Not in the store unfortunately, need mums and lilies as well. Have some cosmos in storage, but planned to use them myself. But I'm not using them now, so I'll give you some. -

I'll come overin a minute. 2 trips ok? You needed roses huh? I have yellow and red. And Japanese furniture? Don't think I have anything in storage, I'd need to look in the catalogue. -
Yeah I was wondering as well about the different sets. Was thinking I'd have come across some of them by them now. At the moment I only have stuff from the "Rattan" set, the crafted "wooden" set, and seasonal stuff like the bunny set, cherry blossom set, and bamboo set. Can't think of any others from the top of my head.

I have roses in my store. I'm pretty sure I have red ones currently, and I think white. You want seeds I assume? I can bring some when I come over tonight. -
I can get you sky eggs when I'm back online. But yeah. I need the balloon onslaught, because occasionally they'd drop a cherry blossom recipe. Still need several of those. Oh dear. I have a few buildings I want to move just a few tiles.

@Tales, are you online later this day? Evening? -
I think I almost like it? I'd need to see other colour schemes. And to know how it feels.

My gate's open for a bit. Able sisters have a red fedora and cool steampunk glasses. Edit: And Sahara is here.
-
I bought this in the last steam winter sale for 32 euros, but the game was still pretty new back then. Normal price is 40 euros, and in my opinion, it's worth all that for the quality writing you're getting.
-
You can just walk around your beach and pick up all the shells. Sand dollars are the most common to respawn. But I'll try to save some if I see them on my beach. I needed them earlier for a DIY recipe as well.

I found this link somewhere else: https://turnipprophet.io/index.html? According to that, my own max this week will be around 200, so I'll be looking for other islands to visit! -
This.. Will probably get its own thread later.
-
I'll open up the gates now, until my stores close (9 UK). For anyone who just wants to visit and check the store.
-
I was thinking more of a special event kind of thing, not just between us, but with my island open to the general public. I already kind of have impromptu places where I dump my spare fossils and diy recipes, but I want to organize it bit better. My fossils are slowly to start piling up, and does anyone need a bunny stool recipe? But yeah, for now, I just send the stuff I've bought or shot down or whatever, but don't have the space right for now or simply don't want, to you people, anyone on my in-game friendlist, once a week. For a lot of people, one of the end-game goals to get a complete catalogue, so I'm starting now by buying lots of stuff. Still not everything, simply for inventory management reasons, but I get stuff simply to add it to my catalogue. And yeah, I like the idea of just opening up your gate by default. I actually intended to do that, but there are some downsides, like balloons not showing up. So I haven't opened up my gates that much. I'll try to do so in the future.
-
Actually, you can buy the AC Switch from the Nook Stop as well. I should have it in my mailbox right now. What do people think of this idea I had, an open trading market. Was thinking of opening my island to the public with a Dodo code, for anyone who wants to dump their unwanted stuff and to potentially get new stuff in return. Wanted to do this with just fossils initally, but "why stop there?" I thought. Furniture, clothing, diy recipes.. I'll post a regular update of my adventures later.

Does the game use the triggers / bumpers? I assume it does. What's the price on Switch?

Yup, I also made 2 trips to @Ugh first aid's island! One to fill my inventory with turnips, and another to go back for the tux that was in her store! Didn't come back for more turnips, as I have enough inventory management as it is haha. After I sell these, I'll probably have enough money anyway. -
Since I'm going to give a bit of general advice, I'll post it here. But there are various approaches. Start with watching all the tutorials, they're helpful and often funny. You can do the campaign for inspiration if you haven't completed it yet. The tutorials will give you 2 basic approaches, one is to start to think of a theme, and design around that, this is what we do in the challenge, or to just start and make it up as you go. I do both depending on the level. Start basic, and also just experiment. Personally, I use the "make it up as you go approach for relatively straight forward levels. I will have a basic idea, and will just start building. If you have a specific idea, you need to build around that, come up with set-ups, and variations on that. This can be anything, so again, just experiment in the editor, and test it out. You ca also just "get stuff out there", and then get our criticism afterwards, you'll know what can be improved. For now, just start with something simple. Go SMB1 style, try to make a simple level. Stretch out the level to the fullest, but don't use the upper area, and no subareas aside from maybe the optional bonus room. Start with filling the floor all the way to the end, and place gaps here and there, then a few enemies and ? blocks with power-ups. Simple stuff. Go play it, then think, "hmm, how can I make this more interesting?", then you go look at the other stuff. The other elements. Take something that looks interesting to you, place it, and see what it does for you in your level. Try to stick with 1 or 2 specific elements to have some theme going on. Play, watch, experiment, upload, ask for criticism, and learn. And repeat. If you can, ask someone around you to playtest your level, this is VERY helpful. And just go play some actual Mario to get inspiration. I wanted to make a traditional Ghost House level, so I fired up Super Mario World in the SNES app to see what one looks like again. And like I said in the challenge thread.. If you really don't know what to do.. You can also just simply play our levels, watch what we do, and learn from the criticism we give each other. And you can also watch helpful videos like this one:

April challenge: Autoscroll! It's Corona season April, time for the April Mario Maker challenge! The theme The theme for this month is to make a level that autoscrolls! There are no further requirements for this theme, so you can use anything you want. For those who want to use scroll stopping features: you can have one scroll stopping wall per area, so 2 max.
