here's the info. Sméagol - 1077 2707 8116 - Peaches - Bonita -
I just got the game. I'm still doing the prologue. Was annoyed I can't set my tent at the little island in the middle! Guess I'll have to relocate later, but I'm slowly getting terraforming ideas. I'll go check the online later when I'm all set up. Also, I have mangos on my island.

Prequel to The Messenger, but a totally different game: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sabotagestudio/sea-of-stars Absolutely looking gorgeous.

@Glen-i & @Dcubed I dunno what's in the new Jackbox apart from this, but apparently they're also releasing this as a standalone. Could be interesting, as this and Fibbage are my favs, but I'm not really interested in the rest.
